Backstory: He was an apprentice over a hundred years ago, he became a master faster than the other apprentices, people was saying he was a magic prodigy, but it was something more simple than that... he was cursed long ago during his training, a curse that inplants something inside of him, something powerful with magic, allowing him to be better and more powerful magic user... yet something that will try to break free, and if it does could do harm to many people. arowne97, blackcat, and shadowventus, I think you all have misunderstood the idea... Talent is just the magic type, when they start learning are better at. They can learn ALL TYPES of magic, just one or two types will come easier to learn when it's time to learn it. They can't have a backstory about using magic or learning magic because this entire rp is for that purpose, when they meet their master, and he finds them determined and everything, he will unlock the magic within them with a ritual, which will allow them to control magic, but it wont be immediately they will have to learn to control the magic, all he did was unlock the path for it. so basically none of them can do anything when it comes to magic until after he unlocks the path for the magic to go through them. booksmusicanime been a while I believe lol, your and XxLyraxX's characters are accepted, they follow the guideline of the rp I wanted. though I will say booksmusicanime, please reread your talent.. it's contradicting itself lol. saying her talent is fire type magics and then saying their weaker than her fire magics..... kind of contradicting from what I read lol. slendy I am bit confused on yours, mainly because of how it's stated including with 'Other'. I can understand his will be good at magic that involves bending space, aka teleportation, and other magics related to bending space, which there isn't much. In Modern times, Magic has had an impact on many people, Now a-days when a person is deemed ready by their parents they are given a choice, go to work with their parents or find something else to work for. There was tales of a Master of Magic near the town, living an a supposed 'abandoned castle' in the forest. Those who wished to become his apprentice their first challenge would be to find him, the second would be to survive reaching the castle. Only then after testing their determination would they begin their training, Training to become a master of magic.
