Gamera put her hands on her hips and watched as Kong left in an apparent attempt to create as much distance between her as possible but she knew he’d be back. Shaking her head, she was about to make her way to Tokyo bay herself when someone tapped on her shoulder signaling her to turn around. Thinking it was another earth defending Kaiju her face was lit up when she turned to greet the stranger, but that smile quickly dropped at the realization that this was a Mech and not just any the famous Gipsy Danger. She didn’t know much about the other robots because this was far beyond her when she was created in Atlantis, she knew it was possible, but never actually got to know one; in fact, the only mechs she knew were quite evil from both her side of the tracks and Godzilla’s. Gamera sighed a little and put her hand up to stop the woman from talking right then taking a deep breath and then starting to talk.

“I know who you are Gipsy you’re quite famous for doing a lot of good things in this world, but let’s get this out of the way, I don’t trust you by instinct no offense because I don’t know you, but the first real Mecha I’ve met was that abomination humans created from the first Godzilla’s cells. That being said what's happening off the shore of Tokyo you should know their Kaiju you’ve dealt with before, Otachi” She explained, taking a step back looking very serious at Gipsy “I want to believe you’re not like that Frankenstein creation, so if you wish to come with me to scope out the issue I’d like you to stay in front of me, nothing personal but hunting my kind is in your job description” Gamera spoke her peace as she was known to do and sighed again

Her title was the savior of children or the guardian of the universe, but those weren’t her intended purpose at all, she was in charge of keeping the balance between everything on the planet. Mindless feral Kaiju threaten to tip the balance by preying on the humans and other creatures so she has been known to stop them this unintentionally earning her nicknames; If humans tip the balance of nature, she wouldn’t hesitate to curb them as well they’ve come so very close in the past.

The sound of an object crashing to the surface repeatedly could be heard around specific areas of Tokyo, Japan before quickly disappearing all together only to be heard somewhere else completely different. No one could actually find out where the sound was coming from but the loud thump it made caused quite the short trimmer, under normal circumstances this wouldn’t be happening at all but she was having a nasty craving for a chocolate vanilla swirl her usual choice in ice cream. Ever since she took this humanoid form she has developed a sweet tooth that couldn’t be controlled, this has caused her too frequent every candy store, ice cream shop and chocolate factory in all of Tokyo repeatedly. The constant thumps were being caused by her leaping over buildings and crashing down in dark alleyways to avoid being seen, in her Kaiju form she could fly with her shell, but while in this more human state she seemed to only be able to jump really high and make a controlled crash so to speak. The fall didn’t hurt her for obvious reasons, but she did leave an impact creator everywhere she went like this, the whole not being able to fly thing was getting really old really fast.

Finally, she touched down in front of the Sweet Cream, Ice Cream Parlor and entered in a huge rush, despite being a giant among normal height women and being fifty-one she looked amazingly young like she could be a high school girl.

“I’m in a rush, I’ll take the usual!” She yelled, startling the workers who had just dealt with the eighth wonder himself.

Thankfully something as ambiguous as saying ‘the usual’ was understood and she had her sweet treat in minutes, while she was waiting however her nose twitched as she smelled another Kaiju. Looking around it wasn’t hard to find the most non-human looking human on the block with more gains than an entire gym put together.

“Ay, Kong!” she shouted

“I’ll be back to get that in a second, ” she said, dropping the money to pay for her guilty pleasure

Because she was created to stop rampaging Kaiju she had an in-depth knowledge of most of them as well as the ability to detect and locate them like a sixth sense. Once she was within earshot of him she dropped the preppy girl act instantly.

“Something big is happening off the shore” she said, standing in front of him “It's big and I know it’s coming soon, I can feel it, I know you don’t care much for the protecting till it’s your problem, but, let’s think of it as you’re protecting that blond woman in there from possible harm” she explained putting her hands on her hips jutting her nonexistent chest out.

Personality: Gamera's desire to protect is legendary and known throughout the world, always on the front lines shouldering and taking everything anyone can throw at her. Very adamant about showing she's no pushover ready, to dig her heels into the dirt and show just how stubborn she really is, when it comes to a challenge or obstacle. Gamera is a very straight forward individual letting you know quick exactly where you stand with her and not wanting to keep anything hidden, she is in fact nearly incapable of keeping secrets. She is very intelligent for a Kaiju thinking up plans to defeat enemies, preferring to figure out different ways to combat a situation this trait is undermined a most of the time by her ‘front line’ mentality.

At her core she wants to protect those in need and may come off just a little bit conceded being sure in herself and her abilities she can’t resist a damsel in distress nor can she ignore anyone genuinely asking for help this being said she is slow to trust and has little friends she also has a nasty habit of holding grudges for a very long time. She always believes people have a hidden agenda or something they aren’t tell right off the bat; this way of thinking has probably curved her personality to be unneededly forthcoming.

History: A bioengineered 'Guardian of the universe' created by Atlantis to defend them against another one of their bioengineered weapons called the Gyaos a flying experiment gone wrong. Things didn't go so well for Atlantis in the end, however Gamera was a success and left for the future generations in case the human killer Gyaos should ever come back. The year was 1995 when A ship carrying plutonium collides with a floating atoll off the eastern coast of the Philippines, one of many incidents occurring throughout the area. As the anomalous formation approaches Japan, a team of scientists led by Naoya Kusanagi. During the investigation, the atoll suddenly quakes, destroying the slab and throwing the scientists into the ocean. One member of the team, Marine Officer Yoshinari Yonemori, sees the eye and tusk of a giant turtle. At the same time an ornithologist was investigating a village that was apparently attacked by a ‘giant bird’. While at first skeptical of the claims the researcher discovered what looked to be human remains in a bird pellet (droppings).

It wasn’t until later that the Kaiju known as Gyros was identified as these giant bird like creatures, this discovery was possible with aid of special runes and texts found from Atlantis itself; a be it they were merely chicks at the time. To prevent further attacks, the government decided on capturing the the giant birds. The creatures were lured to the Fukuoka Dome baseball stadium, where two of the three are successfully captured. The last one escapes to the harbor, where she is killed by the giant turtle encountered by the scientists. The remaining birds escape before the turtle reaches the stadium. Thanks to the same text, it was revealed the giant turtle was Gamera a sort of guardian or defense system to counteract the Gyaos but because of the damage she caused Gamera was treated as a threat. It took some time, but eventually all the bird monsters were taken care of, leaving only Gamera left standing tall like the mountain.

Powers/Abilities:

Melting Furnaces: Gamera can ingest coal, oil, fire, magma and uranium and they are sent here to be burned.

Thermal Energy Conversion Intestines: This is where burned material is converted into thermal energy.

Plasma Fireball

High Fever Muscles: Gamera's muscles can produce ten thousand times the force of any human and can withstand high temperatures (High Fever), more so than any conventional metal and are very durable.

Shell: Gamera's shell is known for it invulnerability, the only known time it has been breached was by Guiron, who struck the same place over and over again. Her underbelly does not have this resistance however.

Thermal Energy Conversion reactor (Plasma Conversion Furnace): Gamera's blood can absorb heat, flames, high voltage current and nuclear fuel. These energies are converted into electrons, protons and atomic nuclei and stored as plasma energy to be used. Life energy from the Earth, Mana, can be converted as well. The power of the total release of Plasma is unknown.

Flight

Vanishing Fist: A one time shot where she envelopes her fist with all the thermal energy shes absorbed into one devastating punch.

Kaiju Transformation: Gamera's Transformation turns her into her 55 meter tall turtle like self
