Still as a statue Yu waits, the only movement from him is the occasional twitch of tail or whisker, the winds once more warning him before going back to simply telling him what they day holds in other places around the city. 'All seems calm for now' He stays still even as the bell rings and people come pouring out of the door. His eyes drift over to where several from the evening before gather and begin talking, a few glancing his way before going into some deep discussion. 'I do not thing I like this. . .' the youkai muses, however he does not have long to think about them as within a minute or two, the one he came to see exits the building. His paws flex on the stone beneath his feet, his mouth opening into a small meow that no one is close enough to hear.

'There he is. I wonder if he is well. They were rough on him yesterday. Perhaps I should warn the mean ones off today. . .' Fortunately for both Yu and Ethan, the bullies have already decided to leave the boy alone today, the sigh of the feline sitting on the wall enough to put them on edge. Leaping down to s shorter perch after seeing the youngsters glance at Ethan and for the most part ignore him, Yu waits for the boy to pass, his head tilting this way and that as he waits. When at last Ethan comes into sight however the young man barely spares him a glance before heading on towards his home. His head tilts to the side and stays there, a soft meow once more finding it's way past his lips. 'That is odd. I thought he was curious of me at the very least'

His tails swishes back and forth in thought until at last he nods to himself. 'Perhaps he didn't recognize me. I am a cat after all, and there are real strays in this city' Hopping down from his perch he slinks off after the youth, keeping back and to the side until he senses no one nearby. With a few quick leaps he passes the boy several yards off to the side before leaping on to the path a good ways in front of the youth, sitting down and curling his tail around his feet. His protective nature is still flowing strong, telling him he needs to at the least keep and eye on the young man, and if he can get a little attention out of that, all the better.
Sorry for the little post, I just wanted to give Joseph a chance to react, and also, my post is tuck on page 5 :P This is one of the oddest forum glitches ever :P
Alexi's smile becomes warm and a little fixed as he fights the sudden urge to laugh. However he manages a half bow and a murmured, “And you too. I pray you the best of days, given the circumstances.” As Joseph leads him out, closing the door carefully behind them, Alexi holds out as long as he can before pulling away and pressing a hand to the wall, doubling over to clutch at his stomach. It's a few tense moments before the sound of giggles can be heard bubbling up out of the eccentric billionaire and the hand on his stomach goes to his mouth as he tries desperately not to bust into full blown laughter bare yards from his door. He waves to Joseph, indicating that he's alright as he once more manages to stand up strait, his laughter subsiding, leaving in their wake a slightly teary eyed goofy grinning Alexi.

“Forgive me, Joseph, I just found it all so amusing. The sudden change, the happiness after all the gloom and doom, and. . .and. . . I just needed to laugh to try and batten down all this pain. . .” The joyful tears in his eyes turn to ones of sorrow and hurt as he covers his face. After Erik took he potion, a new thread formed and while it is small, and weak, it does a good job of breaking through the barrier Alexi had put around the emotions he received from the rebel leader. His free arm, the one not trying to hide his tears, goes across his stomach as a sudden wave of nausea races through him and it is all he can manage not to spill his guts all over the carpet. He folds, falling to his knees as his mental faculties go into overdrive to try and draw the emotions back, to keep them from taking over Alexi completely. Nothing in his life could have prepared Alexi for the feelings now flooding his system. 'I am so glad he only got good feelings from me. . .Even if they grow stronger, they will never hurt him like this. . .'
'Ah well, I kinda figured he'd be vague, but really? Skipping over it entirely with just “laid on the sheets for a some time”? A part of me feels a little insulted. . .And you know, I think, next time I think I need to try harder to make it above “Laying on sheets”. Yeah. . . .That actually sounds. . . fun. . . . ' He lets out a purr, Rasha wriggling around on the pillow at the sound before giving him a rather pathetic look, then turning his attention back to Enasi. Seishu listens silently, despite his mind going deep into planning mode while his attention stays fixed on his counterpart. He recalls hunting him down fondly, flattening the little red head with a large pillow, and all his little subterfuges in his quest for tracking down the elusive Dream Guardian. 'Ah, that was fun, but yet again, he leave parts out'

When the story ends, Cho finding the whole thing cute, the little ones giggle and look to one another. Suddenly Rue crouches, his but wiggling in the air like a cat preparing to attack and Inui just looks at him confused, his eyes widening a second before the fairy leaps forward and pounces on him, tickling the nightmare minion into loud giggle fits. Rasha laughs, rolling on to his side with his tail still tucked around his lower half. Crios and the rest join in the laughter at the sudden and unexpected reenactment, however the doctor keeps working, doing his best not to mess up while chuckles rack his frame. 'Such children' His gaze moves over Rasha and he rolls his eyes. 'And not quite a child anymore. Somehow I do not feel the urge to shame him any more. . .' He brushes the thought aside, removing Rasha's plate from the bed and handing it off to Cho before picking up Rasha himself and handing him off to his guardian.

