Probably something like 2-3 months. It only died in the end because the GM left so disputes couldn't be resolved. The player group were pretty committed.

Interesting. Interesting indeed.
In other news, I'd like to announce that I'll allow "secret" alliances in PMs. Just PM someone a conversation asking them for an alliance and if they say yes its an alliance and if they say no its not. You can also do this with proposals or something you just don't want to post in the IC but involves another nation.
Speaking of posting in the IC, will someone please do that?

It started as a war over Albania, which the player ruling Saudi and most of the Middle East, decided to intervene so the players also got split into the two factions and it was complete madness. In fairness no-one took any superpowers (so US, UK, China and Russia disintegrated IC). It was bloody good fun until the customary power playing and godmodding occurred.

But on another note, we ran something very similar to this on the old guild back in 2012 or so. It ended in a world war focuses between Bulgaria and Saudi Arabia, oh the joys of roleplaying.
