I don't know how much caffeine I've just injested and I'm pretty sure it was all a mistake.

I think so, but I'm not sure.
Tobit Broflovski

"...Marco, that's not that I said at all." Said Toby, sounding rather annoyed through his weak, rattling breaths. "I just said that I didn't want to take his inhaler in case I'm getting the flu or something, you know?" He was kind of slipping back into his aggressive mask, but was trying not to snap at anyone. Looking around, he seemed to have garnered some concern from the classroom. He flinched, not wanting to be the center of attention, especially if the cause of that was pity. He'd been pitied enough in his life, by teachers and classmates alike. It was even worse than getting bullied, in his opinion. Granted, he'd been bullied before. A lot. But still, getting beat up wasn't half as humiliating as being talked down to by a peer.

Toby sighed heavily, raising his hand and leaning out of his seat slightly to be seen behind Maria. Mrs. Wiley? Can I be excused to the bathroom, please? He asked quickly, trying not to break out coughing again. His entire chest hurt, and it felt like his airways were closing up. But the last thing he needed was for that to become more evident.

Birchmont, Minnesota

6:45 AM
It's been snowing off and on for the past two weeks, leaving about two feet of white on the grounds of the Birchmont Home. A narrow pathway is shoveled from the door of the old Victorian Era house to the front gates. A few lights have turned on on the upper floors of the building, indicating that a few early risers have awoken already.
The Birchmont Home is a private orphanage in northern Minnesota, United States of America. It houses children from birth to age 18, all of them from different backgrounds. Since there are a lot of children in a relatively small space, they share rooms of six kids each. The bedrooms are shared between boys and girls, but the bathrooms are separate.
The place is a bit low on funds and not very well equipped for emergencies. The building is over a century old, and falling apart in places. A lot of the staff members haven't had proper training and some of them even mistreat the kids. Clearly this place breaks a lot of state rules and regulations, but the authorities haven't closed it down yet. And besides, for about 200 kids, it's their only home.

Double Post, sorry!

Even more kids started to join the group, and with each new arrival Kyu Jin grew increasingly anxious. He hated crowds, and this was quickly becoming one. He fought to keep his face straight, chewing on his bottom lip to keep it from quivering. Another boy had joined their group, one whose name sounded very European. Some students really came from a long ways away to attend here. He thought he was foreign, being from South Korea, but some of these kids were coming from thousands of miles away, crossing continental borders. He was glad they all seemed to know Japanese, at least.

He remained silent, fiddling with a strand of his long white hair. If this group got any bigger, he decided he'd excuse himself to the bathroom and stay in there the rest of the class period. He really hated socializing.

The group was expanding a bit too much for Kyu Jin's comfort. He started chewing his knuckles, staying a ways away from the others. He never liked social interactions like this, but since this was a class he couldn't exactly excuse himself.

"I don't know." He said in Japanese to the girl with cotton candy pink hair who had just asked what they were supposed to be doing. "I arrived a bit late. I didn't catch the beginning of this class." He looked at her apologetically, then glanced back down at the ground, fidgeting around a bit. He pulled his map out of his pocket, reading through it to memorize the most convenient routes to the dorm, bathrooms and the cafeteria. He always did his best to prevent getting lost, since he was far to shy to ask for directions.

"I see." Said Kyu Jin, looking down. He still really felt like leaving. That brief interaction with Ender had left him very uncomfortable. But even so, there was nowhere for him to go, really. He couldn't just leave class. Maybe after this period was over, he'd head back to the dorm to cool off for a bit. He turned back to Meg to answer the question she'd asked him before Ender interrupted.
"Anyway, you're right. I don't live around here. I'm from Gwangju. You're not from around here either, right? Meg doesn't sound very Japanese..." He kept his voice quiet and devoid of emotion, almost robotic sounding. He forced a fake smile, not wanting to seem too cold or rude.

Name: Ciel Edward Wendell-Downing

Age: Died around the age of nine, almost ten.

Abstract: A cold, precocious musical prodigy riddled with paranoia.

Detail:
Ciel's father, Ciel Wendell-Downing II, was a notorious composer who rigorously trained his sons James and Ciel to be musical geniuses like himself. His mother was a singer his father hired often for his operas, and was thought to be one of the best in all of Sink. Ciel is the youngest child of his parents. He had a brother three years older than him named James. They were a wealthy household in one of the best cities in Roon, but death doesn't discriminate between the rich and the poor. Tuberculosis ravaged the city, and Ciel, young and sickly to begin with, lost his life alongside his mother.

Strengths
-He is very intelligent for his age and has a fast thought processing speed, being capable of solving problems much faster than other children. This might be part of his father's savant genetics.
-Despite being reclusive and somewhat sickly, Ciel is quite self-reliant and seems to hate asking for help.
-He is actually quite dexterous and has taken lessons in fencing and dueling.
-As aforementioned in the paragraph above, Ciel is very good with musical instruments. He can play piano, harpsichord, violin and dulcimer.

Flaws
-Ciel is a worried, paranoid boy who startles easily and trusts no one.
-Ciel never mastered speech, for whatever reason. He instead communicates with sign language, writing and occasionally Morse code.
-Ciel has anemia and hypoglycemia, diagnosed simply as having 'weak blood'. He tires easily and faints often.

-Spending time alone outdoors

-Practicing fencing

i'm in but only if i am allowed to judge on and comment about the sensibility of all this
for example, the existence of vampires is revealed through a single fuckin camera recording, in fucking 2066.
if vampires had ANY SORT of community and ANY amount of power over the world this'd be just dismissed as CGI editing or plainly an attack of some fucked up maniac, srsly.
For a society of any degree of secrecy to be uncovered the reveal must be thousands of times bigger than this

Agreed.
But at the same time, this still sounds like a fun RP. Count me in.
Just one more thing, though: Are vampires that have been turned between the ages of 10-15 or so allowed? I'm only 13 myself, so I have a hard time with characters older than 15.
