"Suggestion," a voice perked up behind Alex, "Have you tried googling the answer? I hear it is a magical tool of the modern age," the boy said with a grin. Well, as much of a grin that one can produce after staying up all night. Still, it should be enough to illustrate his good intentions, right? It mattered little either way, Zaheen was far too sleep deprived to spend time focusing on it.

"Apologies, I meant no offense, my name is Zaheen Ibrahim," the boy greeted with an outstretched hand, "I take it the two of you are new here? If you have any questions feel free to let me know, I've been here for a few years. It's an alright place all things considered. Oh, and the answer you are looking for is speak friend and enter. Gandalf said friend. My mother and I watched the movies quite a few times."

It's a shame the Hobbit movies weren't as good. Mother would have been disappointed.

Turning his attention to the object holding the curiosity of the two others, Zaheen felt compelled to learn more. "That's a rather fascinating box you have there. I can't recall having seen anything like it. I hope it's not to much trouble to request a look at it when you are done? I'd love to see the inner workings." No sooner had the boy made his request, did he feel a vibration in his pocket. "Excuse me for just one moment."

Chuckling to himself, Zaheen quickly typed up a response.

To: I'M YOUR BEST FRIEND DORK

Your ability to mess with my things astounds me.

The least you could've done was visit a few times over the summer. You stopped by maybe 6 times?

Also the contact name was a bit uninspired, don't you think?

"Sorry about that, now, where were we in this puzzle?" Zaheen asked as he turned his attention back to the real world.

Also Hecate isn't all that dark, one of her domains is Light after all.

I dunno, I'm just not understanding why children of Hecate are allowed but not someone of equal standing like Nike.

That's good to hear, because it means you're definitely improving.

To be honest this is the first time I've seen you so repentant, and it's rather heartening. Again, I'd just take the time before each post to really read over the other person's views a few time to really understand where they're coming from. Make a habit of that, and after a while treating others with respect will become natural. It's the internet, you have the benefit of the time so there's no point in getting wrapped up in the heat of things and regretting it down the road.

I'd also recommend taking the time to really read your own posts and wonder how this might be misunderstood or taken the wrong way, if you're unsure don't be afraid to ask someone else in private to give it a read over first.

Again the first step to not be a jerk is to take a careful look at yourself and what causes people to view you that way. You're on the right path there.

Are you still mad about the conference fight between Napoli and Sapphire? Look I admitted that whatever it was I was trying to do I couldn't explain it well enough to make anyone else understand what it was and so I change it. I think this is a major part of the problem, you tend to view things as isolated events. What was irksome has less to do with the specifics but more the principles and the behaviours, stuff you repeated later on in different contexts (Salt debate comes to mind). Which is why I honestly recommended taking the time to really read things when people complain. That when you can actually understand why people are annoyed or angry and then work to resolve those issues.

A little respect here and there can go a long way.

If Hecate why not someone like Nike?

I mean yeah, @Prince of Seraphs, your problem does tend to be that often times you just don't listen. And I mean really listen without preconceived notions, there have been times when you've been so certain in your views that you just flat out refuse to acknowledge other viewpoints or pieces of evidence. Really I feel like it'd do wonders if you took the time to step back every now and then and just read, from a relatively unbiased point of view and really try and get an understanding of where the other person is coming from.

RIP Swords, if was fun while it lasted.
