A gun shot obviously aimed at her, but thanks to the weird angle she held her sword, it struck the sheath and ricocheted off. Croma knew she wouldn’t get a second chance, so she took the opening created by the other very strange prisoner, she rolled forward, picking up the man she knocked out and turned his unconscious body around using him as a shield. Kicking her meat shield forward into the rifleman Croma lunged herself past him readying her weapon to swing at the pistol wielders swinging her sword so she could strike in a diagonal position aiming to knock the metal sheath right into their Adam’s apples.
If it weren’t for that yell Croma might have not noticed the pirate barreling her way with a large double headed Ax, thankfully she did and it allowed her to dodge him jumping further back against the wall. She readied her sword and tried to draw it only to hear a familiar *Clank clank* sound of Kichi refusing to come out. With Kichi refusing to fight yet again this left Croma with only one real choice, to use her special brand of sword play; getting into a ‘Ko Gasumi’ stance where the sword is raised above one’s head, tilted at a jaunty angle and staring down the enemy. Twisting her body forward, she swung her sword backwards and then right up again under the pirate aiming for his entire lower jaw, because shes been forced to exclusively train with her sword in her sheath combined with the fact the sheath itself is obnoxiously heavy her basic strikes tend to carry the same force that’s expected.
“Unsheathe style – Rising river!” She called out every motion she made was fluid.
Croma finally got the lock open and pushed her cell door to walk out, looking down at her fellow prisoners having completely ignored their conversation for the most part, an unavoidable side effect from being focused her brain caught her up with the topic fast enough. Raising one eyebrow the samurai woman was slightly confused, didn’t they want freedom until she noticed the bars to the prison felt like the metal skeleton of her sheath, sea prism. If they were joking around because they couldn’t leave anyway, like she was then that would explain it, Croma walked over and grabbed her sword she turned to face both of them and attempted to unsheathe it with the sword facing them only to hear a loud ‘clank’, Kichi would not be drawn thus resulting in a loud sigh.
“Nobles are all one of two categories, old or ugly sometimes both why would you want an ugly woman as a master?” She asked light heartedly figuring she owed them on the count of if Kichi had drawn she’d have murdered these two without a second thought.
Swinging her still sheathed sword the swordswoman shattered the lock into pieces causing the door to open freely, “I’d say we focus on escaping… I don’t know what to do about the sea prism shackles guess one of them out there has a key?” Croma continued talking her voice cracking being extremely thirsty and her stomach began to growl like a starving beast all over again
For all intents and purposes to avoid conflict Kichi (Croma's sword) will never be drawn (Unless really strong enemy appears) i think its just better that way XD
Croma walked up and down her prison cell going over the day’s events, being that she passed out there wasn’t much of meditate over rolling her eyes at her own lapse in judgement she had passed out again because she forgot to take care of her body again. Her stomach was growling so loud and made her uncomfortable just as much as it did everyone else cringe with just how painful it sounded but first things first, escaping. Thankfully, she wasn’t handcuffed or even restrained in any way but her sword was taken from her apparently and although she could see it she couldn’t reach it. Picking up a sharp pick like rock and began to file it down to a sharp point until it was enough that she could begin picking away at the lock to her cage looking up at the cell window hoping no one caught her before she was out.
“hmm” she hummed little her lock picking skills a little rusty but it should work out…maybe
“nature has an order a power to restore balance….I am that power”
Sol is the older sister of Soma and the first born child of their father Nellph, Sol for the most part had the same events in her childhood as her sister being that the two were inseparable no matter how much trouble they got into. Sol swore to the gods she would fight the entire world if she had to prove her strength, typical ramblings of a child where the only person who would entertain them were her sister and father. As she grew, she started to have these strange dreams of a faraway land, it would always start the same out of body and rapidly approaching a forest, but she’d never get to that forest before waking up but ever closer each night. It wasn’t long before it wasn’t just a dream anymore, she would receive flashes of that place just from blinking, it was consuming her every thought the desire to figure out the issue and find out if there was really something more to this. It was only a matter of time before she left the village, leaving behind a map telling her family not to worry.
Sol wasn’t like her sister; she didn’t explore from a burning curiosity to learn all there was she also wasn’t ok with getting lost, fortunately she never was although it may have seemed that way. Her dreams and visions were her map and they pointed her in the correct direction, guiding her to each town, village and city, there was always a place for her to rest after a long hike as if something was purposefully taking care that she didn’t kill herself in the process of the journey. It seemed like she had walked halfway across the world itself being pulled by some unseen strings that guided her, but a gut feeling just confirmed this was the right path so continued to walk she did all the way until her body collapsed in the middle of the road only to reawaken at Rexicorg.
Here…. this was it, everything down to her very dna told her this was what she was searching for and so tired and hungry her body picked itself up and walked further down the rabbit hole. She stumbled into a chamber half dazed and delirious Sol continued to pick herself up and go deeper, she may very well have been on the edge of death when she found the chamber holding the item that called out to the girl to grab and so without hesitation, she crawled her broken body to the center of the room, forced herself to stand up and claim her prize but you see this was only the beginning. Upon touching the idol, she was shown the true nature of the object a totem of worship in service to the gods; power flowed through her body revitalizing that which was once badly beaten with new life. Sol came to understand her role in life when she woke up and left the temple nearly five years later, after training her mind, body and soul, the balance of power was starting to unnaturally shift and she saw fit to restore order unaware of the string that were actually still guiding her.
Personality: Sol has been and probably always will be that kid walking around with a chip on her shoulder looking to get it knocked off. Always ready for a fight, she isn’t a bully but very adamant about showing she’s no push over, ready to dig her heels into the dirt and show just how stubborn she really is when it comes to a challenge or obstacle. Sol is a goal driven and straight forward person unlike her sister who can be shrewd at times, Sol is quick to let you know exactly where you stand with her not wanting to keep anything hidden, this little trait makes it so she is completely incapable of keeping secrets.
Her tome takes the form of the totem she found in Rexicorg, a very large very heavy object that glows green when invoked. This artifact allows Sol (With a little bit of preying) to summon the old gods to her material world using her very soul as bait to lure them from their homes, currently there are four gods she can effectively ask for help from without being devoured herself.
Othros god of the ocean: An Eldritch god whose abomination of an appearance prohibits it from manifesting itself into an actual physical state, instead it allows Sol to summon tentacles around the field as an extension of herself, these monstrous things stretch to a maximum of fifteen feet slamming along the ground near an enemy or coiling around it to choke them out. Destroying one will directly affect Sol and hurt her tremendously as well.
Rhosalth god of fire: The only god that can be completely pulled through the void but because of its massive size its soul devours Sol completely and mutates her body as a physical manifestation of its body. Sol is transformed into a juggernaut of burning destruction spewing consuming flames from her mouth she can’t really control herself to much in this form and will pass out after a short time after using it for several hours.
Other: Sol has to prey for literally everything she does from attacking to using the bathroom Sol's hair is blond like her sister using her abilities changes its color
