This fair city has been the epicenter of change. The first was born here. The first superpowered human. Since then, more and more people have been obtaining powers through many means. Lab accidents, ancient curses, technology of their own.
The future is not the atom, or artificial intelligence, it is powers. Those who have them are those who are gods on Earth.
Sides have been formed and lines have been drawn. The supers that help others with no thought for themselves are known as White capes. Black capes are the people that will do anything in their power to strengthen themselves with power or money. Gray capes are supers that are on neither side and work by their own rules.

The sun rose slowly and lazily of the prosperous kingdom of Woodgrove. Sunlight washed over the weathered stones of the immovable fortress of Woodgrove Castle. Slowly the servants and cooks were getting up to prepare the halls and food for the royal family. An attendant was going around to the rooms of the family to wake them up for their duties, leaving the crown royals for last.
