Name: Hirotoshi Ueda Appearance: Gender: Male Age: 62 Occupation: Prime Minister of Japan Nationality: Japanese Personality: Ueda is a calm, thoughtful man, one who projects a carefully cultivated image of dignified seriousness to the world. However, in spite of his gravitas, he is indecisive and reliant on the opinions of others in order to get anything done, perhaps depending too much on his advisers. His thoughtfulness can be something of a handicap- he takes a long time to make decisions, carefully weighing all variables. Brief Bio: Hirotoshi Ueda was born and raised in Niigata. Excelling in school, he developed an interest in politics early on, entering at a local level in his prefecture. He gained a reputation as solidly competent and reliable, if unimaginative, and worked his way up through the bureaucracy. He was eventually persuaded by a citizen action group to stand for election to the lower house of the National Diet, representing Niigata. Hardworking and serious, Ueda managed to make himself a pillar of his political party, working diligently towards the party line but not being so splashy as to attract unwanted press. The party considers him a useful tool and good figurehead. When the previous Prime Minister was ousted in a no-confidence vote following an embarassing sex scandal, it was almost unanimously agreed that the next man in office should be inoffensive, uncontroversial, and serious-minded- the representative from Niigata was a perfect fit. Ueda has spent the first few months of his administration carefully doing very little, and has yet to be seriously tested. Beginning Location: Chiyoda, Tokyo

Brief Bio: B.J. had already been enlisted in the army during the attacks two years ago. Him and his unit had to do battle against the giant Kaijus just like a lot of his brothers - despite their attempts being pointless to the colossal creatures. There was bloodshed of friends and the destruction of families. It wasn't a pretty sight to see, more like a nightmare. At this point, B.J. became more disoriented and got some mental anxiety. He started seeing things differently, as though the entire world was full of hate and war, blood and darkness. But he was devoted to fight, because war was not pretty and he understood that. He doesn't put up with pansies who think everything will be alright or that their actually fighting for their 'country'. B.J. thinks everyone should fight to merely survive at this point. War is all he knows now and doesn't see anything but that.

Personality: Savage-like, B.J. isn't the most friendly of the soldiers. He is very close to his personal unit, but aside from those few men, he doesn't really care. It's not that he doesn't have a bond, it's that he's learned to mask it. His desire is to kill all those f*cking animals and send them back to the hell they came from. He doesn't want to die, but if he does, he wants to go out fighting.

Jackson looks pretty good, I just have a couple of questions before approving. First off, what's his rank? Is he an officer or enlisted? Secondly, I assume BJ is meant to be a combat soldier rather than a typist or something, but what kind? Infantry, armor, airborne? That'll make a big difference what kind of situation he'll be put into. Also, here is a list of American bases in Japan if that might help you pick out a starting location. The majority of Army personnel are currently stationed in Okinawa, with Kanagawa coming in second. Hope that's of some help to you!

Name: Tomoyoshi Onodera Appearance: TBD Gender: Male Occupation: Lieutenant General in the JGSDF commands Central Readiness Force Nationality: Japanese Personality:Cold distant but tacitly sound mind. Brief Bio: General Onodera was born in Miyagi Prefecture in 1957. He was trouble in school often late and causing trouble. He did do well in his grades and was interested in joining the JGSDF in 1979. Onodera graduated at the top of his class in 1983. He was involved n the Hokkaido defense force army during the KAL 007 crisis, and transferred to the Western Army. In the Western Army he cooperated with the American Forces. He was involved in the Monarch evacuation of Janjira in 1999. Years later he was in charge of the forces that went to Iraq with the Japanese Forces that went there. He was promoted to Lieutenant General in 2012 and placed in command of the CRF due to his military experience. Hope that works.

