@Xuna I do agree about history - however that doesn't mean SCRAP IT ALL! because, we have clan sheets. This kind of depth and info is perfect for a deeper look at your clan.

I think a good addition to RPG would be a mechanic where co-GM's can edit the first post of the OOC. Currently I am co-GMing an RP where I create lots of content, and will also keep creating content as long as I see fit. However it's a hassle to have to send it to the OP owner every time I need to add something, or change something, or simply update something or correct mistakes.

Something like this should/could be optional, to tag for a GM. I can imagine GM's who assign a random person in their RP the glorious task of co-GMing might feel a bit like it's a risk, so therefore I imagine it should be enabled/disabled. However I feel like the pro's to this (faster working for co-GM's that are heavily involved) outweighs the risks, especially if it's an option.

That brings me to a second suggestion, which is a 'version' system that saves the last (three?) versions of an OOC first post. Having this would be another safeguard, but probably also be useful in case you accidentally edit something out without realizing. Using a rollback will be useful to regain things that you might have lost but it can also be useful just for consistency, in case you want to look back at something or anything of that sorts.

I can imagine the second suggestion being a bit obscure and I don't really think it's neccesary, but the first one is IMHO very much so neccesary as it's becoming a bit of a pain to do it all manually by PMing the OP owner the code for whatever I made, having to wait for them to add it and then eventually fix grammar mistakes, spelling mistakes, or content mistakes. Having the ability to edit that first post would be very appreciated.

I guess the only reason this couldn't be done is if it conflicts with the abilities of the board but I suppose then in that case nobody can really help that. Then again you have enabled co-GM's to edit the thread name, tags and other stuff already, I don't see why this wouldn't be enabled for the first post. Also, sorry if this has been suggested a million times and you've told them off already, but I figured good suggestions get suggested a lot more than bad ones.

Rei Minamoru

“For the Minamoru, everything.”

Rei has changed quite a bit over the years, having bleached her hair a white colour. Compared to earlier ages she has also grown physically, becoming more of a woman and less of a child. As such she's grown more curves in a lovely hourglass figure (like her mother) with wide hips and a wide upper body, but a thing and small waistline. She's not all that muscled, definetely not compared to Yamato, her older brother. She is however a lot more flexible and lighter, allowing faster movement and more daring dodge moves. She is also quite small reaching barely 5'3.

Her facial features resemble that of her brother ever so slightly, but enough to make people recognise them as brother and sister (despite the age gap) where they both have a rounded face but a chiseled jawline (him more so than her) and just like him, she has a thing nosebridge. Different from him however she doesn't have dark green eyes but rather, a brownish kind of colour.



Her shinobi-clothes are relatively simple, being a blue vest over a black athletic crop top, with a blue skirt underneath that. Her vest is usually partially open revealing a bit of her stomach and her belly button, which are toned. Alongside that she also wears gloves, as well as black stockings with cuts in the side revealing her leg. Besides that she wears the relatively standard shinobi sandals, a high version with a metal plating attached.

【Personality】
Rei is unlike some in her family a bit more friendly, however she still bears the Minamoru trademark of not being pro-kekkei genkai. She might not be as upright and straight-forward about it, but she has a fine memory imprinted in her mind that kekkei genkai's are generally bad. Never the less she remains quite friendly to those with kekkei genkai, although she probably shouldn't if she wants to remain in her fathers' good graces.

Furthermore she is also quite sociable and has quite a lot of friends her own age (in other teams, too) and the few times she's met other shinobi from other villages she was always able to form new relationships with these people. Her proximity to Yamato, a somewhat known boy since he is a prodigy, a genius of a sort, has only furthered this since even if people dont neccesarily like the girl, they might be interested by Yamato and want to stay close to him, and thus, Reihana.

Rei is a happy girl who provides a stark contrast to her brother Yamato. Being pretty much an exact opposite in personality, she is friendly, cheerful and respectful towards everyone at all moments - yes, even when she's grumpy she'll make an effort to excuse herself for it. Due to this she's quite popular, although you could wonder if this is because of herself or because her brother is Yamato, a popular boy in the lower grades, especially amongst the girls who seem to frequently want to stay over at the Minamoru residence to “sleep over at Rei's”.

When dealing with authorities such as jonins or chunins, or any other sort of authority who ranks higher in the hierarchy, she seems to listen well but often dwells off during briefings or lectures - she isn't sure if she even wants to be a shinobi and mostly is taking classes in it because she wants to follow in Yamato's footsteps, although she doesn't seem to want to put effort towards this goal. She frequently declines Yamato's harsh offers to train together, stating she has plans already (usually comprised of buying makeup or clothes in the Financial District with friends.. daddy's creditcard.)

