Hello I am Oll N

The name means nothing I just enjoy how it looks. I've lost my partner and I'm seeking a new one or maybe multiple ones. I know the title says a single partner but I'm also down with others if I find more than one plot I really enjoy. I like to think of myself as an open minded writer who likes to tackle all topics fairly. I have no problem with brutal fight scenes, tense dark scenes, steamy sex scenes or twisted things that leave you feeling strange after you read it. However I do not write smut or do smut-based RPs. I know some people enjoy that and I can write about sexual topics but don't fancy RPs based around that style. To ensure you read anything please title your reply with your favorite animal, color, game or musical artist. Another thing I'd like to express is that I want a partner who can create complex characters with purpose, motivation, flaws and desires. I want to build a world that feels real. I want to create something with someone not just Roleplay although that is a big part of it, I want to feel like I'm creating something. I hope you feel that as well.

Sky Kingdoms Online.

I've done RPs like this in the past, a setting where players are locked inside an MMOrpg. If you've ever seen Log Horizon, .Hack, Sword Art Online, Grimgar of Fantasy & Ash. It's a lot like them. In this world the humans live on floating kingdoms that drift among the clouds while the beasts are confined to the Labyrinth. The Labyrinth is a planet-sized multilevel structure designed much like one would think a place called the Labyrinth would be, large dank tunnels leading to all sorts of chambers and coves. Filled with beasts, monsters and terrors of every sort. The only thing these creatures live for is the desire to devour human flesh. As the legend goes, the first one to reach the center of the Labyrinth wins. What they win nobody knows for sure.

Power Rangers: End Times.

Inspired by this Short Movie which I recommend you watch to get a feel for the vibe I'm looking for. Basically it's a continuation/adaptation of that short movie. A little while after the first generation of Rangers came to a close, a new generation appeared trained by the only surviving Ranger Kimberly along with the help of a successor to Alpha-5. This new generation faces a second wave of assaults on humanity lead by Rita Repulsa. I have a couple ideas but nothing too concrete, so I'm up for some discussing about this plot.

Naruto.

I've always been a massive Naruto fan and I love doing Naruto RPs as long as people can keep up. Naruto constantly has stacking story lines that overlap and it is a very character driven story. I want to make my own OC story in the Narutoverse but keep the general Naruto feel to it with many story lines and characters. I have a couple ideas in mind PM me with your own or ask, I'm sure we can cook up a plot together.

Pokemon

I don't exactly have a plot but I've always wanted to do a very dark and brutal Pokemon roleplay. Where Pokemon are fighting for their lives and people actually try to steal your Pokemon, Slowpoke get their tails cut off, there's a difference between Ghost Pokemon and the Ghost of a Pokemon, etc.. I just want some dark journey with tough Pokemon. I have a few ideas floating about but I'd wanna see what other people are thinking about

Seeking partner to create a Virtual Reality MMO Game RP.

Hello I am Oll N. the name doesn't mean anything I just think it's cool and maybe you do too.

I've been having a craving for a specific Roleplay after getting into an Anime I found recently (Grimgar of Fantasy & Ash, if you're curious). If you've seen Log Horizon, .Hack, Sword Art Online or even Digimon the premise is similar to that. Humans from our world get sucked into a digital realm where they must survive until they can escape, it is a pretty common premise these days it seems but I would like to take a crack at it myself. Typically these settings are focused on a sort of Fantasy MMOrpg style, which I would kind of enjoy doing myself, but I'm open to interpretation (not a big fan of guns though, I like to Roleplay combat and guns always felt very bland for me in that fashion).

I have a ton of ideas and different thoughts about how to do this but like I said, they're just thoughts for now and I need someone to help flesh out these ideas.

A few bits about my RP Style & Preferences:

• I am cool with all forms of graphic violence, adult themes, dark themes and the general grittiness of real life as long as it fits with the story. This is not a smut RP.
• I like world building, character development, conflict, mystery, suspense and being as unique as possible with our experiences.
• I can write a medium amount or a large amount but I don't expect a novel back and I won't write anything too overbearing. Although I'd like something more than two paragraphs of five sentences each. Give me stuff to work with, short replies can have a lot of content and long replies can be bare of anything good. Have your words matter and carry weight behind them.
• I play guys, girls, animals and not. I don't mind what it is, I don't know what gender my main character will be yet. If you already know what you want to play just tell me.
• Although this will be focused on our characters, there will be a lot of side characters. I'd like if we both could control and interact with these side characters fluidly but please don't control my character and I won't control yours. I'm not too tyrannical though I swear.
• I am about that visual representation life. Have a scene in mind and know a picture that can help express it? Maybe a picture of a character you brought into a scene or a landscape that shows what we might be seeing? Add it in I don't mind, just don't add anything cheesy please.
• Please read all this shit, if you skip stuff and rush you're just robbing us both. I want a serious partner and I intend to be one myself. I'm not afraid to shut down ideas I don't like and neither should you be, this is our Roleplay and I want us both to enjoy it.

When you PM me please at least add in ideas, don't just say "Hey I like this idea" give me something to work with and I'll give you stuff to consider too. I wanna have fun and hopefully you do too.

I like this idea it reminds me of the Marvel Civil War stuff. I think we should play on the side of the Guild but a separatist group could become evident later on.

The one thing I wanna say is maybe a bit more lenient on the branding. Not exactly the forehead but on the body maybe? It'd say a lot about a character when it comes to where they were branded.

Also maybe if Yokai begin devouring humans they transform into something evil and way more dangerous? Kind of like a sickness or mental issue thing going on where they become tainted. Another thing the Guild could have to deal with that would be a lot more dangerous than just other Yokai.

I also would want to be strict Oriental Influence, there's a lot of stuff if you go looking into it. Kinda sick of the same Cleric/Knight/Rogue types.

I do think all this talk about 'mechanics' is a bit arbitrary when it comes to RP's, however. In real life there aren't really 'mechanics' for anything. Incorporating stats and limiters and such things into an RP, I've always found simply silly and ridiculous.

To be honest, I'd avoid any outright "Okay this is the list of races" and just see what people come up with, then talk about stuff on a case-to-case basis.

This is what I'm envisioning so far:

We are a Guild/Free Company/Clan of Mercenaries who get hired to do various jobs/quests/missions. Maybe there's rules such as "Never go alone" to encourage people to interact. Character's strength and 'OPness' can really only be controlled by the person controlling that character so there's not much we can do beside all shake hands and agree to keep ourselves at least somewhat "even", the longer your character has been around the stronger they are compared to someone else? I dunno, I personally don't care being 'weak' or whatever but I can see it being annoying when some just Saitama-sama's the fuck out of the big boss.

Also how do we handle magic? Magic is largely a western influence thing with wands and incantations. In Eastern traditions magic always seemed more mystic and ceremonial. What do you guys think?
