Blue rolled her at the proceedings yawning absently. When the other hired gun made the snide remarks she merely raised an eyebrow and flipped him the bird.

And then the final showed up. Cocking her head to the side, she looked at the reptile as the handler left. Mhmm. What did he remind her of?

"Mhmm, you remind me of a couple times I had Targets come running to me from swamps and shit. Crocodiles are alright by me, for that. Though maybe you were the Croc each time? Mhmm." She walked over to the beast, running a hand along his lower jaw. If he tried to snap she could stop him. Everyone knew a child could hold their mouths shut if they tried. Right? Mhmm. Oh well. "Well, I think we'll get along just fine, at least, big guy."

With that she flashed a smile to Mieke and the others before sitting down cross legged next to Hogan. "Can we wrap up, then?"

Rain huffed to herself, pleased at the results, and even more pleased at the message. A quick glance up and she still had time to try and figure something better out, though....

When suddenly she noted a Pixie coming over from the main group and casting a shield on her. No no no no, that wouldn't do.

"Appreciated, friend, but I can't risk being seen by that shimmer. Remove the spell, please, at least until I'm actively engaged in combat. I use stealth skills, and being twinkly won't help me right now. I'm counting to ten before I continue with my practice, so please remove it now." Her tone was short, but earnest, as she made her request to the little guy.

And he was already gone. Fucker. Well.

Looking around, she picked up a small rock in her mouth and thew it above her, letting it come falling down upon her. She'd repeat the process as necessary until the shield disappeared.

Using that time to draw breath before collecting venom, she held her breath while she filled her maw.

She'd copy that last attempt, but this time she didn't need to breath in and almost choke on her own venom!
Alice

Alice grinned at Jacques, watching with hungry eyes as he brought out his Rhyperior. Walking up to it slowly as it checked the floor, she reached out a hand in offer for pets / rubs and friendship.

"You're insane, Rhyperior. I hope one day we can have a great Battle together and have lots of fun!" She smiled brightly, turning her head slightly as everyone began to shuffle outside. She hesitated at the door, last, while looking between Jacques and Rhyperior.

"Uhm...." she said softly in confusion. She didn't want to leave the big guy alone inside, but she didn't want to miss this Battle. "I'll win real fast and come give you company, okay?" she told the Pokemon with a small smile.

One for each of them, and they all seemed confident. Mhmm. They had more actual experience than anyone here in the Professor's group, technically speaking. And Skylar was blind...

"Hey Skylar, wanna team up for a double battle against that Simon and Vivia?" she asked loudly enough for the others to hear. "It'll be fun!"
Jason

Jason watched impassively while the decisions were made before he stood back up while the meeting was concluding.

Stopping more than an arms distance away from Creep, he nodded once before leaning down closer to the villain. "I know what you're probably thinking," he said quietly. "No debt. Get yourself people you trust and put out word for me if you need advice. This game can be...." he glanced back at Broker and then the bartender before continuing. ".... Trying. Be smarter than Ceramix was. We need the Rockers working right to stop Patriarch, and you've proven capable tonight. Let me know if I can help."

He nodded again before straightening up, giving Creep a chance to reply before going back to sit next to Whimsy.

Lillian blushed as the soft, warm lips met her cheek, a shudder running up her spine. Together they walked towards Inkscape, Lillian's steadiness returning somewhat as she stood warily in waiting. But Ink seemed in a fine mood, he'd even commended them!

She could hear the conversation Mastar going on, and she raised an eyebrow in surprise. The girl had been offered a spot before? Why would her parents block her from joining?

"It's crazy what happens when your senses go funny," Lillian murmured. "I don't think I need anything though. It's clearing up already." she trailed off as she leaned against Messiah. She vaguely remembered reading something about ears and balance, but she couldn't recall what that had been about. Maybe in a first aid class? Or maybe it was just power overload. It wasn't like she could turn her senses off....

....poor Sonar. If this was even a fraction of what he was going through....

She resolved to pay him a visit in the coming days. He might not have been her leader, but he was still a Ward.

And Margrave. Her eyes rested on him momentarily as she realized how alone he always was. Just because boys were icky didn't mean she should be ignoring a teammate.

"There's a couple people I need go see after this."

She remained quiet during the rush of reporters, sticking a smile on her face and directing all questions to Inkscape.
Alice

Alice nodded along to the Professor's answers, making sure to make a physical note in her Pokedex's Note section (that was so cool!) so she wouldn't forget the location in the elusive Beldum that had captured her dreams nearly as much as the Elite Four.....

