Hissing could be heard behind the glutton and the earth magical girl it was low pitch and barely noticeable but it gnawed away at your subconscious constantly pestering with the fact it was actually there and the annoying part was that it seemed to be coming literally everywhere yet nowhere the source couldn’t be placed. The ominous feeling of being watched could send a chill up a spine for both magical girl and demon alike but then all at once it stopped but the feeling of being watched was still ever present. Hissy moved unseen and nearly unheard through the darkness she didn’t want to interfere with them, just watch with great interest the magical girl walked through the legs of greed and accept her embrace something that was extremely strange considering the little ones are supposed to be warry of demons like Greed here.

Her brow raised and she had to hold in a laugh as the earth one prepared to show a direct jab at the demon. The fact that this was going to happen was an obvious this and she wondered how the demon didn’t suspect this outcome.

“They just don’t make em like they used too huh” Hissy thought to herself

Personality: Hissy isn’t most demons she likes to play the long game with her victims, shrewd and calculating Hyestia thinks life itself is one big game of chess. When speaking, she does so in a calm way, letting each word just flow off her long tongue her words can cut deeper than any sword could showing she can be extremely cold towards magical girls and fellow demons. She is also different from other demons in the fact she has a clear need to meditate while waiting for something to happen to plot out her next course of action or just to clear her head.

Powers:
Hypnotic suggestion / Hypnotism: Hissy’s eyes are strange, at first glance they appear to be regular eyes of a snake, but the more one looks at them you could swear that they turn into spirals and spin at strange harmonizing intervals and compel the beholder to keep staring. Hissy can use this ability to hypnotize victims to plant hypnotic suggestions into the poor things subconscious and send them back out with no memory to watch them unknowingly accomplish her agenda. She can also toy with someone’s sense of been changing their perception of reality in whatever was she sees fit. The best way to avoid this is to just not look into her eyes or at least avoid prolonged eye to eye contact as she needs to have undivided attention for at least five seconds to compel continued staring.

Serpent physiology: Hissy’s body is at least part snake thus giving her the abilities of a snake as proportional someone her size including but not limited to, camouflage, due to the constricting power of certain snakes Hestia’s physical prowess is heightened, mild poison generation, dermal and Exo scale armor creation.

Sentinel hatchling: Hyestia’s entire body creates snakes from magic and allows them to live in a coexisting way within her body or anyone else allowing her to communicate or locate anyone therein, however, they have to be exchanged mouth to mouth as the snakes cannot live outside of a body for more than a few seconds.

Hydra: The only offensive thing Hissy knows is the ability to partly summon four heads of her pet hydra when one head is damaged or killed the portal closes and she has to take some time to reopen it for another to work its way through.

History:

Back when mankind was still trying to work its way through the evolutionary process, there was a forest none of the primitives would go near as nothing that went into hunt ever came out. One tribe lived on the outer edge of the forest itself, there young would wander in ignoring their parent’s warnings as all little ones do only to never come back as they had feared. This happened so much they were forced to leave, but not before the chief’s daughter was spirited away, the decision to send all their hunters to track down the girl would prove ultimately the worst decision of their short lived primitive lives. It was broad daylight and the hunters pressed deeper into the forest with no real success at finding the girl… or anything for that matter.

No wildlife could be seen in a lush, dense forest this place didn’t seem to have a single animal inside the quiet was completely unsettling. One of them spotted what looked like the girl and alerted the others, they pressed forward running through the brush to catch up eventually but the girl was vacant and pale as if she had been a walking corpse. The trees started to rustle all around them and got closer, the girls face curled up into a smile as she looked behind the group when they turned to face the source of the nightmare beheld a massive python stretching endlessly until its body reaches up into the tress

“Gotcha” The girl said in unison with the snake……..

Croma continued to eat ripping into the food till there was nothing left even taking upon herself to suck the bone a little trying to get what more nourishment she could and sighing in contentment, still hungry but it would tide her over for a while. Listening to the woman talk explaining her situation admittedly she didn’t know anything about how she got in that cell as she merely woke up there. “I’m looking for the captain I wish to check something, ” she said, her hand wrapped around the handle of Kichi “As well as pay them back for putting me in a cage” Croma finished picking at the plate making sure she didn’t miss anything and leaned back.

“I don’t know exactly how I got there all I remember is being hungry and passing out on my boat, then I wake up in the cell, ” she recalls her ears perking up with Zypha mentioned paying her back and immediately remembered she had no money “I have no coin of my own but I will certainly try to pay you back”

‘Let’s see we have watersports the video game, rocks…. Excuse me pebbles for brains and diabetes’ Saryn thoughts echoed as she continued to insult the other magical girls as she was never fond of the magical rejects in Japan especially those so called friends Nelly has in Akihabara. ‘Be nice’ Nelly thought back stepping forward ignoring the one called Terra Breaker and accepting a treat from the chocolatier “Thank you” She said kindly taking a cookie and taking a bite out of it ‘OK well the chocolate factory has a gift’ Saryn admitted her voice ringing a lot lower toned than it was previously ‘Anyway give me control you’re too defensive to fight demons’ she yelled ‘no you willingly released your hold to me, it’s my turn’ Nelly explained running forward and using the stolen strength from the now dead demon launched herself high into the air and bounced off one of the birds.

Nelly continued to jump higher and higher any attack made by the birds were deflected quickly until the extra energy was depleted, but it didn’t matter as she made it to the heart of the swarm. Holding in her arms in a praying fashion to use her illumination ability which was essentially a demon purge skill, though it killed them in a very non-violent way quick and painless. She was shining like a small star in the sky, though it wasn’t as bright as it could have been being that it was bright already outside. The flock of demonic birds turned into a massive dust cloud and Nelly began to fall passing up the Terra Breaker in her descent. ‘Yea beat that you tectonic looser’ Saryn shouted ‘Not even remotely funny’ Nelly replied in her own thoughts.

She could barely see as her mind faded in and out of consciousness, she certainly didn’t know she was being carried around but soon enough she did understand the sensation of being sat down and even better yet….. food. Croma woke up just enough to catch the glimpse of salted meat it had a faint smell thus hinting at the fact it wasn’t actually prepared, but in her hunger induced state of mind she couldn’t have cared less. Grabbing the food and began to shovel the sustenance down her throat like a woman possessed, with one hand as the other still firmly gripped her sword. The more she ate the more her old self came back right down to that uncomfortable bloodlust that seemed to pour from her body, the swordswoman stopped and looked at Zypha her first instinct told her to try and open Kichi but she remembered already trying that before passing out.

“I am in your debt ma’am, ” she finally said
