Amano can not help jumping slightly, casting a quick glance at the demon at the comment about he finding sleeping in the same bed distasteful. 'I have never said that, have? I just don't want him talking about he time with my mother. . .Perhaps that somehow translated into my not wanting him around me? I am so confused. . .I told him I don't mind him staying with me. . .' Quite despite himself he mumbles a little sullenly, “I never said I would find it distasteful. . .I am more than willing to share. . .” He bites his lip, knowing that there is no point in it after all. Since he claims it will be easier for him to stay in the servant's quarters he shrugs off whatever misunderstanding there may be and instead focuses on what Illiendi has to say next.

The young lord smiles at the first part, already use to early waking from a mix of his time training with his fencing instructor, and getting out of the house before his hungover brothers would get up. It keeps at least his morning a little more pleasant, despite his father never missing a breakfast, that never ending dismissal of his presence training even the finest of breakfasts. His eldest brother would often come to breakfast as well, drinking a little less that the other two now that he has a wife to come home to every evening. Amano was a little surprised the night before not t see her at the dinner table, though she has often eaten in her room to avoid the less than respectful gazes that her now younger brothers cast her way.

'Father will be at breakfast. He can meet Illiendi then' His cheek flush at the prospect of a sponge bath and is ready to turn it down right then, however the demon goes on without hesitation, so Amano holds his tongue, marking it down in his head to bring up later. On the parchment he writes down that Illiendi wishes to be sent out after breakfast for supplies, then quickly jotting above it 'Have father meet Illiendi at breakfast'. 'Father will not talk business at the table, so it will be after breakfast that I may be able to get him on his own to speak. I pray he has not important business early tomorrow. I doubt it, having spent the night out, but there is always the chance in his line of work'

Like lightning he slips a free bit of parchment to the side and writes at the top 'Plan Outline' before retuning his attention to the list being dictated by the demon. His focus is sharp, his fingers quick. Even if his writing is not beautiful, it is legible, and he looks like a professional scribe as his hand races across the parchment. 'Packing, digging around for what I think I'll need, can't forget to buy that scabbard. I know he'd do it, but I'd rather the one I know is hidden somewhere in this room. . .I liked it. My teacher gave it to me after winning that competition. . .Oh goody, I have to write up a speech no doubt, for addressing the town. That will be a treat' His thoughts turn sarcastic on him for a moment before he shakes his head, clearing away the touch of doubt of being able to carry out all these tasks.

'No I will do this. No matter what anyone else thinks, Illiendi believes that this is what I must go to become the man I wish to be, and as long as he has faith in me, I feel I can do anything. After all, I have the most unfair advantage in the world' His eyes go up to the man moving about the room, his eyes alight with the passion found only in a man set immovably on a path of his choosing. “I have no intention of letting anything stop me from turning my life into one worth living. You just tell me what needs to be done, and no matter what, I will have it done.” His voice echoes with a confidence he didn't know he had until that precise moment, but in the instant he does notice it, his head falls meekly and he stares at the parchment, doodling idly as he mutters, “Or, at least I'll do by best. . . .”

Jotting down a few things on the side, mostly a few people he wants to bid a personal farewell, he once more goes over what Illiendi had dictated then with a nod sets it aside and pulls forward a clean sheet. Writing simply the word 'Speech' at the top, he sets it aside as well and pulls the plan outline into place and dipping the quill, ready to begin working out just what to tell his father to try and convince him to let him go willingly. 'It may not be easy, depending on how seriously he takes me. Seeing as he barely even notices my presence, I doubt it will be too difficult to acquire his blessing. After all, it's one less mouth to feed' For a moment Amano wonders what Illiendi has planned for breakfast, the thought making him smile slightly.

He blinks, remembering about breakfast. Looking back up at the demon he informs him of the likeliness of his father being at breakfast. “He will not talk business at the table with me, however I should be able to get some time with him afterward. Would you like to go strait out to shopping, or would you rather be present for the talk?” A part of him prays that Illiendi will want to be there with him, the young noble feeling a lot more confident when his demon is in the room. 'Even if he's not there, I will get this done. I will not fail. . .'
Other than main characters, I don't see any reason not to freely use all the side characters freely between us. I don't like "Taking dibs" but rather, if it is going to be a reoccurring character, or it develops into one, having us talk that person out until we agree on their major points, so that both of us can use it comfortably. It's the best way I've found to work with side characters. Any one I make, feel free to use, and I hope you do not mind if I use any of the sides you make :P

Hmmmm. . . . .If you wanna time skip, feel free. I don't see anything major happening until we "Get a break in the case" as it were, or even perhaps something happening in the church itself. Do you have any idea of what you wanna skip to, or do you wanna figure that out now?
I'm having fun, I think Aryx's internal conversations with himself are interesting to read :P A part of me can't wait to see what Viltez's reaction is really gonna be :P For all we know, he'll just be ticked *Grin* I'm glad you're having fun, and don't worry, I know RL takes precedent :P
*Grin*
[6:27:42 AM] Death: *Shifty eyes* I has a thought. . .Perhaps, when Crios was new to the staff, Cho was the one to pull him at least part way out of his shell. He would visit often, maybe Crios just lost a family member to the clash or a NM on earth when he was hired, so he was a real withdrawn guy. Cho figured out right away that he was in love with the new doctor, but doesn't say anything until, like, after the doc's confession with one of those, "Well of course I love you back, silly, I've loved you this whole time!" *Snuggles*. . . .Your idea is interesting too. . . Maybe we can mash'em together. . . .

