*Kuuuuu* *Rolls around waiting patiently*
Yays! Glad you feel better. You no stress yourself, only reply if'n you has da strenth :P
1. He look for unbroken spirit, intelligence, and ones that are either fresh(Just caught), or haven't been a slave long. The auction, since it's a high class one, would most likely have unspoiled, visually appealing slaves, no the drudgery or hard labor type slaves, and children. Children are at the top of the list for Alexi, wanting to get them young before being totally down trodden, however if it already looks like the youth's spirit is crushed, Alexi normally just reminds himself that they will all be free one day.

2. And e-card would be basically a signed permission slip from Alexi, allowing Joseph to act on his behalf, only ever given to slaves like Joseph who have either been hard broken, or serving so long that they no longer are at any great risk of rebellion. It would go into a wristband that would identify him as Alexi's slave and not only act as a promise that Joseph will behave, but also alert Alexi if anyone tries to lay hand on Joseph to either try and hurt him, or re-sell him. Joseph would just have to call for help and Alexi, along with the guard who scanned him in, would be alerted. It will also activate if Joseph falls unconscious, or doesn't return at his scheduled time, tracking him so the security people can find him. It's not fool proof, but it works fine for the high class auctions and exhibitions. Slaves are only in real trouble when sent out to the more skeevy sellers.

3. Why thank you *Bows*
Joseph's voice calls through the pain, drawing his mind, caressing his heart. The love and concern behind his voice seems to remind his emotions of how loved he is, how much those beloved to him care. 'I am not a failure. I am not the cause of the death of those slaves. I have lived a life apart from the horrors he has. . .How can he blame himself so much. Despite his place in the words, he is most definitely not the center of it. . .' He hums softly, taking in his head slave's words with a sigh and a smile. 'Once again, he gives me orders. Perhaps I really am becoming rather pathetic in his eyes to have him once more treating me like a child. . . .No, he just cares for me that much. . .'

His head comes up, once more the life and confidence the lives his life in shinning out from his eyes as he looks upon his once mentor with a determined look. 'Forgive me, my friend, but I will not give up now. . .' His thoughts need not be made into words, the man who raised him since birth recognizing the look in his eyes instantly and adjusting his pleas accordingly. “Sweet Joseph. . .” He murmurs softly, using the vampire's shoulder to regain his feet. Holding tight to the slave's arm he continues his trek towards the stairs leading down to the front hall. He lets out a long sigh as the stairs come into sight. “The meeting this morning can nor be moved on canceled, and if I do not meet with Gidian today he will be gone for god knows how long and I will not get the files I need.”

His voice is soft, comforting as he can manage even as he slowly regains control of his pain. 'Well, Erik's pain' he muses silently. “The meeting with Gidian is an early lunch, and after that all I have is an exhibition. . .”He trails off giving Joseph a serious look. “If you really want me to spend time talking with him sooner rather than later, I can write up an e-card for you and you can go to the auction for me. It is a top class show, so I understand if you would rather not, but I have not missed one yet this month and if you do not want to go I will have to, for appearances.” He smiles softly. “You know what I look for in a slave. . .” He sighs again. “If you go, I would be willing to come home early an spend more time with him, as you ask.”
Seishu's head tilts to the side, the sudden surge of energy from the fairy confusing him. 'He's been around me the longest, but that surge. . . He's never let it just overcome him like that before. . .' His mouth splits into a slow smile, recognizing quickly what's happening to his Little Bite. 'His powers are growing. He's transitioning. I wonder how fast it works over here in the dream realm. . . .' He chuckles softly to himself, quiet enough that no one pays him any mind as he turns his attention on to the doctor. As Crios describes his exercise for the day Seishu hatches a plan, looking down at Rasha with a mischievous smile. The cat thing takes the hint and hops off the bed, transforming into his humanoid form.

'I'll keep an eye on my lord Seishu, and make my move when he gives the signal. I wonder what's up' He can not stop the pool of happiness bubbling up inside him, glad to be helping his idol with a bit of his mischief.

Seishu meanwhile lets out a long groan, earning some giggles and a bit of bouncing on Rue's part. With a roll he throws his legs over the edge of the bed, the siblings stepping away from the wall and doing little stretches of their own. Harper excuses himself for his morning patrol and Cho, after a swift peck on Crios' cheek, bounds out of the room with a wave, the stack of dishes and the like looking a lot like a great wobbly tower. Crios rolls his eyes, also excusing himself to tend to the rest of his patients and those left look to Seishu waiting for him to rise.

