Jackson looks pretty good, I just have a couple of questions before approving. First off, what's his rank? Is he an officer or enlisted? Secondly, I assume BJ is meant to be a combat soldier rather than a typist or something, but what kind? Infantry, armor, airborne? That'll make a big difference what kind of situation he'll be put into. Also, here is a list of American bases in Japan if that might help you pick out a starting location. The majority of Army personnel are currently stationed in Okinawa, with Kanagawa coming in second. Hope that's of some help to you!

Name: Hirotoshi Ueda Appearance: Gender: Male Age: 62 Occupation: Prime Minister of Japan Nationality: Japanese Personality: Ueda is a calm, thoughtful man, one who projects a carefully cultivated image of dignified seriousness to the world. However, in spite of his gravitas, he is indecisive and reliant on the opinions of others in order to get anything done, perhaps depending too much on his advisers. His thoughtfulness can be something of a handicap- he takes a long time to make decisions, carefully weighing all variables. Brief Bio: Hirotoshi Ueda was born and raised in Niigata. Excelling in school, he developed an interest in politics early on, entering at a local level in his prefecture. He gained a reputation as solidly competent and reliable, if unimaginative, and worked his way up through the bureaucracy. He was eventually persuaded by a citizen action group to stand for election to the lower house of the National Diet, representing Niigata. Hardworking and serious, Ueda managed to make himself a pillar of his political party, working diligently towards the party line but not being so splashy as to attract unwanted press. The party considers him a useful tool and good figurehead. When the previous Prime Minister was ousted in a no-confidence vote following an embarassing sex scandal, it was almost unanimously agreed that the next man in office should be inoffensive, uncontroversial, and serious-minded- the representative from Niigata was a perfect fit. Up to two characters permitted. Name: Your character's name. Appearance: A photograph or detailed description is acceptable. No anime, please. Gender: Your character's gender. Age: Self-explanatory. Occupation: What your character does. Try to be specific, ie, I would prefer to see "biologist" rather than just "scientist". This can be literally anything under the sun, while I've suggested government officials, Monarch scientists, and soldiers as fitting in with the overall plotline, those are only suggestions. Nationality: While the story is set in Japan, you are by no means limited to playing a Japanese character. Personality:Not looking for a big Freudian profile, just a paragraph or two that helps to explain they way they act, think, and interact with others. Brief Bio: One or two paragraphs about this person's life up to now. What major events have shaped them? How do they feel about the coming of Godzilla? If you are indeed with Monarch, what unconfirmed kaiju have you been researching? Beginning Location: We're dealing with an entire country, it's good to know where in Japan everyone is located. I'm not looking for anything super detailed like "the third booth from the door in the restaurant at this address", just the city will do. Other: Anything else we need to know.

2014 was only the beginning. Where before only a handful of scientists and researchers knew the truth, there was no longer any way of hiding it, not with Honolulu, Las Vegas, and San Francisco in ruins. The running battle between Godzilla and the MUTOs had left thousands dead and the public in a state approaching hysteria. The press, the public, and the politicians were demanding something be done. The job fell to Monarch, a multinational organization dedicated to the study and monitoring of massive creatures like Godzilla. Where previously Monarch had been critically underfunded and understaffed, now major governments are tripping over themselves to provide money and manpower. Monarch is now chasing down rumors and sightings of kaiju all over the globe, even giving serious examination to mythology and folklore. However, as of June of 2016, Godzilla is the only kaiju whose existence is a confirmed and verifiable fact. Currently, the King of the Monsters is dormant, enjoying a peaceful underwater slumber off the Solomon Islands, unaware of the military and scientific vessels keeping a reverent and fearful vigil above him. The panic is slowly beginning to die down, rebuilding has begun in earnest. It has been two long years since the rampages in the US. The optimistic are beginning to think the horror of kaiju attacks will never be repeated. Soon, however, they will be proven tragically wrong. It is now June of 2016, two years after the events of the Legendary Pictures film Godzilla. While the possibility of kaiju attacks is taken extremely seriously and Monarch has been trying to chase down all possible leads, no one has confirmed the existence of any creature aside from the Big G himself. Our story is set in Japan, which you have probably guessed is (spoilers) about to face attack by monsters. I would like to explore this at a human level, though there will be plenty of opportunities for military or monster action, especially if you choose to play a soldier or Monarch kaiju specialist. I intend for this RP to link the continuity of the Legendary film with the Toho films, so any creature is fair game. I will permit player-created kaiju, provided they're not overpowered. While you are playing as humans first and kaiju second, if you manage to engineer a confrontation between kaiju, I will let you take the driver's seat for whichever monster you're connected to. This RP will be dark in tone, death and destruction abound. You will be in the middle of huge disasters, there is a good chance of getting killed.
