Current Think I'm gonna finally get to RPing here. Don't know if I'm gonna commit, don't know where to start, and don't know what I'm gonna do, but I'm gonna do it.

I've had Johnny Cash on my mind all day. Can't get "When the Man Comes Around" out of my head. Tempted to let it influence some writing or make it a character's "theme"

I'm a bit scattered brained lately, so if I need to respond to a roleplay response, just remind me, I could've forgotten.

Finally done with the college semester, so I decided to treat myself to a expensive burger and a walk on the beach

Finally got Kokotha thread up. It's gonna be awkward in the first day of moving it here.

Bio

Hello, I am Patches

I roleplay as a hobby, as well as designing OCs to be used in various types of roleplays. No matter the setting, I believe I have one just for the situation.

Chuckling, Hueco nodded, It's all good. Everyone has a bit of culture shock, you could call it, when entering a world in Yim. Hueco said, walking down the hall, suitcase in tow, running his fingers along the shelves. Books upon shelves upon walls of literature.

It might be a bit confusing, but let me explain... he turned to face her, Yim is in fact the dimension of storms, rain, and mist that you are taught about. But a skilled caster is able to enter Yim and draw upon its powers, greater than they could when in the physical world of Kodo. He pointed to himself with his thumb, looking proud. I am one of those skilled Caster! A Caster can create whole worlds made from magic, their own personal spaces in the world. It's a technique said to have been learned from Amalgamates, back before Kokotha was even a concept of a country.

Still looking proud, the beastkin began to show a bit of humility in his art, O-of course I can't create a huge world or one too big. This is about as far as I've gotten. I mostly use it to get alone time. No one else is here... Just the two of us. I rarely bring anyone in, even my son.

Such an odd girl... Grazia said, observing the young girl as she rambled on about the card. Buying things with her father's credit card when he isn't around? ...Wonder if father had one of those... Grazia thought to herself. She'd hate to me living off her late father's expenses, but the idea of having money at all times was a pleasant prospect.

But, her train of thought was cut off, as the knife wearing girl ran up to her, excited as ever and covered in soapy water and blood. Acting casual, Grazia chuckled Weeeell... Guess you were lucky to go through one. They're meant for cars, ya know, not little girls.... And the cashbot? It was a bot that takes money to pay for things.
Okay I forgot to post, sorry about that.

... The girl tilted her head, confused at his question. It was out of the blue and his stern attitude didn't exactly make Shen-Mu too willing to answer. But, she bowed her head, and with a sigh, she answered. ...An ancient story, yes. Men and women, killed over superstitions. A horror story told by beastkin and harvestmen alike. Clutching at her dress, she rubbed at her blindfold, she returned Urik's question with a question of her own.

What of you? she asked him, her quiet voice laced with odd speaking patterns. My mysterious guest. Sneaks in. Threatens me. Asks about an ancient slaughter. You frighten me...
I'll post tonight
The world was very simple. Looked to be a hallway, crossed a library. Large shelves reaching the ceiling, ladders going high up in order to reach the highest shelves. No turns or corners in the odd hallway of books, just a wide corridor of shelves, ladders, and stairs. Was this a world of Hueco's design?

In time, Hueco stepped through the portal as well, following Juniper. With her standing directly in front of the exit, the beastkin clumsily bumped into her. With a lightweight body likes his, Juniper would unlikely be budged by him, even when taken off guard.
There, before him, was a young girl. Her skin was pale, practically white, like someone who rarely went outside. Even her hair was the same, pale shade. Contrasting with her skin and hair though, she wore a black robe, speckled with a few drops of grey colored paint. In her lap sat a rune, Stone to be exact, which she held her hands close to. But strangest of all, was the blindfold she wore, covering her eyes. Yet, despite it, she was staring directly at Urik, as he stood before her. No sign of fear was in her body language or face.

I do not know you. A stranger from a strange land? One who uses threats She said, curiously observing her intruder somehow. Next to her was a canvas, displaying an unfinished painting of what looked like the gate outside. Don't be afraid... Be welcomed.

What do you guys think?
I could have Grazia head off else where to interact with someone else, since a 5 person interaction seems like a lot
@Yomojo
Opening a way into Yim was always finicky for people who didn't do it all the time. As a matter of fact, Hueco had taken a boat here due to his lack of experience with it. But now it was time for him to pull it off. For us Casters, opening up a rift to Yim can be thought of as opening a door that isn't there to a world that isn't here. You have to envision that it is there and open it. He said, as he focused. The veins of his skin were glowing a lavender color, magic pulsing through them, even his finger nails were taking on a purplish tinge.

But, within a few dozen seconds, a bright purple rift opened up before them. Whatever was on the otherside wasn't visible through the light. The color in Hueco's arm began to fade, now the rift had opened, he could stop focusing as much. Well would you look at that. Hueco said, grinning, looking proud of himself.

Grazia, meanwhile, had a bit of trouble with the card. Figuring out how to work the cashbot. She had never held such a thing before, maybe once or twice, but not for too long. But soon, she figured out how to work it and began to head on back. They're probably waiting for me! Can't just up and disappear on them. She said out loud, talking to herself.

...Only to be faced with another gruesome sight.

The small child was armed to the teeth. She didn't even know that many knives could be hidden on one person. Approaching the group slowly, she had her hand close to one of the many pockets on her outfit. In particular, she was reaching for the lasergun she had... It wouldn't harm either of them, but it was certainly painful. Act casual. she told herself.

Waving to the two, she greeted them again. So um... How was the carwash...?
