Bio

If we are marked to die, we are enough
To do our country loss; and if to live,
The fewer men, the greater share of honour.
God’s will! I pray thee, wish not one man more.
By Jove, I am not covetous for gold,
Nor care I who doth feed upon my cost;
It yearns me not if men my garments wear;
Such outward things dwell not in my desires;
But if it be a sin to covet honour,
I am the most offending soul alive.
No, faith, my coz, wish not a man from England.
God’s peace! I would not lose so great an honour
As one man more, methinks, would share from me
For the best hope I have. O, do not wish one more!
Rather proclaim it, Westmoreland, through my host,
That he which hath no stomach to this fight,
Let him depart. His passport shall be made,
And crowns for convoy put into his purse.
We would not die in that man’s company
That fears his fellowship to die with us.

@Kimono I don't wanna force you to make skype but we have everyone on there save 1 member, it's been helpful so far.
@Kimono Not exactly if your character is a new chunin, since there's actually chunin exams happening soon. We're about to jump into a new plot, too, and most of the stuff so far I can explain to you in a nutshell if you've any questions.

Also, we have a skype group where you can always ask stuff. :p
@Kimono Actually some of the people that we were expecting to join (and thus, we closed the RP after their submittals) haven't come through and posted or had some troubles.

As such I can offer you a spot right away. Would that work as well?

A preview of a character that we'll see, hopefully soon, when the plot goes ahead and hurries up a bit.
This is exactly why he will never be jonin. :D
Saburo Uchiha, “Kimyōna”

@Assassin

Damn. This wasn't exactly what he had anticipated from the boys' earlier behaviour. He had expected to be defending against a sword-attack or a taijutsu-attack, not ninjutsu. Luckily for Saburo he was a ninjutsu duelist at heart, and he was able to quickly devise a plan. He stood up straight now with his hands next to him, dropping the gentle fist mimick. He took a brief moment to look at Shouken, who now flew away towards a tree whilst eyeing Saburo. It was time to showcase what the element of surprise could do.. 11th corps style. He stepped towards the snake, which was now flying towards Saburo at a high speed, and his steps resonated in the water calmly.

He waited until the snake fully covered the sight between Shouken and Saburo, making sure that Shouken could not see his next move throughout the water. Quickly he formed seals, and noticed that he was very nearly too late. He should remember to not wait too long next time. He made a mental note about that for now. “Kaaaton! Gōryūka no Jutsu!” he said softly, though there was no way Shouken would hear it over the crashing waves of his destructive water technique.

From Saburo's mouth came a small fire, quickly evolving into a full blown Great Dragon Fire Technique, shaped like a dragon's head. Although.. that much would be unknown by Shouken, as Saburo didn't put much chakra or effort into the technique on purpose, to keep it small. He used it to cover himself from the technique, evaporating the water that came close to him, and to form a shield of heat in the shape of an arc in front of him - this way he was sure he wouldn't get caught out in the torrent. Saburo was quite surprised actually, that Shouken knew this technique. In the right hands, it is a valuable technique.

As soon as the snake technique started dissolving into the torrential river that followed after this technique, Saburo took the brief moment he had bought himself with the fire technique and sunk into the water. He quickly swam to the right, to the shoreline, where he got out of the water and crawled into a bush. To Shouken it would seem as if Saburo had vanished and had been dragged along with the torrent - to death or perhaps even lifelong permanent damage. The truth was far more dangerous, but not for Saburo, for Shouken. Saburo took a brief moment in the bush to catch his breath while he observed Shouken in the tree. It didn't seem like Shouken was hiding, but he was doing something. Saburo smiled to himself, though. Just because Shouken didn't do what Saburo had wanted, didn't mean his plan changed. “Teacher 1-sama always says; a fight is like poker, where patience and calmth can win you the game even with a crap hand. I haven't folded yet, Shouken-senpai.. and my hand is not crap, denoting that my plan is good and near fail-proof.” he said to himself as he crawled out of the bush to the side, trying to flank Shouken by moving silently as he did.

When he finally got close to Shouken's back side, he got up, and dashed forwards onto the branch that Shouken was on. If he hadn't been noticed, this was the moment where Saburo showed his hand - and hopefully won the game of 'poker' they were playing. He set one foot on the right side of Shouken, and the other on the left, maintaining balance quite well. If he was right, Shouken would only notice his presence now, but he didn't know how good the boys' senses were.. perhaps he'd been spotted. Even an 11th corps former officer could make mistakes.

With his right hand he attempted to grab a hold of Shouken's right hand, in an attempt to constrict movement and to refute any possible counter attacks. His left hand meanwhile would grab Shouken's throat and force Shouken to look up, and look right into Saburo's eyes. He blinked briefly and as soon as he opened his eyes, the three tomoe of the Sharingan would be visible, revealing that Saburo did lie about not having the sharingan. “.. SHARINGAN! If it all succeeded, he would've placed Shouken under a sharingan genjutsu, which would make it appear as if the battle had started right from the start again. Ofcourse this wasn't true.