The laughing subsides and they all watch as Crios holds his hands out over Seishu, something beyond their sight and understanding happening, and all a bit curious as to what it is. Well, all but Seishu. He knows Kaila gave the doctor some tips on caring for him and understands what the beast man is doing, so he sits still, closing his eyes and calming his breath so it is easier for Crios to read him. Finn and Starla whisper to one another, there eyes darting back and forth between the guardian being scanned on the bed and each other. Harper meanwhile tries to see what's going on, squinting his eyes in an attempt to see better, however after a few seconds he gives up with a huff and decides to just wait. He holds out his plate as Cho wanders around the room, scooping up the last remnants of the mess left over from breakfast, his eyes darting back to his lover often.

Kaila finally steps out into the place Tyar had found for the guardian's entry into the nightmare realm. He and Tyar had been hiding almost all night, a patrol int eh area having lingered far too long for their taste. The last thing they need at this point is for an incident in the area, not only risking their camp, but also forcing them to hunt down another new place for the portal to appear. Kaila's gaze skips about the small clearing, the plush black grass beneath his feet feeling almost like a cushion as the trees rustle softly in a cool evening breeze. A sudden crackling draws the nightmare realm's second in command's attention and he smiles at the sight of a lighting bush getting ready to let of a strike.

And instant later a blue bolt fires out, crashing hard into another lightning bush,t he bush turning the lightning red before absorbing it, the slow buildup of it's own release beginning. The blue and purple fire bushes in the area becomes laced with green as they sense Kaila's energy coming closer, light flickers and flares dancing through the glossy gray leaves. He nods in approval, turning to look at Tyar as it steps out from the shadow of a tree a few paces behind Kaila. A white curved smile appears where a mouth would be on a humanoid for an instant as Tyar enjoys the approval before once again it goes back to just being a human shaped standing shadow.

“I'm sure the patrols in the area are already use to the sight of the bolts and other noises coming from the clearing, seeing as fire and lightning clash often, so even if a scout spots the portal they will most likely dismiss it as one of those, and with the constant energy surges in the area from the bushes and trees, there is a higher chance of us getting to safety before being noticed.” Tyar bows low before turning to lead the way back to the encampment. As Kaila turns to follow his eyes glide up, looking longingly to the stars with a soft smile. 'Soon Master Seishu. . .Soon, you will see your home again. . . .'

Crios focuses oh so carefully on his neutral emotions while he works, not letting himself get distracted least he let some of his positive energy in and end up blasted across the room none to politely by Seishu much more powerful negative energy. Most beings living in the dream and nightmare realms have little need to work with their neutral emotions, however Crios had, after seeing how much he could do for Seishu in such a short amount of time, worked with the nightmare minion until he could figure out how to do close to the same using his own natural talents. At last with a faint sigh he pulls back the invisible threads and drops his arms, giving Seishu an nod. His eyes then travel about the room and he can feel himself stiffening under the gaze of the many watching eyes in the room.
Letting out a faint sigh Alexi manages to regain his feet without looking like it was hard to do and locks his gaze on the rebel leader. “Is it really strange? For a man with muted, unenthusiastic emotions, who has never failed, and never held true passion in his heart, to suddenly be filled with the self loathing, the anger, the pure, unfettered fury that you were feeling, stronger than you have ever felt it before due to the state your body was in after so long without blood? Not to mention that little pain, for a man who has never wanted for anything, that overwhelming need for something as simple as food. . .No Erik, it is not strange. From their perspective of my emotional center, your emotions are nothing short of a touch of hell.”

