Yeah, that's a good idea. I'm holding back a bit until the guild sorts itself out more (it doesn't help that it seems to go down every time I try to post something OC). The only reason that I'm thinking of doing a sort of restart (granted, it would essentially start the same way because we have everything if we want to use it) is because a new game on a new site with so much pre-established stuff is a hard sell.

Agreed. Nut nothing would really be thrown away. All of our posts have been saved and we can pretty much pick back up where we left off, if we chose, eliminating some of the stuff from people who are no longer here, more or less it'd be a soft reboot. And believe me, this is the last thing I want. That's why I'm sitting back a bit and seeing what happens with this site.

I have all my posts and character sheets backed up on their own word files. There might be some minor differences between what I have and what has been posts (I sometimes make edits after I pasted the post into the submit box), but more or less I have all my posts. 42 pages (Arachne) + 32 pages (Iron Knight) + 98 pages (Raptor) = pages of posts. Gosh, I can't imagine the size of the document that contains all the posts and character sheets. :o

The document with the posts is 741 pages. CS doc is a WIP

I personally would rather wait and see the results of Mahz's code changes that he has promised. I think how fast Mahz gets up the test server should set the bar on how patient we should be. If he gets the test server up in the next couple weeks, I say we weather the storm (we have already gone through a couple months of this, we can wait a couple weeks).

I agree. However, I am being cautious as well. I'm working on backing up the entire game, every. single. post. IC anyhow, and then all the CS's as well. That way if we do end up having to move, even though it would probably be a reboot for the sake of attracting players on the new site, we still have everything in case people want to continue with what they've been doing.

So, here's hoping that the site stays up with the work that is being put into it. It still seems a bit slow, but I know that the Powers that be is working on it. I may even try to get a post up tomorrow