He smiles, stretches, tickling Inui until the little minion rolls off the bed in a fit of giggles only to be caught by Rue. The fairy grabs him under his arms and floats him towards the door, his wings working double time to keep them both aloft. 'Ah, so adorable. . . .If I wasn't so use to it, I would be sick right now' As Inui gets set on his feet Seishu finally finds his and stands, wandering around the bed until he's at Enasi's side. His lips pull back into a wide grin, his fangs gleaming innocently as he motions for Tweedle and Dee to lead the way. Is hand slides around Enasi's waist and his gives Rasha a secret look, to which the dream subtly nods in reply. He is ready to help when the Nightmare Guardian needs it.
The halfbreed's head remains bowed even as he stiffens, the sound of someone approaching putting him even more on edge than before. 'I can't, I can't face him now. Please, please, just let me sit for a while, let me think. I need to. . . I need some time to fix this. This torrent inside, I don't understand it, and I don't know how to explain it. Oh, please, just let me be. I am not someone you want to be around. Find someone better, find someone more worth your time. . .Someone whose body does not betray him at every turn. . .' A part of Viltez knows better. The man, while seemingly ignorant about many things, seems more than willing to go out of his way to break through his confusion to learn the answers he seeks, and if he is following Viltez, the question is obvious.

When the footfalls stop, the sound of the stranger's voice calling out to him, Viltez lets out a long sigh. The feelings around him, tickling his skin, pressing against him, force him to respond, his tense body suddenly falling slack. “I am here, mister Aryx. . .” He remains curled however his face tucked away in his knees, his tail coming to settle in a half circle around his feet. He speaks just loud enough to be heard, putting no real thought behind his words, instead speaking naturally, from a place he does not recognize.

“I really did not mean to insult you, and I am not upset at you, but at my tail. I do not know your customs, but I will tell you now that the kind of affection my tail was showing you, the feelings behind it I could sense, touching you like that without asking is inappropriate. I recognize it's action, like those of the woman in town who wish to take to my bed, and despite what my tail thinks of how I feel, I would never. . .” His head spirals with the folly of his words, however he quickly presses on. “I do not know what I am saying any more other than, if a woman were to touch me that way, it would be considered highly inappropriate and taking liberties with my personal space that would upset me greatly. . .”

He at last manages to draw his head up, but only enough to look in the dragon turned human's general direction. “It is not that I was insulted by it touching you, it was my fear that I insulted you. My tail fully intended to draw you full against me if that's what it took to keep you from moving away, and that is beyond impolite. It is my shame that I could not even control it's idle whims that angered me so mister Aryx, nothing you did. . .” As he falls silent he head drops once more to his knees, his tail trying once more to wrap in close. This time Viltez accepts the comfort of the touch and just squeezes his eyes tightly closed, trying to block out all the world around him. The energy in the air still plays cruelly with his body, however he still can not understand the new odd sensations.
*Shrugs* I just figured such a radical change may require them to be closer to the source of their power. . . . .You can have Aysus drag Tahaan away if you don't agree :P
Kuro can not suppress a chuckle as Aoba talks about wrangling turkeys and reaches up, ruffling his hair gently. Pulling him in close he presses a warm kiss to the boy's temple before tugging on his hair softly. “The turkeys and the chickens can take care of themselves, they'll bed down when they're good and ready in their appropriate shelters, don't you worry. The only ones we have to take care of are the cows and chickens.” He waves a hand” Larger farms with more room to graze can leave their animals out overnight, sheep mostly, however we don't have the room here to be letting them eat as much as they want for as long as they want. We'd run out of grass.”

Thinking back to where it was left Kuro decides to assign the book Father Gerard had left them as reading material for bedtime reading as they pull up to the gate. Looking over his shoulder he whistles for Dani. The smaller demon appears a few seconds later, looking at his little brother with a curious gaze. Kuro gives him a smile and point off to where the cows and sheep are, spread out across the area. “Care to give us a hand? You get to scare some animals.” Dani's eyes narrow, trying to judge if Kuro is telling the truth. Finally he gives a little nod and a shrug. Kuro grins. “Okay, the job is easy. You need to scare those animals,” He points to the cows and sheep, “Through this gate. Think you can handle it?”