She looked at the door in surprise, her mouth dropping open, before she jumped to her feet with Cici in her arms and running over to the door. "Jacques! What's the arguably most powerful member of the Elite Four doing here? Did you bring you Mr Rhyperior? Ohmygosh I've been following you and the others for-ev-er and I remember just a little while ago you took on that Challenger and ohhhhhh! That Thunder Fang in the rain was really cool, and then I noticed it. Your team is fast. Like dodging all the Water Pumps before that and then your Weavile avoiding that guy's Hariyama like a champ and the reaction time of your Rhyperior was just....wow. Launching into the air via a Hammer Arm into a Rock Wrecker? I couldn't believe it, and the guy certainly couldn't either!" She paused long enough to draw breath before continuing.

"But... I'm gonna come for you one day! And Cici too! And I'll make that smug look you always give trainers go away because I'm going to beat you! Because you help a lot but you're too arrogant and there's always more we can do!" she finished earnestly, her face flushed with excitement while she bounced a little. "Remember the name Alice, because it's getting engraved on your walls one day!"

Hugging Cici she stepped back, practically vibrating with excitement. She could hardly concentrate on anyone but this magnificent trainer and Professor, two of the greatest people she'd known about.

And then came the challenge.

"Bring them on! Cici and I are ready to show we're on the path to the Champion!" She exclaimed with a fist pump while her Horsea let out an excited "Sea!"

This was progress. Not the greatest progress she could hope for, but it was still progress. She really wasn't confident that this gas would be damaging or poisonous, but it was a start.

She supposed that getting her venom related abilities upgraded might give her more potency, but she still needed a way to give this more range. Could she perhaps combine it with something like fire for now oompf? But she didn't have a fireball skill yet, let alone any available fire herself...

Speaking of fire, the torches were drawing near. The others had started to notice as well, and this was about to become a warzone. Should she try and hammer out a skill real quick, or prepare completely for her ambush?

Argh, why did these bastards have to be so troublesome?

Hopefully the darkness and this makeshift camo would work for her...

One last test before she prepared her ambush, then.

Filling her maw with venom, she opened her mouth sightly to allow air to enter and react with the venom without losing it all through the gap. Taking a deep breath she exhaled as forcefully as she could, jerking her head upwards while releasing more venom. If this didn't provide an effect she'd really need to reconsider her approach....
@Demon Shinobi Ah, no, don't remove Metronome. In fact, I look forward to you using it. rubs hands together XD

Same. XD
Alice

Alice was a bright shade of pink by the time the Professor opened the door, having gratefully accepted the boy's help in getting back on her feet with a squeaky thanks. Her hands instinctively began twirling her hair as the woman mildly admonished her, muttering a quick "Y-yes, ma'am."

Following the two inside6, along with the Xatu she believed belonged to the boy, she stood back awkwardly as introductions were made, giving a small wave while she listened. Accepting the Pokedex quietly with a studdered thanks, she waited.

She still couldn't believe it. Her very first Pokemon was about to be given to her.

And then in a flash a bubble of water expanded and she saw her. A Horsea! Her breath, which she hadn't realized she had been holding, whooshed out as she dropped to her knees next to the little Pokemon. Slowly she reached out, letting the adorable little thing have the chance to reject her, before a huge grin broke out on her face as it touched its head to her hand. "Oh!" she exclaimed softly, gently stroking its neck. It didn't feel like anything was there! She felt like she read something about that once....

The Pokedex asked for a nickname to which she considered momentarily. "We'll be great friends, won't we Cici?"

Pulling Cici onto her lap, she looked at the other trainers with an apologetic smile. "This is amazing..." she said quietly. "There's so much I want to do...."

She really wasn't sure how to respond to the two, as starstruck as she was with Cici, so instead she turned her attention back to the Professor. "Uhm....I actually wanted to know what Gym you recommend as a first goal? It'll be a while before we're ready but... And have you ever heard of a little guy called Beldum? I've kinda always been obsessed with them. Oh! And what should I feed Cici? And what about the others?" She looked down as her face burned pink again, scratching lightly underneath Cici's jaw.

Blue slipped the card into her cleavage, slipping the man a sly wink. He probably didn't see it, what with that odd fanboyism going on.

Oh well. There would be time for that later.

She saw the receptionist, of whom she'd long forgotten about, move and she gave Mieke one last pat before she stood up as the woman waved them through.

The door paused momentarily, causing Blue's face to flicker with annoyance before she sauntered into the room. Hopping up to sit on the corner of the desk, she crossed her legs and spun her scythe staff lazily a few times until the man started talking.