In this genjutsu, Shouken would be standing on the water again, feeling slightly more enervated than when the genjutsu had happened, resembling how he hadn't used his chakra for the snake technique yet. The sensations would feel quite real, and his memory of the genjutsu being used on him (if it was succesful) would be nearly faded, almost as if they were a dream where you can't recall 99% of what happened. It would seem almost like this was actually... real, and not a genjutsu. “I don't own the Sharingan yet, Shouken-senpai. But don't go easy on me. I am.. definetely...... capable.......” Slowly Saburo's words would get distorted more and more to the point where they became inaudible and simply sounded like someone screeching in Shouken's ears. Meanwhile the world would slowly fade away, with white 'edges' coming closer to the 2 chunin, the water slowly draining into the white abyss. If Shouken looked away from the water to, say, cover his ears to protect against the screeching sounds and looked upwards as a result, he would notice as soon as he looked back down that the water was then completely gone and they were standing on only a mudflat with nothing around them for miles.

The white abyss would slowly fade away again and Saburo would become audible slowly ever more. “But even without the Sharingan, Shouken-senpai, I am a master of space-time ninjutsu. That is because I own the Rinnegan.” it would be now that Shouken could suddenly see, from this distance, that Saburo's eyes had become replaced with a rinnegan on each side, appearing so real that Shouken would probably just have to believe it. “And we are now in the middle of nowhere. Get ready, Shouken-senpai.. here I come.” Very slowly, almost not moving at all, Saburo would set one foot forwards, seemingly taking eons, ages, years to take 1 step forwards.. but when Shouken would ultimately blink, Saburo would suddenly be right behind him with a kunai at Shoukens throat, within an instance, with no chance to defend. All Saburo would say then, with that fake cheerful smile of his, was “Haha, I win, Shouken-senpai! Can we try again? Please?” with a childish voice. But before Shouken could even think of an answer the genjutsu would restart almost immediately, where they would be standing on the water again, before replaying in the exact same manner. Ofcourse this would only happen if Shouken only got caught in the genjutsu to begin with.
@Akashi Mayhiro W-why would she ever concede the locations of a bloody illegal hideout to a shinobi, who is more or less a law enforcer in a few ways.

Really, Momoi isn't even supposed to know that the Minamoru are Yakuza affiliated. Somehow it's become common knowledge without my knowing it?
Right, @Crimmy I advise you to hurry up whatever you'd planned as arc 2.5 is drawing to an end.

@Masaki Haruna I also advise you to get ready for arc 3, be ready to launch it, double check your shit.

@Renny @FallenTrinity You two should be good for now, here on out it's Crimmy that's gonna be advancing us again (I hope)

@Assassin We should be good for now, even if arc 2.5 is ending. The fight probably won't last much longer (if my plan works ehehehehe) and if it does, well, we can always just end it in a collab.

@Akashi Mayhiro Since I never catch you on skype, can you PM/Skype me the details on how you fixed the situation regarding the Mighty Naruto?

With a gentle step to his left, Saburo moved out of the way, but only barely so. This was done on purpose as the 'gentle fist' style that Saburo had managed to mimick near perfectly required one to be very close. That, plus the fact that Shouken had a drawn blade at the ready, meant that if Saburo wanted to avoid the weapon, he'd have to stay close and make sure that even if Shouken swung the weapon, Saburo was close enough to render the weapon ineffective. All this went through Saburo's mind analytically as he stepped to the left - in a matter of seconds he had devised his next 50 steps.

The second that Shouken landed Saburo sent forwards his right open palm, aiming specifically for the side of the boy. If he had guessed correctly, Shouken would be ready, but he wasn't sure how long Shouken would take to dodge or block the strike. As such, this attack wasn't meant to harm or take down the opponent.. more so, a probing strike to see how quick Shouken could react. It probably wouldn't be an accurate reading since Shouken had been training - in Saburo's mind, this was not a fair fight. But when was a shinobi fight ever fair?

The open palm strike was aimed at the lower right side of Shouken's body, slightly below the ribs. If it did hit the boy, there would be no tenketsu blockage. After all, Saburo could not see the chakra paths or the tenketsu - it was virtually impossible for him to block tenketsu. Rather the 'gentle fist mimick' was a style that Saburo copied from a Hyuga, but that maintained the taijutsu standard of knocking an opponent out with hard blows. And as such upon connecting the attack, Shouken would feel a ripple of pain go through his side, and possibly have some air blown out of his lungs as a result. Then again.. Shouken might be fast enough to block it. As soon as the attack had been done with, Saburo would gently pull back his hand, but quick enough to avoid any attempts to grab it, before stepping back two steps and making some distance again, dropping his arms to his side. “Excuse me, Shouken-senpai. I'm sure you have more than a simple attempt to attack like that. Shouken-senpai, please, come again, denoting I wish you to attack me again.” The boys mannerisms had stayed, but his figure of speech had become more calm and his face didn't follow what he said anymore, instead completely focused on Shouken. Even if this was a sparring match, he was still going to try his best to win.