[6:29:56 AM | Edited 6:30:38 AM] Death: They knew each other as kids, then he went off for medical training. Cho has always been a natural, so by the time Crios was done with his training, Cho was already top chef, and they didn't see one another until Crios got the job, and at that point he'd just lost, say, his mother, to a NM attack, and add in that Cho's always been in love with Crios, and Crios just not realized it :P

[6:31:30 AM] Death: Maybe add in there that Crios has always been a little jealous of Cho's natural talent :P

[6:32:28 AM] AkiBlue: Mash:
With Crios new to the staff he was just staff and not head of the entire medical workforce. Same for Cho. Sooo plus Cho leaving first, mashed! I'd also say the reason they never really managed to be together was because of their busy lives. But now they get to spend so much time together because of Seishu's little group.

[6:32:43 AM] AkiBlue: Ha, jealous Crios.

[6:34:07 AM] Death: *Rolls around* I wanna have Cho top chef before Crios joins the work force, more food for the jealousy fire. . . .*Sniffles*

[6:35:02 AM] Death: And I can agree to Cho leaving for his job before Crios leaving for medical training. :P

[6:35:18 AM] AkiBlue: Haha, okay. Sounds good so far.
It is easy to see Aoba is torn. Kuro refrains from laughing, waiting for the angel's decision. After a few silent fretting moments he makes his decision and the demon nods with a smile. “That'll work. Have fun.” Slipping the book into his back pocket he watches until Aoba is out of the barn before picking up the barrels and following after. 'I know the birds are safe around him, and so is my Little Mouse, but while Dani may have the maturity of a toddler, he has the mind of the 400 year old that he is. If there is any part of my instructions he can exploit or work around, he will find it and work it to his advantage'

Humming softly he makes his way outside, glancing toward the huts in time to see Dani helping the angel out by carrying the sacks. 'Heh, I knew he wouldn't be able to resist. He gets bored so easily that if it was a choice between twiddling his thumbs or joining the clergy, he's be a choir boy before you could say hot crossed buns' Letting out a whistle he calls the pigs over, adding a feeding through to the ever growing list of things to build to make the farm better. As they all begin shoving each other around, trying to get to what their neighbor has even though they already have the same thing in front of them. Kuro can't help shaking his head at the display, a kind of pitying smile on his lips. 'So many of my kind are like this. Only wanting something because it belongs to someone else. . .'

Catching a sudden movement out of the corner of his eye Kuro stiffens as he spots Dani atop his angel. His whole body tenses, his senses casting out to see if Aoba is unharmed. He stands there, like a statue, for several long moments, until at last he relaxes and finishes what he's doing. 'He's not attaching my Little Mouse, just playing with him. Right now I feel more fascination coming off of him than anything one could consider even vaguely vicious. I suppose this counts as bonding as far as a demon like Dani is concerned' After finishing with his task Kuro casts one last glance towards the fowl pen before bringing the barrel back into the barn to put it back where it belongs.

Slipping into a more comfortable position, this being with a knee on either side of Aoba's waist and his arms crossed over the angel's chest, Dani looks hard into Aoba's face, as if trying to figure something out. He ignores any attempts to escape and anything the angel might have to say, his own thoughts blocking everything else out. His head tilts this way and that, considering one thing after another. It isn't until he can go no further that he seems to snap out of a funk, his own wings snapping outwards a bit with a faint crackling. “Hey, is it true you don't mind that my lil' brother's a demon? You know he eats human souls just like I do, right? Well, maybe not like I do, see, I don't care who I take, or at least I didn't until he put those rules on me. He kinda likes eating evil people, I don't know why, he's weird like that. Sure, they are sweet in their own way, but that's besides the point. . . .That and he doesn't eat as often as I do, which is why he's so much weaker than the rest of us. . . .” He seems lost in that for a moment before looking back into Aoba's eyes. “Well?” Nearby a turkey puts in her two cents, but the demon's gaze remains locked on the trapped one beneath him.
For a dragon, he really can be adorable sometimes :P
I fully support short posts when warranted, and with one of my partners I've contacted them through skype to work out scenes that require short posts. Your last post is about 2-3x as long as my bare minimum I ask for out of my partners, and very good by the way, which is why I told you at the beginning that I do not require my partners to match me paragraph for paragraph. I ask them to do what feels right, as long as I have 6 or more sentences to work with so I myself can reply with more than a few lines. Descriptions of surrounding, body movement, facial expressions, internal thought. All of these, put into a post, make even a single line delivered by a single character take up more than enough space to keep me from headdesking, y'know? (Sorry for preaching, it's a habit of mind, though I'm sure you've noticed :P) I've written short posts too, here and there, when scenes like this come up. I can even link you directly to some if you don't believe me :P

In other words, I agree, sometimes short posts are what is needed :P However I don't let that diminish my love for long integral posts :P *Teases you*
Awww, poor Amano :P He feels very confused and a bit frightened by the statement :P
Ah, so Illiendi is misunderstanding why the jests bothered him. Right?
