I wonder if this place would ever run a proper Play By Post with dice rolls and whatnot.

The average life expectancy of RPs here leave something to be desired.

Ah yes, looking up words in Google Translate. Used an actual paperback dictionary back in the day, but still - looks like I'm back in the saddle.

It's not the size of the brain that counts, it's how you wield it

@Twilights Curse Note that Chris's power has individual side effects, per target, that aren't necessarily negative but must make sense (and also are mostly negative :)

It is up to you to decide what happens to Nathan.
@Peaceless DO you want more then. I can add inside the rooms I guess.

Nope, it's perfect. Since there's a lot of us in the hallway, I assume Ezekiel wouldn't have time to ignore everything and open doors randomly.
Without noticing, Ezekiel moved to stand between the shadow girl and the newcomers. He still didn't like her, but the thought of her being in danger put him in a weird primordial discomfort that he somehow had to act against. Only after the others moved away that he allowed himself to step to the side, far out of her way, and look her over. Her inner works were more visible now - anger and helplessness. She was slamming against the walls of her cage with every step, he thought, challenging them constantly while grinding herself to dust.

When he noticed he was staring at her, Ezekiel coughed and quickly turned away. He quickly moved towards a door to a random room that wasn't being searched by the others, to continue solving this riddle in the only way he knew.
"...So I ask you this, where do your loyalties lie?"

Chris stared at the guard. He was overwhelmed by the sheer power of fight-or-flight that was pressing down on his brain, and unconsciously began fidgeting with his bracelet again. This... this man, did not deserve to have his head attached to his body, and on the other hand, suggesting a mere nudge in his direction put Chris's body in physical pain. He exhaled forcefully and turned to move towards the other guard and his victim, sprawled on the floor and choking on insults that somehow flowed out of him by themselves.

The guard, intent on silencing the broken young man forever, stopped in mid-swing. His eyes challenged Chris to react, and his body was tense like a spring, his hand ready to modify the swing vector to hit either of the prisoners. The man on the floor was shaking slightly with the pain, his breaths raspy and shallow as his lungs forced against cracked ribs. And as Chris's eyes move from the prisoner to the guard, all he could imagine was grabbing the baton from the guard's hand and smashing it against his half-helmet with all his body's augmented might. The man caught the look for what it was and slammed the baton against Chris's shoulder as a warning, not enough for a fracture but for an impressive bruise.

The draw was set. Crouching, the young man found the other prisoner's neck with his hand, and sent the strongest signal that he could muster that would accelerate biological repairs beyond the body's natural limitation. But he read this body first, and realized even as he proceeded that this would be useless - the prisoner was completely drained of energy, which his body consumed in an absurdly high rate. The body would not repair itself without a price.

Chris rose to his feet. His banded wrist was completely numb now. But the pressure on his mind was gone. When it wasn't only about him, the choice between fight and flight was obvious. He tried each of the muscles on his arms, chest, legs, made sure his shoes were comfortable. Then, he straightened his gaze at the guard.

"Your move."
@PeacelessThat was a specific guard not a whole hall but I will see what I can do.

You are free to limit Ezekiel's exploring to a few of the rooms, if you think he would not have time to explore the entire hallway in one post.
@Peaceless
Ive just never done it that way in an RP so I was looking for an idea how to do it. I don't mind trying but I've never done it so I don't know how.

Actually you've been doing great so far. You can look at the description of the rooms you have already described and at the description of the guard in that last collab we did.
@Peaceless How would I do that when your character is in the lead?

Aren't you, like, running the world too? I didn't mean a description from Roxy's eyes, I meant an objective one from the GOD of the LAND.
@Peaceless
These would be mostly labs. You will see a few scientist, test tubes, cages, lots of equipment. Think CSI lab stuff. Some will be locked because of the sensitivity of the work.

Erm, no chance of an in-game description, is there?
@Peaceless I meant which hall on the map

Ah. Right. Well we were in the bottom-most horizontal corridor, the one with the pink rooms on the left side. So he's moving on to the vertical hallway with the purple rooms on both sides.

<Snipped quote by Boboclown98>

Except for the fact they probably have security cameras, guns, tasers and more ways yo stop somebody getting out.

I agree with bobo - the power needed a nerf, and it received it. So I guess we are nice and balanced now?
All of them.

Ezekiel will open all the doors and glance inside, while the rest of yous are talking the time away.
