Bob sat there listening to the floating UFO. The thing barely finished speaking and he already had an opinion for the thing. He spoke again, his engine finally going quiet from dying on him again. "Now you hold on a second, I am not following an ogre anywhere. This thing isn't bright and I'm not that patient. How about you just tell me where you are and I just walk there? It would be far faster than waiting for an ogre to point a direction and forget what they were doing few seconds later. I might even call your bluff on that machine. You just want to hoard your scrap." By the end he was nearly shouting. He was so used to being heard over his engine, wait a second.

He had to stop and punch his armor a few times and he waited. After a few seconds it finally revved up again. Maybe a new piece to fix that. He looked at the large ogre. This thing looked dim and just stood there unblinking. This was some team to recruit such a moron. No, ogres are tough, and they just heal most wounds quickly. Perfect meat shield to use in a battle. He turned his head to the pile of scrap. No sense wasting time for the UFO to reply. He was looking for a spare piece, something that might improve his battery, or maybe it just needed a jump start. No matter, he was lost in his own world inspecting pieces of metal for something that looked interesting.
@6slyboy6 Might I remind you things go boom if you want to start something with Bob. I am not afraid of blowing up half a building and probably myself if it's needed to stop Grox. Or light him on fire, electrocute him, insult the dumb orc... The list goes on, Bob might even take that shiny axe from you. Not like a "proper orc" really needs a weapon when you can just punch things, right?

@KRIEEEG A cyborg goblin? I mean, I'm like three steps from there already, but keep talking. I would ask what are the chances of survival, but nah. Goblins have a bad habit of surviving things most people would have expected them to die by.
Bob wasn't that interested in most of the Minotaur's conversation. Scavenging was far more interesting, it was like a giant puzzle. Which piece could be used to finish his next invention? He was barely paying any attention till Zokox Exlpobomb was mentioned. He jumped up and looked towards Osgar, now he had his attention. With a clanking of parts, smoke, and the crackle of static surrounding him, he stepped out of the mountain of scrap. Or was the mountain moving with him? He had a scowl on his face, and looked like Osgar hurt his pride. He opened his mouth, the first few words being interrupted by more backfiring on his back.

"-you overgrown Minotaur. My inventions are far superior to any piles of junk that Zokox can ever build. I have harnessed the elements at my fingers, he just cheats with magic. How is it even a machine if you cut corners like that? I swear, you blow up a building three times and suddenly It's my fault. He stole that title of best inventor in our tribe. Sabotage and slander, he knew I was going to be declared the best so he had to cheat. My inventions don't fail, so he must have swapped my stuff for his poor quality equipment. He stole my designs, and my hard work. I should be the best inventor, and he darn well knows it..." He had a lot more he was going on about, but most likely, no one was paying attention to him anymore. He was steaming heavily from this, both figuratively and literally.

Turning his head to the ogre, he shouted at the ogre, "You there, rocks for brains. I don't care why you are here. If Zokox is involved, I will join whatever stupid quest you are on. Wait, Y... You don't mean Yashar do you? Oh, this is perfect. If I help you out, I can get rewarded as well. Then I can finally get back at Zokox. The great and powerful inventor Bob helps Yashar out. That settles it, I'm joining your quest. You can thank me for being helpful now." He gave a jump, his various gear clanking around, generally making more noise. If an ogre was involved, then he was probably going to be the smartest person involved. He can use that, no, exploit it.

His scheme was cut short when a small UFO with a crude sign tacked on it showed up near the ogre. The scrap this thing could be used for if he tore it apart. He was wondering if he could figure out how to make hover boots using this thing when it spoke. It spoke of it being a summon, someone named Grox and it was trying to help this ogre. He walked up to the strange UFO and spoke quickly, "Finally, someone intelligent enough to talk. So who are you, and how do I get in on whatever deal is good enough to get so many people together? If you don't feel like talking, I can always take this thing apart."
Thanks for pointing out that I was using a color already in use. I fixed it, unless someone is using purple already. This could become a long chain of colors if that happens.

Escalating campaign? Yes please, imagine the story of this rag tag group of monsters one day becoming god killers. They will speak legends of the day ogres, orcs, goblins, spiders, skeletons, and half elf/humans teamed up to cause destruction. Leave no corpse uncharred, no treasure unlooted, and no quest uncompleted. Fear our might, for one day we will probably kill each other. That day is not today. Today, we need to go to a freaking inn and prepare to collect Yasha's shiny trinket.
Randar Xenil

What was this girl? She moved like the wind and carried so many Dissonances with her. Even launching her like a cannonball at a wall, she was coming back already. It was looking to be a game of ping pong, until she fell short. With a last word of cursing Randar, she fell unconscious. She may be a horrible person, and she did deserve the grand act of death. However, Randar wasn't that kind of person. He slid down Cothyl to drag the girl away from the titan fight. She was gonna wake up eventually. He had questions, and he already knew many others wanted her alive. This time, he was gonna make sure she wasn't going anywhere.