He say none of this in an accusatory manner, his calm smile and relaxed facade never changing as he looks to the vampire, doing his best to try and explain his understanding of why it still hurts. He chuckles softly. “That aside, these feeling are not suppose to fade, so of course I still feel it, but now, as I did with my past pains, have managed to press it back so I can function.” He looks to the ground, sweeping his foot back and forth almost shyly. “I do not press it back too far however, since this is meant to be shared. It would be unfair on my part.” He smiles before slipping away to his wardrobe to get dressed. After throwing the doors open he strips and calls out to address the question posed by the vampire.

“As to when we may do the next dose, I would say a couple days. It is best to get to understand what is inside before moving on, and since I spend most of my day out of the manor, it will take a while if I am to actually get some sleep at all during this. The past few nights have been. . .” He lets that sentence hang in the air, the implications obvious so he lets the vampires make what they will of it. He finishes changing quickly, closing his wardrobe to turn and face the other two in the room. His robe now lay crumpled on the floor and Alexi is now dressed in an old fashioned gentleman’s pants and suit coat, both in deep purple, while his undershirt, showing from his navel up, is white, ending with a dark red cravat, his hair already pulled back into a proper pony complete with black hair ribbon.

Smoothing his hands down the suit coat to fix any wrinkles and smiles at the two of them. Wandering over to where his shoes are kept on a rack by the door he takes a seat on a low plush stool to put on ones that match his outfit. “Yes, tonight, tomorrow, and the day after to talk, and the day after we shall move on to the next dose.” His smile widens. 'This is much faster tan anticipated, however it all still fits within the margins, so everything is fine. Everything is already in place, so nothing suffers from us reaching the conclusion a bit faster than predicted' He hums softly, ignoring the fact that he just basically lied to himself, knowing full well that the faster things go. . .He shakes off the feeling, standing and shifting his feet around inside the slick leather shoes until they fit right before looking back at the other two males in the room.

Mois pokes at his half finished plate of food. It hasn't been too long since he sent his text, so he knows he's just being a bit impatient, however he can not help the rising level of worry in the back of his heart. Finally he drops his fork, lacing his fingers together as he places his elbows on the table and presses his forehead to the laced fingers as his eyes fall closed in impatient thoughts.
*Giggles* RL came up and bit me, so I won't be able to respond til tomorrow morning, but don't worry, this RP's top of the pile, so this RP will get done first when I get up! *Huggles* Tomorrow! G'night :P
Oh, I know that, and so does Alexi, and the only reason he doesn't say what he thought about Joseph bossing him around aloud is he knows how Joseph would likely react to his little joke. . . .Much like you did to reading his thoughts :P Alexi doesn't mind, in fact, he finds the 'orders' cute and adorable. *Wanders of to begin scribbling reply*
Tatsuki smiles warmly at the innkeeper, however he's not sure the youth catches it as his attention is taken by the new guests. They are a little loud at first but as the newly married young man passes his table the shinigami holds a finger over his lips when the man glances his way. He swats at the others, telling them to quiet down before throwing Tatsuki a wink. [i]'They are good kids, just a little over excited I think. He looks them over, noticing they all have already changed into their kimono, some of them have even almost got them tied right. He chuckles aloud, shaking his head as they all shove their sleeves up to eat.

As the girl picks up an apple bunny, giggling over the cuteness of it, Tatsuki reads them. Just a surface impression for now, and he smiles wider. 'I was right, they are glad to have something they recognize after their long trip' He lets out a sigh, his gaze wandering over the rest of the inn's occupants present before once more falling on Shigetoshi. His brows furrow however as he notices a blush tinting the young man's cheeks and he tilts his head tot he side, curious. However even as the questions begin tumbling through his mind he stops them. 'For now, I will let such things be. If has cause to blush, I will let him bring it up with me, I will not ask' As the innkeeper goes about his duties Tatsuki begins munching on an apple bunny, the peanut butter bringing out the flavor like nothing else can.

His eyes wander over to the plate beside his and just as he's beginning to wonder if Shigetoshi plans to have anyone sit next to him, perhaps trying to set him up with one of the sisters as an act of good faith, the object of his many thoughts recently is there. His eyes slide up, slow and calm, until at last he's looking up into the youth's eyes. He had picked up a second bunny to munch on and having just put the tip of the bunny's nose in his mouth he cuts a rather cute figure as he looks up at Shigetoshi curiously. Without a word he nods and smiles, tilting his head to the side to signal for him to take a seat before finally biting into his apple.