Name: Terence Jean-Balfourt Appearance: Pvt. Jean-Balfourt of the French Foreign Legion on tour in Afghanistan, 2005. Gender: Male Age: 33 Occupation: Geologist Nationality: American-French Personality: Terence is a disciplined, intellectual man, shaped by his years in the military and in the field of geology. He is incessantly interested with his work, and has the ability to babble on and on about any subject in geology mentioned in conversation. He can relate with soldiers because of his experience in the military and knows how to use firearms. He has a simmering hate for the kaiju and it would not be considered prudent to turn that simmer into a flame. Brief Bio: The outcome of an adventurous private in the Legion and a Parisian banker, Terence grew up in Paris. His family home was a short bus ride away from the Catacombs of Paris - the famed underground tomb where rows upon rows of skulls sat on racks. Besides the history of the place, Terence was also intrigued by the decay of the rock the tomb was made out of. He loved studying it and taking home small chips of rock to experiment on with his school's scientific instruments. His mother also made a pretty euro as a banker, and when Terence's father was on leave the whole family vacationed to ancient ruins all across Europe. Terence was most fascinated with the old castle ruins in Britain, fascinated by the variety of rock the ancient and medieval Britons used to build their fortresses. Terence graduated from the University of Paris in 2003 in geology and minoring in history. However, this was also around the time that Terence's father was killed in action in Afghanistan. Terence felt it was his responsibility to remember his father by carrying out the same duty to his country. When he enlisted, he was miraculously put in the exact same regiment as his father, in Afghanistan. By 2005, he had fifteen kills to his name. However, Terence was wounded by a grenade in the same year and a piece of shrapnel found its way into his left leg. He was told by his surgeon that unfortunately he would have a permanent limp and had to be discharged from duty, which Terence did not take lightly. Terence finally found a job which he was really interested in - as a geologist working for a mining company based in Brittany. He made a generally comfortable living for four years and sent money to his mother in France. Until one day, when he got himself separated from a group inspecting the deeper parts of a mine, he found a mysteriously very faintly glowing green rock about the size of his palm. He finally was reunited with the group, but he never told anybody about the mysterious rock, experimenting on it in secret. He was shocked to extract living cells made of unidentifiable DNA from the rock! The day after, he was contacted by an organization called Monarch, telling him they had answers. Terence resigned from his job (claiming he had been invited by his mother to work in Paris) and joined Monarch in secret. He was told that the mysterious living cells extracted from the rock belonged to the eggs of a MUTO, probably displaced as a result of a high biological signature. Terence's aging mother was vacationing in Las Vegas when the MUTOs struck and was not found among the survivors. Terence grieved incessantly, and swore revenge on the MUTOs and vowed to kill at least one of them somehow. Godzilla did the dirty work for him, but Terence sensed that there could be more and payed even more attention to his work. Terence volunteered to be transferred to Japan last month because of certain scientific tests he wanted to carry out in Fuji. Beginning Location: Conducting seismic tests on the lower slopes of Mount Fuji. Other: Is also a devout Protestant Christian and an amazing soccer player (his favorite team is Real Madrid).

Name: Daniel Woods Appearance: A middle aged Caucasian man, with unkempt iron grey hair and a constant sullen expression. He is unshaven, and his bloodshot brown eyes suggest sleep is something he doesn't get much of. His fingers are stained yellow from tobacco use, allowing for a flawlessly polished silver wedding ring to stand out more than it perhaps would. Apart from a few fillings further back, his teeth look to be in good shape. He wears an over-the-top floral holiday shirt, something perhaps more fitting in a Hawaii setting. Khaki three-quarter lengths cover the worst of unseen scars that criss-cross his legs, and a pair of simple leather sandals adorn his feet. A leather satchel hangs across his torso, containing various holidaying items. Gender: Male Age: 52 Occupation: Unemployed, former General Practitioner. Nationality: United Kingdom Personality: Daniel is a reclusive individual, who has suddenly thrown himself into the giant jaws of life. Avoiding human interaction, whilst at the same time seeking it, is a paradox that drives most of his relationships into the gutter. He likes his drink, and has little care for his well-being, which often causes him to engage in erratic and senseless behaviour. Brief Bio: Daniel had a successful life. Always a bright pupil with an insatiable curiosity for all things, he grew up to become a doctor. Passing one exam after another, and garnishing himself with several qualifications, it wasn't long before he ran his own surgery in a quiet Cambridgeshire village. Throughout his youth and humble beginnings, he'd had his flings and flames. However, it wasn't until the young and attractive Miss Chloe Parks walked into his surgery one day, asking about the vacant receptionist job, that he truly fell in love. The feeling was mutual, and they married a year later. Two years after that, Lucy Woods, his only child, was born. In 2011, Chloe was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Several rounds of chemo and radiotherapy were not enough to put the disease down, and a surgical procedure only prolonged the inevitable. She passed away in early 2014, with Daniel at her bedside in some depressing hospice ward. Not one to be put down by things that can't be helped, Daniel took himself and his fourteen year old daughter on a holiday to Hawaii. The idea was to spend a few weeks out there, healing and recuperating after the tragedy. Alas, Godzilla's appearance put Daniel's life under a magnifying glass. Trying to leave Honolulu in the height of the chaos, Daniel and Lucy's cab was struck by a panicked fire-engine. She died instantly, along with the driver. Daniel himself was locked in the wreckage for several hours, unable to move as his legs had been impaled by twisted metal. ... Fast forward two years, and Daniel is a wreck. Alcohol rules his days, along with a few helpings of narcotics. He lost his surgery not long after Lucy's funeral, and has wallowed in self-pity ever since. Concerned friends approached him, and offered to send him off somewhere for a year - fully paid - to try and get to grips with his life. He conceded, and after spinning a globe and stopping it with a finger, randomly picked out Japan. And now here he is. Location: Tokyo, drunk and disorientated. He couldn't even tell you what district he's in.