Dani snorts. “And I thought this might be something actually challenging. I can do that, easy.” His wings crack as the snap out, ready for flight.

As he rises into the air Kuro looks to Aoba. “Go in the barn and make sure the right pens are open, then take up the place you were in before. I'll stay here and make sure they don't bolt for the road. Through this little avenue between the fence and the barn.” He smiles warmly. “You can handle it, just keep your wings out so they see a wall and turn.” Once Aoba is on his way Dani takes off like a shot, rocketing around the field. Not really knowing how to drive them as a herd only one or two animals come towards the opening at once and the risk of the angel getting trampled stays very low.

~*~*~*~*~

The arc angel slides into his chair, a minor emergency with one of the younger staff and a concoction it wasn't ready for having cropped up in his absence now dealt with and all things in heaven now back on their normal course. He heaves a long sigh, trying to relax. However it isn't long before he finds his gaze wandering to the right hand drawer on his desk. Inside he swears he can almost feel the mirror calling to him. His over protective instincts making him feel that perhaps it is. Perhaps Aoba is in trouble, and calling out for help. 'Which is complete folly. Even if he was in trouble, he would not be calling out. . .Not for divine help at least. Last I saw, that large demon was taking care of things rather well, despite it all. . . .Why. . . .'

He shakes his head, slamming his mind down on that line of thought, already given himself a headache trying to figure out the 'why' of it all. With another long sigh he almost has to force his hand out to pull open the drawer holding the mirror, then with trepidation he uncovers it, looking into it's depths. It takes a few seconds for the image to clear but when it does and he spots the little angel once more, he can not stop the ache in his chest from once more seeing those gray tainted wings.
“Yes, that would be nice. Do not linger though, if you would.” Amano is unsure how long breakfast will take, his father quite enjoying the meal so it may be shorter than most. 'It should not take too long for him to bring her food, and she may do well having someone like him around for a few moments. He seems to inspire people, and that smile could melt butter when he lays it on the way he seems to with the others' While Amano does not enjoy false smiles, he knows others do not really care if a look be false, caring only how it makes them feel, and Liddia is one of them. He listens silently as his father once more launches into the story about his deal, paying attention the way he always had learning quickly that it was the best way to avoid getting smacked. Even if his father never had faith in him to become anything great, he still did not tolerate his children ignoring him.

As Illiendi drifts back out the young man smiles at the approving gleam in his father's eyes, only a faint unease tinting his pride as he fears his father may and try to buy the demon away from him. 'I know very well that he is bound to me, however I can not tell my father that, nor can I see him not at least putting up the offer to Illiendi himself. Well, he is very good at being polite, he should not have any trouble turning father down without jeopardizing our little venture' He smiles, a murmured, “Thank you Illiendi.” before he practically floats around the table topping off drinks before vanishing once more into the kitchen. About the time the demon slips past to bring Liddia her plate Kenneth finishes with his story and asks Amano what he thinks. Not wanting to sound a fool he thinks over the story carefully before answering.

'For the most part I believe he was simply insanely lucky with that person just happening to stop by, and even if he had arranged that, the fact that it had worked was less of a skilled tongue and more of a honeyed ear from the man who came before. However, I can not very well say that and expect father to stay in such a good mood, so. . .' “Well, lady luck smiles on us all with your good fortune, and I feel you may very well have her favor to aid your already skillful execution of such exchanges.” The buttering up is just enough to keep the lord's pride intact and he laughs heartily, shaking the table with the timber of it. Amano smiles back, squeezing the lime into his tea before taking a sip.

His mother reaches over and squeezes his arm before telling her husband how much she agrees with Amano's assessment then in a slightly worried tone she asks, “And where is Raoul, where is my eldest? Did he not come home with you?”

Amano looks up as his father shakes his head. “No, no, I had him running to check on something with another trader in the market before heading home. I heard some rumors I wanted checked. Don't worry love, he'll be back soon enough. I told him not to miss breakfast.” Amano looks back to his drink, the dark liquid swirling in his cup as he thinks of just what rumors his father may be interested in. . .
It's fine, I like it actually. I has a funny conversation planned later with Mois about it, and he wasn't hiding it, not really. It just didn't really hit hum until he opened himself up in the laughter. He let himself feel for a moment, reflection on what is happening, and that little thread that was made when Erik drank, completely the circle so to speak, had an opening.