Shifting to make sure the young man has plenty of room he smiles at him once more and scoops up some peanut butter so he can finish his apple off quickly. He decides to stay quiet for now, save to whisper softly, “I do hope you do not mind my intrusion on your kitchen without telling you.” He smile becomes a 'forgive me?' smile as he adds, “I also pray you enjoy your meal. . .”
Kuro looks over all the stuff the angel put away, smiling at how neat and orderly it looks despite his obvious haste to return to the quarrel outside. 'He is nothing if not efficient. Nothing odd ended up in the fridge, and the put the dried stuff here, the boxed stuff there. . .and the spices. . . .' He glances over at a rickety old spice rack hanging on the wall and frowns slightly, not spotting the spices he bought. It only takes him a minute to find them tucked, label up, in a drawer. 'Ah, well, these. . .' He reaches out to pluck them up to be placed properly, however he pauses, his hand outstretched. He glances once more at the old worn spice rack and lets out a sift hum. Pulling his hand back he hatches a plan and sliding the door shut he turns to head back outside.

He stops once more however, turning back and pulling the rack off the wall. Looking it over carefully he wanders over to the back door attached to the kitchen and opens it slowly. 'I think. . . .this will be fun. . .' he muses, tossing the old wooden thing out into the tall grass at the edge of the property. He decides to burn it later, not wanting to spend too much time away from Aoba, especially since, after turning around, he notices Dani is no longer in the run. He decides to walk around the house rather than heading back through the building.

He comes around the house just in time to hear Dani say something about moping and it having been a day already. “What's been a day?” Dani whips around rolling on to his back before bouncing to his feet a few paces away from Aoba. He shows his fangs to Kuro but otherwise looks calm, however he keeps his distance from the angel for now, not wanting to step on another land mine and fall into another fight.

“It’s. . . Been a whole day since he got booted, and he's still sad! I was just telling him to get over it!” His tone is rather 'look I'm being nice' however his face falls a bit as Kuro shakes his head. “What? Am I not suppose to try and help him feel better? Not that I really care, but I bet he'll be much more fun once he stops being such a downer over stupid stuff. . .” He pouts while Kuro sends him a sharp look.

The taller demon walks over to Aoba, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder, pulling him into a half hug before addressing his brother. “It may be stupid to you, but until you get it through your thick skull that he's different from us, and most definitely not you, you just won't get it.” He waves vaguely to the skies above. “He liked it up there, even with the way they treated him, and it's not only his own feeling that have been hurt here.” He glances at Aoba before going on, unsure if even he realizes what the truth of what the demon is about to say. “Angels are so connected to Yahweh that when they're kicked out, it's like getting a piece ripped out of them. Remember when Pops tore out your heart? Imagine that ten times over. And the pain doesn't go away as fast as ours did since he then has to deal with the pain of losing his grace. He had his grace far longer than we had our hearts, and we knew we were going to have them taken.”

Kuro had peeked at the book of all knowledge as often as he could, and one time he cam across such things. The section on angels had been particularly interesting to the youngest son of Satan, however he had been unable to read it all. However, the banishing process. . .He'd been able to get through all of that before his father called him away for one thing or another. 'I'm actually a little surprised at how well the little guy has been taking it all, but I think the distractions are helping' With that thought in mind Kuro pulls Aoba with him as he heads towards the back of the barn. Looking at Aoba he smiles, “It's time to bring the animals in. We'll get them out earlier tomorrow so they will have more time to graze.”

Meanwhile Dani plops down into a sitting position, his mind going a mile of minute as he's listened to his brother, but now that he is moving away he actually takes some time to think about what his brother said. 'It really hurt to lose my heart, I remember that. And yeah, I knew it was going to happen, but did that make it hurt less? Well, since I knew I wasn't gonna keep it, I really didn't use it, and I guess the toy used his grace all the time, since that's what angels do, so. . . .I guess it would be like losing my magic forever, with the pain of losing my heart, but worse, and it lasts a long time. . . .That sucks!' Looking over to where Kuro and Aoba vanished he tilts his head. 'How does he not just collapse under all that crap?'
Lord Kenneth Hughes, master of the manor, and one of the richest merchants in town, is in a very good mood. His loud booming voice almost echoes in the large room as he regales his wife and younger sons about the deal struck just the night before with a spice dealer who has fond a cheaper way of shipping his goods. His sons half listen, knowing that such thing are important, that and their father would box their ears if they ignored them entirely, however they both saw Illiendi enter the kitchen, and they both together wonder quietly what the new servant has planned. They both also seem a little humbled this morning, last night's events fresh in their minds. However Kenneth notices nothing, far too pleased with himself, and his wife shows more than enough admiration for his feat, fawning over him like he was talking about having just slayed a dragon.

