I have a post in my head, so I'll guess I'll start and you can follow :P Seeing that you approved was all I needed for the post to explode into my mind like a firecracker :P I should go write that now *Grin*
Name: Kiel Manrass

Race: Human

Age: 24

Height: 6' 3"

Weight: 130lbs

Hair: Deep red, slightly wave, shoulder length, and kept back in a ponytail most of the time.

Eyes: Bright green

Skin: Pale but healthy looking

Build: Slender with with faint muscle definition. He's the tall lanky type.

Clothes: Catholic priest garb with white cross designs on the back of the collar and on the back of both wrists. The sleeves widen from elbow to wrist and underneath you can see a long sleeve black cotton shirt. Pants are black slacks made of soft material and are kinda tight but very flexible. Shoes are classic black male dress shoes but with thick rubber soles with good grips. The robe parts at the waist for added maneuverability and flares a bit at the bottom to give plenty of running room.

Accessories: Thick simple silver cross on a thick silver chain around the wrist, like a rosary but not.

Powers/Skills(If Applicable): None to speak of. Knows how to use holy water and basic chants to repel small evils, but since he's never had need, he's not very practiced in either.

General Personality: Kiel is a very kind young man who loves nothing more than helping those in need. He is protective to a fault over people he thinks need protecting and doesn't know when to back down from a situation when he feels he's in the right. I has a naturally sour attitude when around controlling authority figures, but around those he has respect for he is close to reverent. He is a likable guy and can win trust easily with a smile or a few kind words.

Background: As a child, Kiel lost his parents but he has no idea just how. The head of the local chapter of demon hunters took him to the nearest parish and he hasn't seen the woman since. From the age of 6 he trained int he priesthood, wanting to help others like him who are lost or have no place to call their own. As such, he spends much of his time out of the church nowadays in the slums. There he tries to help the kids get on their feet, keep themselves fed and clothed legally, and from time to time find homes for them. Two years ago he was shot in a drive-by and ever since a few of the older kids have taken to keeping an eye on the priest when he's in their neighborhood. When not out on the streets helping the kids he spends his time in his room in a small building off the parish. Behind the building is a large flower garden that he enjoys looking out through the swinging windows of his room while reading from his ever growing library of books. Despite spending a lot of time on the streets, he's very sheltered due to all the people seeking to protect him, and he has very little real world experience outside the shooting.

Well, there he is, what do you think?
Sounds good, and it works perfectly. I think we're almost done, and now I just wanna get a basic look for the village and surrounding area as well as some character sheets and we're ready. Unless you have something else?

For the village, no more than 100 people? You know, everyone seems to know each other's business and the like. A balance of ages, maybe 2 pubs, a large Inn for travelers, and the rest would be small shops and people's homes and small gardens/farms? Mu guy would live on the outskirts and prolly be self employed with tack repair or something like fletching. Running through town would be a decent road that runs from one major town to the next, with the village as a kind of way station. One way would be mountains and on the other side a city, and in the other would eventually lead to the ocean and a port city. the other two directions would be. . . The mountains curve so that they are basically on two sides, and the other way would be rolling hills that lead to a large forest with a huge lake in the middle of it :P

That's what I see, what about you?
Name: Roland Noble

Race: Human

Age: 31

Height: 5' 9"

Weight: 120lbs

Hair: Black, shoulder length, slightly curly,.

Eyes: Blue

Skin: Pale, doesn't-get-enough-sun white

Build: Slight, but strong enough to hold his own in a fight for a while, and very fast.

Clothes: Full length priest garb with a white cross of fabric at the neck, and the bottom of the cross follows all the way down the front in a thin line along the place where the robe comes together in the front. Sleeves widen from the elbow down to the wrists so they drape around the hands, and on the back of each wrist of the inner black long sleeve is a crescent for warding off evil. Bottoms are black slacks made of soft fabric and foot garb is thick soled black boots that lace up the calf a ways.

Accessories: This silver cross on a thick silver chain that hangs around his neck and dangles all the way bellow the rib cage.

Powers/Skills(If Applicable): Has basic purification spells and major banishment spells in his repertoire. He's also very fast and can strike at lightning speed.

General Personality: He is very dedicated to his work of ridding the world of vampires, but on a good day he can be seen smiling and having a good time with the local teens. He gets a thrill from battle, but is not obsessive. It is just a job for him, so he's not overly concerned with the morality behind it all. He tends to be lighthearted when not working, and very cold and distant when he is.

Background: Roland grew up all alone in a small village. The locals were kind enough to throw him food when they could, but times were hard on everyone there. His parents died in an accident, and after several years on the street he joined the local parish because it seemed like the best course of action at the time. He grew to respect the old man in charge and the old man sees him as a son. He completed hunter training with an average grade and has been on the hunt for a few years now.
Oh, and timezone? Eastern Pacific. I think. It's 3:40 AM right now, and I have a really odd sleeping schedule. I work 9-5 weekdays, and can do some responses between clients then, and I sleep right after work most days and wake some time early morning to do my fun stuffs like RP and exorcise :P
Seishu lands a glancing blow on the helmet of his first opponent and chuckles lightly as it stumbles backwards, it's helm now on backwards. The battle began in full on all sides, but the Nightmare Guardian drifted back away from the front lines. His ground length white hair, done up in a thin braid for the sake of the battle whips wildly in the energies being released by the collision of worlds. Looking back and forth across the impassioned fighters he lets out an inaudible sigh. Despite the entertaining disruption in the monotony of his day in the Nightmare Realm, Seishu had long grown bored with the pointless fighting between the two halves. Drifting down he pulls a large sparkling something or other off one of his smaller nightmare and helps the little rodent to it's feel. It chitteres wildly and charges back into the battle.