【History】
Ever since birth Rei was overshadowed by Yamato in all aspects except in love - being a girl she drew closer to her mother, and father always wanted to protect her so she was never lacking in the attention department either. However she was always forced to hear about Yamato's greatness during dinner and other family meetings, something she doesn't feel warm or cold towards. It seems to be accepted as a fact of life that Yamato is a better shinobi, something that hasn't really impacted her relationships with mom and dad anyway so she hardly cares. Matter of fact it seems to have fostered and nurtured a great amount of respect and forced her to look up to her older brother, something she'd never admit and something he'd never notice.

She seemed to do quite alright in base school, never really doing above average but always managing to get a proper pass on any test. Teachers loved her, despite not being a great student, due to her brother being a good student before her. This caused them to constantly reminisce about things Yamato mastered before anyone else and led to them expecting the same of her - although they were quick to realize that this would probably not be the case. Now that she's passed her base school exams she's become a genin, and she's now in shinobi high school, to become a chunin and partaking in genin missions in the designated times as well in her free time whenever she's called on by her sensei. Formerly her sensei was Tsukiko Umene, the “Honeybadger” and although they weren't compatible in styles, she enjoyed her time with the sensei, who was a bit wild and strange at times but was a good teacher none the less. Furthermore she was extremely beautiful, something that always drew Rei closer to her and that made her want to be like Tsukiko - sadly for her it would never come to this as sensei was pulled away from the team following a reorganisation in favor of a new experiment to divide the teams into variable teams handpicked for each missions. Last known, her sensei is a man named Kirimoro, who specialises in medical jutsu. Given that she's not particularily fond of this man but has a keen interest in medical jutsu and wished to work in the hospital rather than become a shinobi fighter like Yamato, she's put up with the man and has tried to become better friends with him.

That failed ultimately, and after a mission with Giichi and Yamato, she has decided to actually follow in Yamato's footsteps in whole, and put forwards greater effort to become a better fighter. This succeeded and by then she'd become a capable genin, ready to enter the chunin exams. She entered alongside Giichi and Rin, to become chunin together with them. Ultimately this was achieved by all three of them and now all three of them are chunin, Rei included.

【Family ties】
Rei is more or less the favored child in the household due to Yamato's inaccessibility to his father and mother. Due to that she's quite pampered, but not to the point where's she's a spoiled brat. Rather, she just gets all she wants, but this has also humbled her a bit.

Mika Minamoru | Mother | 38, Konohagakure, restaurant owner and part time mother, she is a hard worker who never complains. Atleast she likes to think so.
Reijo Minamoru | Father | 44, Konohagakure, although often away on bussiness, politician and economist, it's said he has a pair of mistresses in any city.
Yamato Minamoru | Older brother | 18, Konohagakure, Rei is often left in his shadow due to him being a prodigy but that hasn't made her resentful, but rather proud instead. She adores him and wishes to be like him, although that will never happen and she knows it.

【Dreams and fears】
Rei dreams to simply have a family when she grows older, and to one day get out of the turbulent life of a shinobi without too much scratches.

Her fears are that her family is murdered (obviously, a fear for anyone) or being endangered.

【Fighting style】
Unlike her brother Rei has little aptitude for taijutsu due to her fragile frame and slender build - as such she is more accustomed to the use of ninjutsu, becoming quite adept at it in the progress. She has an average chakra pool and average chakra control, so in essence she is not above or below anyone in terms of any type of combat besides taijutsu and some weaponry. However this has allowed her to also become adept at the use of ninjutsu - maybe she is no expert at the actual jutsu, but she can use the jutsu that she has quite well.

Description:
This technique is part one of the combination techniques that Rei made up herself, of which this is the first jutsu needed. It's not neccesarily a B rank but the combination of it's own is a B rank style jutsu.

The first part of the jutsu is creating a dome around the target. This can be done in numerous ways as a setup (i.e how to get it around the enemy) such as a lure using a clone, or other such trickery. It's also possible to use some more chakra and simply create the dome right where the target is.

Now, this isn't a cheapshot, since there is a hole at the top of the dome (for a good reason that I will come to later) that the target can then escape out of. At this point the technique is done and the next technique is put into action to finish the combo. Phase two!

This technique is part two of the combination jutsu that Rei can do. After performing required handseals *as always* Rei will jump onto of the dome and spew water with the chakra kneaded in her stomach, into the opening, to fill up the dome of earth.