He took a second more to look at Shouken calmly before sliding back his left foot and raising both hands in an open position, one in front of his solar plexus, the other extended in front of his torso. He was making ready for his final move - the game ender - and while Shouken was likely still convinced that the fight was going to go on a bit more, Saburo had devised a plan earlier. His face remained the same, not betraying his plans, but in his head the wheels were turning as he anticipated the attack.

Yamato Minamoru, “Young Master”

@Renny@FallenTrinity@Crimmy

Yamato glanced at Giichi as he answered Yamato, before he looked back at the map in front of him. Slowly he nodded to himself before looking back at Giichi, nodding at him now as well. “You are right. I doubt we'll find many with blonde eyes and blue hair here, let alone those with a Konoha headband. Even if you were to take it off.. I doubt people would not notice you always hanging around the minister.” he said calmly before looking back at the map. Taking a moment, calmly which was unlike Yamato, he thought it true once more and then nodded once more. “Place your mark at the hallway, where the three rooms of the siblings connect. Do periodic checks inside the rooms, and be alert. Find out a way to be vigilant at all times. I leave the rest to you, Giichi.” he said, before turning his attention to Gin. The boy was spouting nonsense mostly, and Yamato was about to cuss him out and kick his ass, but Haruka intervened timely. And without knowing it, Haruka probably saved Gin a trip to the hospital because of that.. tsk.

But Yamato didn't feel like agreeing with Haruka, not today anyway. “Gin, you'll be on guard with Giichi. There's a problem with putting 1 person in charge of 3 people, and that is that 3 people likely don't stay in the same spot constantly. You'll accompany any of the 3 siblings that leaves their rooms. Yes, that includes the oldest daughter. Yamato gritted his teeth as he looked at the map, knowing now that he'd regret this later. Well, not himself personally. Haruka would get the blame. But it'd be a personal loss if Gin messed up, and so measures had to be taken. Later, though, not now.

“My father knows the minister quite well. I'll go with him. I won't bother with sneaky tactics and hiding in plain sight. Having a Konoha shinobi nearby will deter anyone wishing to make a move. That leaves you, Haruka. And we need someone to figure out who these people are.” he said with a condescending tone. Slowly Yamato got up and walked to a nearby bed, slinging his dufflebag onto it and then turning around, leaning against the bed and looking at Haruka. “Knowing we had to track people down and defend a target, I really wonder what kind of team leader doesn't take a sensor nin with them.. unless you happen to know sensory techniques, Haruka?” He was indicating with his walking away, as well as calling Haruka the team leader, that Yamato was handing the baton back to Haruka. He was now the acting leader again - even if he had never coordinated this change of leadership.

Once Haruka, as well as Giichi and Gin, had had their say again, Yamato would walk towards the door and open it, stepping aside for the rest and indicating to them that they should get to their posts - Gin and Giichi together in the hallway, Haruka where ever he wished to start the investigation, or whatever he was going to do. Yamato didn't even care at this point. But as the people would move past him Yamato would grab Giichi's shoulder softly and pull him aside a moment before closing the door again. He made sure to seem imposing on the boy, authoritarian even. If anything, Giichi would think he was getting a beating for messing up. That was not the case however.

“Giichi, good work on the station choice,” Yamato opened the conversation, and although the words themselves may of been friendly, he was frowning rather heavily in anger although not directly at Giichi. The words sounded norse and not really meant too, although Yamato was honestly surprised at Giichi's capabilities of logic. It seemed Giichi had improved since their last mission, or perhaps the calmth of the room allowed Giichi time to think about his actions and words. “I bet you're wondering why I pulled you aside, as you should be. I put Gin with you because I'm not sure if I can trust him. Both in general regards, and in regards to the eldest daughter. I'd check him myself but the minister needs protection too, and since I know him it might be best if I guarded him.”

Yamato released Giichi's shoulder now and stood straight, looking Giichi straight in the eyes now with an imposing glare. “Keep him in your eyes, too. Keep him in check. I'm placing you in charge of this.. situation. Don't dissapoint me, Giichi. Don't dissapoint your clan. Yamato's words sounded a bit manipulative if you couldn't read his minds, but he genuinely felt like the Uzumaki clan honor was at stake here. The times of Naruto Uzumaki, the brat that became Hokage.. those times were over. There was more at stake now than a simple boy named Naruto, there were now things such as clan honour and valor in play. Giichi, although likely not aware of this yet, would best become aware soon. And what better way to become aware than though Yamato, someone who held these values in high regard. With the conversation over (Yamato didn't really expect an answer besides 'yes, Yamato') he opened the door again and walked out, walking past whomever was outside that door. He headed straight for the ministers room, to check if he was there, and otherwise check where he was.
Aye, for now I see people are still interested and there are other RP's where posts can take weeks to be made, but it's still active, so I wouldn't worry too much. I encourage people to post when they have time, as we'd moved at a rapid pace before we can calm it all down a bit more now.
