I'm good for this round, post away Rockette!
BTW, could folks put their finished NS's in the characters tab? Not too keen on digging through the OOC for them.

Or their unfinished ones. Just, have it all in one place.

Cas you sleaze :p.
No Exit was especially busy tonight, with Samhain beginning. It wasn’t Cas’ favourite establishment in the city, but it was a good place to find a certain type of company. He had the day off tomorrow, so he’d had a few drinks and was now on the prowl. Dressed in simple, fitted jeans and a black v neck, he leaned against the bar and surveyed the crowd. There were plenty of humans around, but they were too frail to survive an overnight stay with him, and dead bodies always raised lots of awkward questions. He’d spotted a few incubi and succubi around; always a fun time, but their propensity for trying to consume the soul--even another demon’s soul--got annoying. A werewolf or a shapeshifter would be the ideal match, but by their very nature they were hard to spot.

Cas downed another strawberry daiquiri. Some people mocked his choice in drinks. Some people also got their noses broken. He vaguely felt the effects of the alcohol on his human form; a slight numbing of the nerves, loss of coordination, decreased balance, but his distinctly non-human mind remained fairly clear. There were of course drugs that could addle even the strongest demons, but Cass had a habit of burning things down when he got high. Not that he personally did the burning, fond of fire as he was, but when he wasn’t fully in control, his powers began to leak out, infecting the minds of those around him.

Cas’ specialty was chaos. Mortals were particularly vulnerable, but others would certainly feel the effects of his abilities. Cas could turn a peaceful protest into a frenzied riot in about 5 minutes; a club full of partygoers into a mob of looters in even less. And, inevitably, when humans mobbed, they burnt things down, a fascinating little detail that Cas interpreted as proof of their inherent tendency towards sin.

Something pulled his attention to the far end of the room, a faint trickle of demonic energies. An incubus was laying on the charm for some poor girl, being about as subtle as a freight train. He was so inept, Cas was briefly tempted to go over and break his jaw for being such a piss poor excuse for a demon, but another girl snatched his prey away with minimal effort. Cas laughed briefly and considered confronting the incubus anyways, when a solitary girl at the bar caught his attention. She was pretty enough, but more importantly, lonely. He sidled closer to her as he ordered another drink. Yes, he could feel the insecurity rolling off her like perfume. Cas had come to No Exit seeking carnal pleasures, but seeing this girl, he knew he could perhaps snag something far more valuable. Cas didn’t have the power left in him to lead armies in the eternal conflict, but he still had more than enough juice to snag a wayward soul. And that lonely girl, there was something she wanted so badly she’d give anything for it.

“I’m guessing your date’s running late?” he asked her casually.

@Carlsberg
You certainly gave that demon a stern talking to :p
@Ace of flames01

It's yours.
@Leoven Unless you're already half done with you post, I'd like to grab that entrance. Let me know how far along you are/how much you'd need to change.

Though getting rescued by Cas isn't much of an improvement, maybe Ali can do some further rescuing XD.
I'd never thought of it like that, but the multiple races, expansionist tendencies, fondness for orbital strikes...there is a certain similarity to the Covenant. Minus the religion thing. Which is the definitive feature of the Covenant. So they're just as much a pseudo-United Federation of Planets as a pseudo-Covenant. Or an even more obvious comparison, pseudo-Systems Commonwealth from Andromeda. I even appropriated the name :p.

@Willy Vereb Nice space boat Willy. I swear the renders star trek fans put together are way better than anything the actual creators come up with.

Also I doubt anyone made it to the Fleet section of my NS, so here's my favourite Commonwealth space boat, CSC-Praetoria

Bam. Git gud.
Also working on a reply, Bunni's created a pretty solid intro point. Though let's be careful not to trip over eachother coming to Val's rescue :p
@WilsonTurner

Wat? They're not nearly religiously crazy enough!
