Your character is very interesting, I suggest putting hiders on your character images as they are a bit large! On the other hand your skills seem a bit 'high-level', meaning they are described in a very powerful manner. Remember that you are starting off as a beginner warrior so don't expect black flames emitting from your sword, think of skills that use up a lot of stamina than your used to our a special backflip that leads into a striking attack. A majority of these skills are good for a high-level warrior but does not fit a low-level warrior! ^^ Also I forgot a very vital part of the character sheet which is the background! Sorry, I'll try to clarify.

I'm not sure if you're differentiating between skills and abilities. Skills in my mind being how skilled you are at a task, and abilities being things you cast; sword lasers, temporary stat buffs.

There's no real universal standard on the terminology so I get turned around from time to time.

One final question: Are skills limited to improvements in their ability to perform actions (like crafting, making magic items, etc) or do they include game-like attack/defense abilities?

I was actually thinking an older character.

Just as I saw the interest check for this I had been discussing writing my own isekai story as a sort of parody but in the sense that it averts a lot of tropes.

Basically, a VERY southern middle aged man, a real country boy. Grew up working on a cattle ranch and all that. A sort of super sensible team dad kind of guy, but at the same not as familiar with things like anime and manga where isekai stories would be common so he isn't exactly prepared to live in a fantasy world, maybe has trouble adapting but keeps giving it his all because he knows the world needs him.

And I realize this probably sounds like a joke or something on paper, but I take my character writing VERY seriously.

So, a couple questions:

Is there an age limit, or do they have to be teenagers as is typical of the genre?

If I want to discuss balancing/function of class skills and my preferred boon should I PM you or ask in-thread?

What sort of magic system will we be looking at for spellcasters? There's a few core types and what character I end up building depends on which one it is; or if it's a hybrid.

If there's room for one more, I'm pretty interested in Isekai in general and especially the last couple months.

If there's not room for more, maybe keep me in mind for a backup.

There's a few question I'd like to ask, but I'll wait until the OOC is up to ask them in case the answer is inside it.