He mentioned her Employer nigh immediately, to which she just shrugged. He'd already told her to cooperate with these people. So she technically worked for this Foundation? That was.... Intriguing. A quick mental note to contact her Employer about this later.

As he began to explain Stands and this epidemic, she leaned back to look at him better, lazily flicking her hand and having Paralyzer appear next to her.

"Mhmm, yes. Though in my case I was born with my dear Paralyzer. We've been inseparable, all the more so since the Foundation began utilizing my particular skillset to make people go dead," her voice trailed out silkily. And then her eyes narrowed as the no-kill order was given. In an instant she was on her feet, palms slamming into the desk as her staff was flicked through the air before landing in her outstretched hand. "You want me, killer of hundreds, destroyer of the wretched who prey upon the weak, defiler of sick bastards, TO NOT KILL at all? Are you fucking inept? I don't sleep except once every several months, I don't stop, I don't get detected except when I let myself be, and you wanted me to - to - to play babysitter? To give soup to the dying? Oh! Or maybe the woman who's singlehandedly pulled out someone's intestines to hang them by can become a cute little perky nun and bathe the motherfucking destitute! That sounds like a fucking brilliant plan, bravo." With a huff she claimed as sarcastically as she could while she turned around, displeasure all over her face.

"At least I have a colorful group to engage with. This won't be a complete waste of my talents. And I'm sure you three will be miles more entertaining than this meeting has turned out to be." In a blink her and her Stand were across the room, where she was tapping her foot impatiently.

"Can't believe I woke up for a fucking no-kill order," she muttered angrily.

While she waited, Blue thought back to the last time she had been awake. Memories were odd things, really, striking a fancy whenever they pleased.

That time had been a short segment of her life, she'd only been awake for about 40 days before she'd clocked out for a while. But there had been a lot of waiting around then, too. The Mark had been crafty, a challenge, and her Employer wanted evidence of something or another. Probably important but whatever it was she couldn't remember it.

And then this woman walked in, all full of beautiful sadness. Practically palpable, really. She brought on another surge of memories, from a time when she'd gotten in 6 Marks before it was time to sleep.

"Please, please don't kill me! I didn't know, I didn't mean nuthin, it wasn't my fault! Tell your boss I'll pay! I promise! Just - just put that fucking Scythe down! Please!" the man begged.

That had been a disaster.... For him. He had irritated her with all the fucking begging and attempted deal making. God damn trash, so pathetically weak he hadn't been worth the 3 hours of torture before she killed him.

Her smirk smoothly transitioned into a wide smile as the woman greeted her. She was about to reply when another entered, a big block of a man. Ah, now that was a man. She could imagine how his body would break with a few....key..... Stabs. Ah, those ones were always the best. Thinking themselves mountains and gods among mortals, and a little thing like herself slashed them down in minutes.

Their fear was delicious.

Now this one introduced himself. Arthur. Not one she'd heard about, but then again why keep up on this 'wrestling' thing when her awake time was better spent chasing Marks?

Though she did wonder if this way that same 'wrestling' that she'd overheard mothers telling children after being caught fornicating with their husbands late at night while she prowled the rooftops? Mhmm. She would address that momentarily, first the little -

Ah. Well, the third had chosen that time to enter, causing her to frown in irritation. Couldn't they give her a chance to address everyone? How could she slide her way through their brains if they weren't giving her time?

Ahh. Now he caught her eye. A subtle flair, a sense of power. If she had to guess he'd be a paid man, perhaps one enjoying the Art like herself? Mhmm. He deserved a deeper look.

He reminded her a little of that one misguided fool who had attempted to kill her. A reverse game of cat and mouse, that had been. A little bit of intrigue. She'd decided to honor that man, actively using her little pet. He had seen it, though whatever abilities he possessed had been entirely inferior to her own. A shame, that. But alas, not everyone could be interesting.

He recognized this 'wrestler', however. A bit of fanboyism, it seemed, from a time past.

Oh well, before anyone else could interrupt she closed her scythe with a flourish, her eyes lighting up excitedly as she preformed an elaborate bow, her staff clicking the ground for emphasis.

"Ahhh, such wonderful people. A pretty little lady, a big strong man, and...." she paused, letting her smile turn back into a smirk, "...a fellow of unquestionable taste. I am Blue, and my talents shall become clear in time. I hope this arrangement shall prove.... Interesting."

She settled in on the arm of the young women's chair, lightly brushing against her arm. "I must say, I absolutely adore your hair. I think we'll get along just fine."
