Roleplay Interests: Star Trek, Final Fantasy VII, Pokémon and FFXIV. Pretty much exclusively right now. Doctor Who if you can sell me on a plot idea. I am very hesitant to roleplay in an original world, because I enjoy fleshing out my characters, and a lot of times original worlds lack a lot of the information I need to effectively roleplay. I roleplay PG-13 scenarios. I'm 30 IRL, but mature themes just aren't my cup of tea in general. If you desire more, I’m open to conversation. I tend to avoid relationship-based RPs, though some of my characters are more prone to it than others. I have no control over Emet-Selch—he does what he wants.
Roleplay Style: For the most part, I can't RP a child. Which of course is entirely awkward for most Pokémon RPs, so on the whole I'd much prefer to RP a Pokémon instead of a Trainer. I also largely RP males, though I've been known to play other things. I'm also entirely fine RPing Canon characters of my preferred Fandoms, and I like to think I do a good job? You can expect two paragraphs minimum from me, pretty much universally, with no cap. Sometimes I won't shut up. That said, I try to write concise posts—meat and potatoes. Once upon a time I wrote in purple, but I really don't have time for that anymore. With certain partners I can do bursts of rapid-fire, but at that point my responses will shorten.

Yeah, I'm usually pretty good about connecting to people, but I have like nothing to go on in that thread. I'd make like a Pokemon joke, but most people haven't watched the XY Anime, probably because it's for ten year olds. But hey it's funny.

Heads up, Light and I are probably going to be making a collab post tomorrow whenever we're both free so we can speed up our RP to get to the lab before everyone poofs.
Oh yeah, I have a really good OOC relationship with my current successful RP partner, and it really, really does help. We're not afraid to post what we think might be shit because the other person isn't going to judge. It's nice. I can pop out a barebones post if I'm busy and he's cool with it because he knows I'll go right back to posting small novels as soon as I have time. I'll have to establish some OOC stuff in my Pokemon RP, but I'm not really sure how to go about it. Maybe I'll go make an undermeme joke.

Sans is the best! Hehehe. Well, he would be the best with this MTT Brand Bishie Cream. Annnnyway, 3 years is a good time for a roleplay! My most successful one lasted about that long until Acorn Rack was taken offline. After that, I couldn't locate half of the RP group, since we really only communicated in the cbox. One girl I knew IRL, from school... she played with me when I left for cool leg. I have no idea where she is. I hope she's alive and okay, I tried finding her on Facebook and calling her house, nothing.
DEPRESSING TANGENT! But yeah, that's a pretty good track record! Taking over dead RPs is honestly pretty awesome of you. Most of the time I just drop it like it's hot if the GM dips out before 60 posts. I agree 3-4, but I've done a good one with 5 people. On my old RP site we had 10 or 15 members, but it was a sitewide canon thing, so everyone had separate threads, usually 1x1 or 3-4 people.

I think we would work out just fine! :O Yeah, one of my old RPs everyone posted about 10 paragraphs. It was nice, but sometimes it's very, very difficult, time consuming and completely unnecessary to write that much. With that expectation it takes you longer to write, and then you stall... and don't post, feel guilty... then stuff stops... yeah it gets ugly. My standards now are pretty much... can I read your post? Cool. Is there enough for me to work with to write my own post? Awesome. Details are a luxury that I prefer to have though.
I honestly have issues with group RPs a lot. Especially recently. Back two years ago... or ten years ago, it wasn't so bad. Now? I don't know, maybe the RPer base has changed. I think my RPs are too detailed? Even so though, two years ago I RPed on this silly iPhone app, and got a nice solid base of about ~5 players in a Doctor Who RP and a FFVII RP. Both finished several months later, too. On Reddit... all of the Pokemon RPs would get to about 60-80 posts and then just die inexplicably.
Also as a side note, my sleeping pills are super kicking in. I'm probably going to go lay down... might reply more tonight, might not. If I do, I might sound even crazier and incoherent than I already am. If that's possible.... >_>;
I would probably have to lurk around the NRPs to see how they're done here, and if it's something I would be interested in. It's not a hard no. Same with arena I guess then o-o! I might be up for it. Fighting can be fun, I most recently lead a Gym Battle for my RP-buddy on Reddit, and it was pretty awesome. On the flip side I had one FFVII RP turn out horribly when someone decided to god-mode kill an entire sector's worth of people.
