Current Getting new RP ideas is agonizing when you realize you need to shelf them until you're less busy.

Liam Matthews

Location: the Church
Interacting With: Aloise Zamora @Morose

"I'm really not." Liam chuckled at Aloise's suggestion of his confidence, glancing around idly as he stared at the destruction surrounding them. Something of his journalistic spirit kicked in and he found himself regretting the fact he hadn't brought his camera, this all would have made for great footage to keep and share when they got through all this. Hell, if they got through all this, Liam was still oblivious as to what the rest of the day would bring, he just didn't particularly figure it would be anything good.

As they got to the church and Aloise parked, Liam climbed out of the car as he glanced around, making no protest as he quickly moved after her, staying close as they made their way up to the church and headed inside, he didn't particularly feel like it was a good idea to stray far from the monster hunter, especially when he had no weapons of his own. When they did get inside, his eyes locked on the two strangers, instantly recognizing the doctor as Aloise spoke up for the two of them.

Dr. Chang's response was less than friendly, but, he supposed he could see the reasoning for her to be rather dismissive of any 'help' that came from strangers like them. He paused for a moment or two, attempting to think of what to say, taking a while to do so. So long in fact that Amy soon spoke up again, looking for some sort of explanation of who or why they were there. Eventually giving his brain a nudge, he just ended up blurting most of it out. "There's a demon or something after you right?" He paused for a moment, realizing how odd that would have sounded from a complete stranger, end of the world or otherwise. "I mean like, a particular one trying to like... possess you or something, or it already has? But hopefully not? I don't think so, but maybe... Sorry, I uh... I see things, and I saw you like... Demon-ey." He continued on like rather a blabbering idiot, not exactly sure how to explain himself or his abilities yet.

Darren Andrews

Location: Altsoba County Prison
Interacting With: Jade Cornish @Morose

Darren made sure to heed Jade's directions as he drove, being careful but not immensely as he moved around wrecks and the undead, trying to avoid plowing through them whenever possible as they got out of the main area of the town, heading down the emptier roads toward the jail. Getting there didn't take too long, and as he pulled up he climbed out and immediately moved to the back of his car, opening the trunk to start going through it for weapons, he didn't even seem to notice just how calm everything seemed to be until Jade said something.

Glancing up from the shotgun he'd grabbed, he looked over to the jail, raising an eyebrow at it. IT really was as if the apocalypse had just sort of missed this area, like there wasn't any worry for those inside because the demons and undead had decided to concern themselves far more with the much less deserving. However, Darren felt that was unlikely, it was probably a very different story inside. He shrugged at her question, picking up a second shotgun as he moved over and handed it to her, holding his own.

"Probably torturing and murdering all the guards inside, or in a big pile of meat left by whichever horrible creature decided to prey on all the prisoners first." He shrugged, the words suggested a joke but his tone said anything but, in his mind they were equally feasible possibilities, he wouldn't know until they got inside.

Javier Crypt

Location: Crypt Manor
Interacting With: Belladonna Crypt, @Lady Amalthea Mercurial Crypt @Morose

Javier chuckled at his wife's comment, the weather was indeed dreadful, but it certainly could have been worse, though dreadful was just how the Crypt's liked things, it was their element. His gaze turned over to the plume of smoke which came from the next street over and he chuckled softly at Belladonna's words. "Oh yes, she's quite the skilled arsonist, almost reminds me of my younger days." He grinned as he moved along with her, idly twirling his rapier in his free hand as he watched Belladonna, ever so proud of their daughter as she wreaked havoc.

Letting his gaze drift about to the mayhem in town, from the wrecked cars to the bodies of those living and undead strewn about, it was a far better day in Altsoba than there had been in some time, perhaps since they had moved in many, many years ago. He let out a pleased sigh, taking in another breath of fresh air as they went. "Truly a marvelous day."
Jackson Tanner

Location: Anisa's Bunk

Jackson didn't falter as he listened to Camilla snap, in fact, her words only seemed to rile him up more, he clenched his fist, narrowing his eyes at the woman as she went on. He was just about to snap back when he heard Anisa warn her, he caught the signal that it was perhaps just as much intended for him as it was for her, and so he stayed his tongue, Camilla however didn't seem interested in heeding such a warning as she went on. Her next words riled him up even more though - better than any of you - Jackson's knuckles were white now, the rage within him palpable as he stared down the mercenary.

