Sam put his visor up, and smiled back. Then, the mutants came in. Sam instinctively turned his back towards Noir, knowing he could trust her guarding his back. "I think it's the best idea to each pick a target." He said to everyone, while putting his visor down again. However, Sam's target choose him. Mystique rushed at him, immediatly shooting him on sight. Sam used his armored arms to block off the shots, and rushed towards her as well. When they met halfway, Mystique made a flip in the air and tried to downwards kick Sam. Sam's fast reaction speed made him able to kick away the leg with his right one and while using this momentum to turn around, he tried kicking her in the stumach with his other leg. Mystique blocked the kick with her arms, but it was powerful enough to make her slide back a few meters.
Sam, still balancing on his right leg in the position he stood in directly after kicking, stretched his arm and made the 'come at me' gesture. Mystique was clearly pissed and came at him. "Sirjav, tell me: is this mutant a real person?" "Is that a philosophical question?" Sam laughed. "No, this is for real." On his screen, a circle targeted Mystique's head and circled a few times around it. "Sir, I can't detect the target as human or anything alike." Sam now got a sly smile on his face. "That's all I needed to know." Sam got on two feet again, and extended his blades hidden on the bottom of his armor's wrists. "Now, the fun can begin..."