Through the din of clashing steel he feels a wave of good feelings that makes him instinctively tense. His eyes trail once again over the combatants until his eyes fall on his whining counter part. 'Hmmm, maybe he's getting bored with the fighting too. He didn't even bother to put his armor on this time around' A low growl rumbles in his throat as he watches the Dream Guardian strike out at one of his newest nightmares. It had insisted on fighting with them, despite just beginning to understand that it no longer was a slave to a demented mind. Unable to clash with Enasi directly he decides to distract him another way.

His blade whistles out and catches an nearby little dream minion in the arm, causing it to yelp in pain before turning and lashing out at a rather powerful looking dream. He can feel his heart racing at the fear pouring out of both creatures and he can't hold back the wicked grin that spreads across his lips. His cloak billows about him, his armor creaking softly with his swift movements as he strikes out again and again at the dream. His blade whistles through the are once more but stops short as the bane of his every joy steps between him and his quarry. The blade is inches from the Dream Guardian's throat, but there is nothing to fear on either side. Seishu can not strike him, and Enasi can't defend. It is the eternal balance that he and his counterpart must hold most sacred. His wicked grin widens slightly as Enasi steps back with a pointed remark.

Drifting back Seishu points his sword tip at the ground and shifts so it looks like he's sitting in an invisible chair. His clothing and hair continues to whip around if caught in a high wind and the Nightmare Guardian chuckles aloud, waving a hand. “Ah, yes, I suppose it would be. Your narrow mindedness has forever been cause for you to find the very sight of me unpleasant.” His smile shifts to one of disinterest and he lets his mind wander, taking note of the casualties thus far, as well as the little dream minion trying to retreat for healing. Before Enasi can respond Seishu feels that something is out of place and his gaze whips around to his left. Almost too quiet to hear over the din he says, “Sorry, but I must see to something. Have fun with your little fight there.” Just as he says that one of his strongest dream minions charge towards the Dream Guardian with his blades drawn.

Leaving his counterpart to his minion, Seishu drifts towards the source of the disturbance. At first he can't figure out what it is, but as he comes to a group of dreams and dream minions gathered around on of his own it strikes him what's wrong. The minion has killed several dreams and dream minions, and still continues to do so. 'If he keeps this up, he'll upset the balance. I had no idea Gin had gotten so strong. I should have warned him' Descending he wraps himself up in his fear cloak and parts the dream denizens until he reaches Gin's side. As he reaches out to take hold of the young one's shoulder Gin whips around and a white hot pain flares in Seishu's midsection. Still in shock from the pain the Nightmare Guardian doesn't even think to block the following blows. A slice to his face and then his leg brings him to his knees, and then at last Gin takes Seishu's own rapier and runs it though his shoulder.

A howl of pain finally finds it's way out of Seishu's throat, and the sound seems to rattle the nightmare denizens to the core. Gin leans in close, the sword twisting in his grip pulling more cries of pain from the impaled being. Pressing his cheek to Seishu's Gin whispers, “So, this should balance out the kills I made, right?” A wave of shock runs through his chest, numbing his mind as Gin laughs and kicks Seishu off the blade. The Nightmare Guardian falls back hard and through pain blurred eyes watches as Gin shoulders his blade and turns back to the battle. He has no idea how long he lay there, but when the battle eventually seems to settle down and the breach seals Seishu is assaulted by the new horror that he's on the wrong side of the wall. Unable to think clearly through the pain he rolls over and pulls himself with one arm into a little alcove of stone near the edge of the battlegrounds. 'How could this happen? Why?' his mind pleads silently to the universe as he curls up in physical pain compounded the hurt of betrayal.
I just hope you don't think I moved too fast. This is just how it happens to be coming out of my fingers. *Bows* Sorry if it's too fast!
Please take no offence, but I think I've seen this place before. This sounds almost exactly like Rallion of Midkemia from the Riftwar Saga(Which I own by the way). No idea where your inspiration came from, but if you have no idea what I'm talking about, then this is one of the most frightening coincidences I've ever come across :P Well, maybe a mixed city of both Rallion an Krondor, but the land itself, and the history, it's very familiar. . . . .

Anyways, it sounds really pretty, and I think I may want to make a few tweaks along the way, but I have no real objections here. I'm guessing you suppose my guy would be from the south or something? I was thinking maybe dissent in the court itself, but I can work with that too I suppose. Maybe make him. . . . . . *Grin* I have a good idea about him :P I'd like to hear more about this prince though, so I can get a feel for the plot a little better. Seems no one would have a direct problem with the king, so I could even make the motivation against the prince himself depending on his personality.
Wow, very cool, but a bit slimy :P So, for the plot, were you looking for something more modern, or Victorian, or middle ages? On earth, or out own world all together where maybe demons are a more common occurrence :P
Yeah, that's the word I was looking for. I've got a really bad memory when I'm trying to remember something :P Victorian, if you don't mind. I'd see a medium sized city with it's good parts and bad parts of town. It would give a good place for your idea for the Incubus, and I can see my Priest now. He would indeed go into the slums to help out the troubled youth :P I'll get him written down on digital paper when I wake up. I really need to sleep now, sorry. I know you may already have yer own system for characters, but I just wanna throw out the sheet I use so you can see what I like to know about the characters to make the RP easier on me. So here it is -
