Aurora's social anxiety reared its ugly face when she was directly addressed, but she quickly managed to suppress it. Her face stayed expressionless all that time, though, so there was no way anybody would have been able to tell, she told herself.
Her emotionless facade broke apart as a weak smile 'disturbed' her features.
"Don't worry, Sir Dwarf. I am not so rude that I might extort you of your hard earned money, just because I happen to be of the female sex."
She turned back the the elder woman who had approached her and seemed to want to scrounge from Aurora's purse a nice portion of wine or similar alcoholic beverages.
"My lady, as you might notice from my face, I am still a child, therefor I do not think it to be a grand idea for an elf of the meagre age of nineteen to drink alcoholic beverages. For an elf like me, I heard, I could as well be a toddler for another elf or a dwarf."
The female arctic fox jumped from her shoulder onto the bar counter looking at Aurora expecting some food. Now, for the first time today, Aurora actually smiled genuinely at the little fox.
"Are you hungry, Luna?"
When talking to her fox, her voice lost the usual icyness and became soft and lovely.
Aurora pulled out a strip of dried meat and fed it to the now very happy fox.
"Now be still and don't disturb the people here, okay?"
She smiled one last time as the fox unexpectedly, for a unknowing spectator, nodded and simply sat down on the counter staring at both the dwarf and the elder woman.
After Aurora returned her attention to the woman her icy voice reappeared again.
"As luck would have it, I still have some coins left from a trade I did a month ago. I do not understand the custom of buying somebody a drink, but if that is how it is done, I will oblige."
She shoved a few coins over the counter and motioned for the innkeeper to get the woman and the dwarf both an alcoholic beverage of their choosing. Herself she asked for just some apple juice.
"Ah, I have not asked for your names yet. I was told this is seen as rude, I apologize and would hereby ask you such. My name is Aurora, just Aurora."
Maybe. I don't know. Would certainly be a lovely RP addition. Necessary, no, useful, sure.

Also, I will wait for Magnus before posting myself, I think.
I so hope Moku is not gonna go too YanYan over SkySky
Wide eyed Skyra stared at Mokuren as the fox girl smiled. Something in her heart started to move and a stinging pain, which wasn't painful at all pierced through her innards as Skyra gazed into the face of that smiling girl. An aura she hadn't ever felt before.
A strong red blush formed on her cheeks only enhanced by the embarrassment of losing her facade.
Just a short while later she managed to gather herself again, but this time Skyra erupted into a hearty, honest laughter. Her rough, breathy, laughing voice rang loudly through the field and was even audible on the entire school grounds.

"I didn't mean your weaponry at all!", Skyra wheezed after wiping away some of the tears from her enormously joyful eyes. "I'd say, the body is more important than one's battle utensils. You don't fight all the time and you still have to live in said body, am I not right?"
Still happily smiling she pointed her finger from Moku's head over her torso, her hips and down to her feet.
"In regards of fighting equipment you might not be as well equipped as I am, but as for your body, you're a lot better off than me, the tiny twerp of a girl with no defining features that clearly mark her as a girl." Skyra smirked, but then proceeded to hug Mokuren.
"I'm happy to have met you, you're a cool girl and you're going to be a close friend, I can feel that much already!", she exclaimed happily with her wonderfully scratchy voice after she had let go of Moku.
Actually Mokuren scares me now more than ever.

Because now she has the support of a skilled fighter, who happens to be catty...?
Aurora

From the wastes far north of the coastal town of Urenda a lonely figure appeared still covered in the remains of the snowstorm in the night. It was a lone girl that approached the spotting range of the town's watchtowers. The snow still clinging to her coat and hood slowly blowing off due to the strong wind coming from a westerly direction. Only after she got closer could the guard see the white fox trailing the girl. It was a most wondrous sight and one of much grace and beauty. Not that the girl heading for the gate even actively tried to evoke such feelings.

For those born before the Great Descent it bore a feeling of peace and solemnity of days long past. For some guards it might have looked like an angel that came to bless them.
But all these magical feelings quickly evaporated as the girl came close enough for the eye to see enough detail. It was just a young nomad girl clad in a self-made coat of white fur. Only the hood she still continued to mystify the figure approaching.

It was not long after, as the first morning rays of the dim sun pierced the whites of the heavens, that the girl stood in front of Urenda's gates.

"I ask to enter this city." A calm, but icy-cold voice was expelled from underneath the cover of her hood.
"What's your name, girl? Lift your hood, so we might see your face.", one of the guards at the gate replied dutifully.
Slowly and softly the girl pulled back her hood just far enough so that one could just see her face and a few strands of snow-white hair dancing in her face. "Aurora.", she simply stated, no emotions audible in her still icy voice.

The guards clearly overwhelmed not only by the beauty of that face, not because it was the unblemished face of a princess, but because it showed the hardships of her life in a way that still preserved the natural elfin beauty, but also because of her unwavering steadfastness in front of the guards which were used to girls of her apparent age being afraid of all kinds of soldiery.
Finally one of the guards managed to squeeze out a "Where are you from, what is you business here?".
For the first time in this short conversation emotions were visible on Aurora's face. A little smile formed on her face as she pointed northwards.
"I live in the wastes and I require material to build a house. I intend to sell some furs and buy tools here."

The satisfied guard opened the gate and let the girl walk in where she headed for the local inn. The fox, meanwhile, had crawled up her back and sat on her right shoulder now right above the giant backpack she wore.
Entering the inn she strode past all the early morning drinkers and sat on a stool of the bar setting down her giant backpack next to it. With a lovely smile, which would strike the hearts of the earlier guards who only saw her frozen mimics before, she petted the fox on her shoulder.

"Innkeep, I would like to stay overnight for two days in your noble establishment. Are any rooms free for a girl like me?", she requested calmly over the noise of the bar, her icy voice, however was enough to pierce through the calamity around her.

Said innkeeper nodded and motioned her to wait a while because of the customer situation in the inn.
The excess time she had, Aurora used to look around her doing a slight bow of her head to the dwarf next to her.
Still, it might have looks silly since the inn was warm enough, but Aurora still didn't fully remove her hood.
@Kidd
She looks cute as fuck.

*hides from Kaben... <.< >.>*
You didn't hear that...
aye, same here! (BTW, I'm, like, stalking my sub section of RPG :P)
An elated giggle erupted out of Skyra breathing in the fresh air. "Your bum is just right. Not too fat, but still properly butt shaped. It's at least better than mine." In a swift motion she reached into the bag of sweets, pulled something out, she didn't actually care what, and put it into her mouth merrily chewing on it.
"Shanksh!", she mumbled, her mouth full of the remains of baked goods. Quickly she gulped it down, although still savouring the aftertaste in her mouth.
"You're also a lot more well equipped in other areas than me." Skyra winked and massaged her small bumps on her chest for a second. "Not that I wanted yours, though."
Aw man, I'm not special anymore... xD