With the girl no longer distracting Cothyl, he could finally focus on the fight with the Dissonance in front of him. Perhaps the dragon was too quick, or just wasn't in sight. Maybe it left to go help the others that were in danger. It didn't bother Cothyl though, if you want it done right you have to do it yourself. Size wasn't everything, it's what you do with it. With a mighty roar, he went into battle. He went to shoulder ram the thing off it's two legs. slash, swipe, bite, it wasn't exactly a plan. just play by ear, all while dodging acid. Perks of being a huge Spirit, you don't worry too much about incoming damage, so you can focus on dealing it.

Randar was busy treating the girls wounds. The point of keeping her alive would be wasted if she bled out. He wasn't planning on doing more treatment that critical wounds. Anything considered life threatening, she was an enemy, not a dying civilian. She caused all of this, and she was gonna see justice for this. He took a moment to pull out his piccolo, and played a slower song. It was mainly to help speed up her healing. Doing this might wake her up, but it was still better than letting her die. Once bare treatment was done, he planned on making sure she wasn't going anywhere. Considering the chaos around here, it wasn't likely anyone would have the time to take care of this. Randar made sure her weapon was moved far away from her, and had to wait and see if she was gonna make it through or die. The extra time to make sure she was tied up probably helped as well.
Somewhere in the junk pile, a goblin was looking for his next big invention. He would have gone unnoticed as planned. Until the monstrosity on his back backfired again. It made a loud bang and smoke flowed upwards from it, quickly heading out any cracks or openings in the building. "Blasted thing.", was all that came out of his mouth as he gave a hard punch to the front of his armor. After a bit, an engine hummed it's revival as he was satisfied with it working again.

He made no attempt to get closer to the ogre. Instead, he was looking through the trash while talking. "So, what's an ogre doing here in a blacksmith's shop? I never thought you guys were bright enough to be errand fetchers. Or did you need someone to hold your hand?" With another obnoxious cloud of smoke coming off him, he held up a busted piece of scrap. Whatever it was, he looked at it like he struck gold. He was quick to pocket it. After all, they were just useless scraps to most.

When he stood up, he was covered in junk. There was just a mountain of various objects, weapons, and junk attached to him. Smoke was steadily surrounding him, and everything gave off sound. Gears turning, engines humming, the occasional spark of electricity. He almost forgot to introduce himself, that had to be corrected. He turned to the ogre and spoke quickly. "My name is The Grand Royal Doctor Maxwell the Third. I'm sure you have a name, but it probably has stick or rock somewhere in there. Although, if you are here, it seems something is about to happen. Oh, you probably have no clue what I'm saying, let me try again. Ahem, why ogre here?"

People were leaping into action. As planned, the Dissonance had it's eyes focused on Cothyl. Until the green dragon decided to jump in, well, more like sliding into the fight. This Spirit had both courage and a mouth on it as it yelled, "Back off. You can pick at this shit's corpse when I'm done burying it." Cothyl shook his head, stick to the plan. Once the Dissonance came crashing back down, he planned on punching it as hard as possible. Usually, he was larger than his opponent, so his options were a bit limited. It doesn't mean such a simple plan won't hurt a lot though.

Randar predicted right, she managed to stop 5 shots with her massive blade. He caught a break with the one that hit her thigh. Alright, that should slow her movements some. In a battle, reaction is the difference between a lethal hit, and a grazing blow. The girl just kept talking and it was making Randar beyond mad. "You don't scare me. I can take you on any day of the week!"

The girl was faster than he expected, despite the injury she just kept going. Aiming at a target doing serpentine movements, she knew how to make sure she avoided his weapon. It was a flash, she already was bringing her axe down on him. All he could do in a moment like this was swing around Cothyl to the other shoulder. She was quick, and he was gonna be stuck on defense. He was a weak fighter by himself, so he had to keep her at a distance. Course, when the very ground you are standing on is a Spirit, he already had the home field advantage. he looked upwards and told Cothyl, "Got a gnat on you, get rid of her."

Cothyl simply moved a hand to swat the girl. Considering she just ran into him, this was gonna hurt. Perhaps even grab and squish her. If she ran away, maybe she would be persuaded to not do this again. This should buy Randar time to go back to shooting at her. He aimed his gun and resumed the shots, gotta slow her fast movements. He was aiming to cripple her legs, that should stop her cold.
I shouldn't have said immersion, bad choice of words. Simply if the mysterious girl can fly. I was making a point at how she was on ground level jumping around 12 feet up into the air to hit Randar, who was on Cothyl's shoulder. I'll just assume she apparently can do that and work with it. I'll roll with it, and get one up tonight.
Sorry, I've had a writers block for a few days on this. If I recall, Randar is on the shoulder of a 16ft tall Spirit. This mystery girl has one of the worlds best leaps to reach the shoulder of Cothyl considering she took a shot in the leg. I keep having a break in immersion trying to figure out how she got up here from the ground. Not trying to mock what's happening, but I just keep asking myself how...
@Banana Objection. You could not possibly see this much of Bob due to his insanely large amount of equipment and full body armor. You also failed to capture his glory in all of it's radiance. He is not standing on a slain dragon with the heavens shining down on him.

On a serious side. It's pretty good. If he was without his equipment, this would be a pretty accurate drawing. So, good job.
