@FantasyChic I am hoping to start in the next few days, soon as I finish up these other cs's just so they are not rambling around in my mind. Those that don't have their sheets done by then, it won't be a problem. Our starting point will allow for some extra time as needed.

I'm working hard on mine, but it's much more in depth than I'm used to. While this is a great exercise for the mind, it also takes longer than a simpler CS.

Role: Scrounger, Scout, Survival Expert, Technician.

Hobbies: Creating small moving machines out of junk he finds

Likes: Life, be it carbon-based or otherwise

Dislikes: Pessimists, murderers

Abilities:
LIFE INCARNATE - Create a functioning mech out of various junk found in the area. The size and abilities of the mech vary with the junk found and Galvano's will. But usually it's some sort of dog.
SECOND WIND - Repair any kind of equipment, heal Omnics. Does not replenish energy of depleted devices, but can replenish ammo if the materials are present.
LAST BREATH - Cause the junk at a nearby area to lash out. This is useful for clearing out debris or to make an enemy lose their footing.
MOMENTUM - A slow attack that is almost unstoppable if Galvano has the proper footing. Best used as a "melee siege weapon".

Tools and Weapons: A heavy club made from a very hard metal is Galvano's main tool for self defense. He also posesses climbing gear for hard-to-reach locations, mapping tools, high-power monocular and some junk he always keeps on his person.

Personality: In human terms, Galvano has the personality of a 10 year old child. His commander in Overwatch discovered this far too late in the Omnic's service. But it is not that Galvano is immature - he is incorrigibly optimistic. Even when going to war, he knows the enemy can be saved.

Biography: Galvano is strange, even for an Omnic. He began modifying his body at a young age - and at first appeared to be devolving, until his owners noticed he was actually experimenting. He was built to work in construction, and these modifications made him less efficient, so he was promptly scrapped. But instead of being destroyed, he managed to escape, posing as metal refuse from the construction site and hiding in the junkpile. That is, until the omnic crisis began.

For a few months after gaining true consciousness, his experiments were of an internal nature - thoughts, ideas, dreams. He underwent ridiculously fast evolution, forced upon him by the God Programs. Eventually, he began thinking of life - how making buildings was not that different than making Omnics. Or people. And he decided to return to the city, to share his new findings and ideas with others.

But the city was up in flames. The omnic factory was producing machines of war, up to its technological limit. The streets steamed with laser fire and explosions. It did not take long for the Overwatch to arrive, but they were already too late.

The city has fallen.

They found him covered in blood, trying to reassemble a man who was torn apart by shrapnel. They opened fire and quickly crippled his legs and arms. He tried dragging himself on his remaining hand towards the corpse, to push its leg against the now blackened wound where it was severed. And when they read back his code, to try and explain this behavior and gain an advantage over the rioting Omnics, a strange noise seemed to constantly interrupt the flow of data. The Omnic, one expert said, was crying.

@Peaceless Yeah, thankfully the long list helps keep things going; most of mine currently that I am running are between the 3 and 7 month mark on the forum ~knock on wood~

There are a couple of links provided - one right above the CS that has the skills listed out that can be used. The other is to the Firefly Wiki where the planets are listed. You can pretty much find anything there. Granted a quick google search will probably yield you with a crap ton of information. (And I always recommend Firefly the series or Serenity the movie, lol RP or not, that was good stuff :P) - If you have any concerns or anything, just drop me a line. It is pretty straight forward. Space Western, space ships but wild west areas and dress, all human races, no magics or anything to deal with.

That's perfect. For the record I did watch Firefly and Serenity, which is why I am so interested in this, but that was years ago.

About the character sheet, or specifically the appearance section: Do you allow cybernetics? I'm talking about crude ones, even the kind that's only cosmetic and nothing else. And is it ok to use drawings (or, le gasp, anime) for appearance pictures?

Yes, I am back from a hiatus - It is so exhausting being in games that die one after the other. From your rules I can see you've had your share of those.

I'll get to work on a CS right away. Do you have a good source of canon lore I can use?

So uh, while I love firefly, and am definitely attracted to this setting as well as the expected level of RPing, I do prefer a small reversal in the aforementioned "approval" process - If you must check my posting habits, I'd prefer you do that before I submit a CS. I work hard on those and being denied on an unrelated technicality would be a huge bummer.