The events of the night prior are still fresh in her head as well, but it is not until Illiendi appears with the first part of their morning meal. She, like a proper lady, completely ignores him for the most part, only shifting to sit up a little straighter as the food is placed before her, giving it a quick sniff before returning her attention to her husband. Tawney stills as the new servant comes close, however Burtis shoots him a rather withering look which goes unnoticed by the demon, or so he assumes. He wonder idly where Raoul is, glancing at the seat at their father's left hand. Normally he would be here right along with the man, however the boys both assume he has something better to do. They had even joked quietly before that he 'had a wife to take care of' earlier, but all whispering stops as Illiendi approaches.

The master only pauses for a moment to listen to the man, wondering why he felt the need to interrupt his in the first place, however at his last announcement about being “his son's” manservant he is thoroughly distracted enough to actually give the man a proper look. His merchant eyes light up at his exotic look, his refined manner, and now that he thinks about it, obvious skills at cooking. Kenneth can not deny his love for food, his wide, solid frame set with a decent amount of fat without appearing truly disgusting, and as he gives the food a closer inspection while the man walks off, he finds himself pleased. “Finally! A servant that knows how to treat the meals in this place.” His loud laugh is accompanied by his wife's titter, his sons joining in with nervous laughter that ends quickly. As their father's eyes turn on to them, obviously about to ask which one of them hired him, they both shake their heads in unison.

As he gives them a curious look Burtis speaks up. “Neither of us father. We did not order him, Amano did. Says he ordered him from overseas. Marth I think he said.” As he speaks Illiendi reenters and the father this time watches him closely. At the mention of Marth though his eyes go once more to his sons. Tawney nods in agreement. They both know that Amano did indeed say he was from Marth, however Burtis hates acting as if he ever listens to the runt.

The robust man goes back to watching Illiendi then with a hearty laugh he sounds the table with hand, shaking his head. “What a boy, doing such a thing behind my back. Head in the clouds that one, but occasionally he gets things right! Marth! That's incredible! I hear they have very good servants there. Well trained, loyal. What a catch!” He turns to address the demon disguised as a servant. “So, tell me, what is that little slip of a son of mine up to?” Illiendi is spared having to answer as just at that moment Amano walks in and the lord attention immediately slides from the demon, to his son. “Amano! Over here boy. Come, tell me what all this is about you sneaky devil!”

Amano resists laughing outright at the irony of his father's last statement, settling on a half smile. He walks up to the table, the demon holding his chair for him beside his mother, and takes a seat. Catching Illiendi's arm gently on his way back to the kitchen he motions the man down close. “A lime wedge for my tea please, and my sister-in-law will not be joining us for breakfast.” As soon as he is done speaking with his new manservant the youth turns his attention on to his father, giving him an appraising look. Amano's posture is perfect, just the way Illiendi taught him, and with a warm smile to his mother he at last addressed his father.

“Father, I know your distaste for speaking on business at the table, however would request a moment of your time after the meal to discuss matters of great importance.” Despite his perfect execution his older brothers roll their eyes at their little brother 'trying to sound official and proper' however their father's gaze goes from being merely curious to truly interested so they remain silent. Kenneth gives his son a hard appraising look before nodding and turning his attention on to his meal. The youngest son resists the urge to let out a long sigh, having jumped the first hurdle with no trouble, however he knows better, instead giving his mother another smile.

She gives him a supportive smile back, and Amano wonders offhandedly if she really is supporting him in this, or if she is just being 'a good mother'. 'Only time will tell I suppose. I really hope this all turns out well. . .' Sensing some of his old doubt creeping in, tempting him to hide his face as he usually does, he reaches up to touch his brand for strength, pretending to check his pocket for a handkerchief. No one pays any mind to the touch and Amano feels himself relax. 'All is well thus far. All can go well, if I just let it. . .'
