Current Those you call 'police' are nothing more than law-protected gangsters. They can be bribed, tricked and threatened to shoot innocents. Make no mistake.

Ego. Like lava it flows into a roleplay from it's maker's touch, destroying the land he sought to create. Only after Ego has been cooled, can written life spring into existence again.

What do you mean.

It's nothing, I've researched the answer and have just the character to play.

I think that you should still just go ahead and make the ooc, ignore any nasty comments coming your way here.

To the 'critics': Intermingling themes? Too many personal plots? Are they really a problem? I don't think these really are problems as long as the writers participating are not attention whores. :).

Meanwhile I'll just say that the 'critique' you're having to listen to even before you've created the ooc is just silly, you can safely ignore them. Know that there's still a lot of silent support and interest going on for this!

lol, this is my advice for that: don't flatter yourself too much. Once you realize that your odds of getting published are about 100000/1, the likelihood of someone else publishing your material becomes quite slim.

I don't see him flattering himself, I just see someone erring on the side of caution. Also what you said isn't true, publishers will publish anything that is good material because it earns. As you haven't seen his material, who are you to judge?

Are you here to show interest? Or are you here to just scorn someone over the internet?
The roleplay will begin on the night before your first vventure to earn some money via the route of a mission (that you've all unanymously agreed will be the best way to quickly earn your way out of poverty), the first post of yours should summarize what you all have been doing individually till then.

Then afterthat, it will be the day Itself.

This is merely the circumstances, what
your characters do is up to you. Take this hint to imagine out your character's first two weeks in a world that's similar to a brookside village in the 1700s of an euroeuropean ccountrysde european countryside.

Monday will be likely when the actual OOC will be up!

Worry not, I will explain further in the ooc, the things you've asked are questions I've already considered before all this and had intended to clarify. But if you have any other urgent questions, let me know! :).

Yay more interests, welcome!

To answer the question. Humans dragged into this world, I have not read the light novels.

Manato's party may have a role in it, it might behappening around you all afterall. However, you will equally have a role to change things should that happen. There may be mentions, but alot of things that may happen will be dependent on you all - including how far you want to go interacting with others.

I intend to be reactive about things so yes, this will not be a linear roleplay at all. It's a roleplay, you have more space to be creative here - that includes your roles and what you do. The only certain things that you must abide are, you're roleplaying a Human and you have no acute or exact memory of our world (occasionally your subconcious may make you say things like 'video' and things but you won't really know why or what a video is).
For setting, I'm thinking west coast, LA, San Francisco, maybe a bit east into Nevada/Vegas. Time period...late 70s to mid 80s.

Gotta have a killer soundtrack, ye.

Is that the 'Noir' period that you are thinking of?
Go ahead, roleplay the way you want. My interest isn't lost. :).
Good question! I'll answer it. Yes, death is very real in this world but remember that this is a roleplay and as much as the characters are a part of this story - I, unlike many others, also consider them to be equally your belongings as writers too.

So no, I won't rob you of your characters out of nowhere unless you have a plan for it/you want to leave and would like me to do so, but I will gravely injure your characters or put them in undesirable situations at times if the circumstances align.

Though we won't be following the shoshow's/book's storyline, our group will have arrived alongside the protagonists - but with our own trials and tribulations I have installed for you. An unsung tale, if you would.

(That manato pic makes me feel sad, when he died I was like "ARE. YOU. KIDDING ME!?". )

:).
So glad to hear the interest from all 3 of you!

I'm going to take a day off this coming weekend to finish the details, so it'll be up around Monday next week (if everything goes to plan).

That alright for everyone? I'll play a narrative role (playing npcs and such to move you all along) and might not be taking part as a player myself if there's enough players.
