Could totally do something with that lake @Goldeagle1221 . Could be arguing about it or you could be taxing us to use it or something - ideas, ideas. Commonwealth would want to use it, for sure.

@Cyclone

The Commonwealth got kind of crazy with marriages just before they entered the union which led to becoming the Commonwealth. Maybe someone from a yet-to-be-unified region somehow thought they were a distant relative in the weird inbred opera and saw themselves the heir of Arman or Arhus, trying to take some land with force? I don't really have a ton of history set in stone so I'm flexible for ideas.
Well, in the far past both of our nations could've been bigger than they are now. Could even say that one of us had a vassal nation that got caught up in it, got devastated, then was annexed by the lord nation just to survive; that vassal nation could take up a chunk of the space between us.

Actually, if we're going that far back, Arman-Arhus wouldn't have been a Commonwealth quite yet. They'd be very close allies, but still technically two separate Kingdoms, even the union wouldn't have happened yet then. But I'm fine either way in terms of war or cold war; definitely makes that trade route interesting.
Officially done with my CS- added the new trade routes and a flag, and lowered the elf population, seeing as I'm a largely human nation. Though' I'd still love to get some intertwining histories, since I did say they were old. Not so old it breaks the OP lore, though.

Actually that brings up a good question, how old can we be, Sini?

Maps are rarely bad things, even if they're just super basic. It'd even help me get a better judge on how far back Marcel and Gaivus' wagon is.

I probably could make a post out of everything I said. Marcel's sure to have some thoughts about Gisele. School appropriate.

I think Marcel to would wait for Djonn, too. Think he'd panic and not be sure about what to do since he's with Hemming. If we're doing the trap thing, he could bulldoze into them afterwards, trying not to hit Rook, but then Gaivus would be by his lonesome. Not that they'd know which was Gaivus.
<Snipped quote by OneEyedChurro> Isn't that a factor of our rolls? I wasn't aware we could edit those.
Oh, I didn't mean edit the actual roles, I just meant edit the stated use of it in the sheet, since right now most is going towards the military for helmets and weapons, and importing from two places plus mining a bit on their own seems excessive for just those things. ..Unless they have a stockpile of readily usable weapons, which fits in with the easy to equip/supply role I got quite well. So maybe I won't need to edit anything at all, aside from actually documenting where they're importing the metals from.
Choices, choices. Buy the metal with ping pong paddles, or buy the metal with grains and linens. Or just buy all the metal.
Oh gosh. I think they'd probably just trade for both and put most of it towards weapons / helmets / fancy hats. That, or I'll edit them a bit to include a bit more metal.
@OneEyedChurro The issue is that neither of us have good ships and a land route, while certainly feasible, would probably be so long that any perishable items would be gone. Still, I guess grains and the like would be fine. Looking through your rolls, you have flax and linen though. That would certainy be helpful because Terus has little besides leather to make clothes from, and their composite bows need strings. I imagine bringing a caravan full of exotic grains and a bunch of linen to trade for metal stuff (I have lots of that), dyes, sugar, etc. would be profitable.
All valid points that I wholly agree with. I think I had mentioned somewhere that Arhus was importing metal, or at least I meant to, so that's perfect.
Any nation really could bring shiploads of food and sell it for several times what it is worth in their cities, especially if they are growing something other than the wheat and barley that Azracs farm.
Arhus, baby.