Watching as she continued, Jackson reminded himself again and again to bite his tongue, he wasn't going to step out of line around Anisa, he offered her that respect and regardless of how much he wanted to scream back at Camilla, he wouldn't allow it to happen. Of course, Anisa dealt with it quickly as soon as Camilla was done. Watching the mercenary leave, he finally let his curled fist loosen a bit, knuckles slowly returning to their usual colour as he turned over to Anisa again, listening to her as he looked down. "It was my fault." He admitted plainly, he had let his anger with the man drive his tongue earlier, though he had done so not realizing the reaction it would draw from Camilla.

Gregory Quinn

Location: Captain's Office

Gregory sat in silence for a long while, eventually reaching down under his desk and into one of the small drawers. Opening it up, he reached in and pulled out a framed photograph. Sitting back in his chair, he looked over it, staring at the memory painfully. It was his and Camilla's engagement party, the two of them hand in hand and smiling happily, in a way Gregory had never seen himself in years. He sighed as he looked over it, gently setting it on his desk beside the file on her he'd been given. A hundred thoughts ran through his head, what to do, where to go, what to think or to feel.

His mind settled on one of the worse ideas. He had no idea if it would work, it was dangerous and all-in-all a terrible idea, but for once in Gregory's life, that didn't bother him, he just didn't care. Opening up his terminal, he sighed as he began to look through it, looking over the file he'd been given for reference as he made an attempt, one he believed would be impossible, to reach out to Camilla, to call the woman he loved, and hadn't laid eyes on for many years. Sitting back, he sighed as he waited, almost certain nothing would come of it.
So I may have passed out, my bad :P NOW I'm posting
Working on a post now!
I've only actually just noticed everyone calling Harry "Henry" - lol
Harry Walsh

Location: The Grand Continental Hotel

Returning Aziza's soft smile with one of his own, Harry kept what look of confidence he could, attempting mostly to shield the concern which was still lingering, more over the man who had attacked Aziza earlier, and essentially threatened her with death perhaps even more-so than his ring and its glowing. He did not expect it however as she came closer and he felt her arms wrap around him. Slowly he wrapped his arms back around her in kind, smile remaining as he looked down at her, feeling her shake a little as he let her pull away, hands lingering on her shoulders for a few moments. He couldn't exactly think of anything to say, and so he just gave her a soft nod with the same smile as always.

As they made their way out and down into the streets, Harry led the way but kept a close eye on the two women behind him, ensuring that the did not stray too far ahead as he kept glancing around. His hand was near-constantly in his jacket, gripping the sidearm hidden there as he heard in his head distant yelling in English and Arabic, a few scattered gunshots... The calls of gas... Voices, sounds that all weren't there, but sounds that were too familiar in a situation such as this, he couldn't have helped it if he tried. It just made him more jittery, more jumpy, his eyes darted around, and it was difficult to hide whatever concern he had from the ladies, though he made every effort to.

As they reached the museum, he felt a rush of calm come over him, the sounds disappeared, drowned out by reality and he slowly pulled his hand out of his jacket. His knuckles were bone white, and his palm held something of an imprint of the gun's handle, only then did he realise just how hard he had been holding the weapon as he reached up with his free hand, gently rubbing it as he followed the two ladies now, letting Aziza take the lead now that they seemed to be out of danger. Moving behind them through the halls, Harry adjusted his jacket somewhat, looking still respectable in his uniform jacket despite the casual clothing beneath, but he certainly wasn't dressed to impress either.

As they got inside however, Harry couldn't help but feel a little overwhelmed at the surprising number of those present. Looking over each of them, he searched for any familiar faces and found none. However, as his eyes lay upon Reginald and he heard Aziza use the man's title, Harry could not help but feel a sense of relief and of anxiety at the same time, he had once dreaded being around a man of such rank, especially in as shoddy a uniform as he wore now, but as he once again forced himself to let the reality of his discharge sink in, he simply felt like the man was someone he could relate to, shared experience, regardless of age, tended to do that. For the time being he simply offered a nod to those other present, moving toward Reginald as he held out a hand. "Sergeant Harry Walsh, Sir, a pleasure." He greeted him with a soft smile, not seeming to have noticed as Aziza had already introduce him. "Formerly Sergeant, anyway." He forced a chuckle.

William Drake

Location: Egyptian Museum

Drake was uncommonly quiet in the meanwhile, as more individuals entered the room and he found it even more crowded than usual, he couldn't help but find a certain longing for a large, empty tomb or ruin which was a degree quieter, perhaps simply with the company of a few of the charming ladies present. That was perhaps the one good thing to come out of more people coming in, at the very least there were two rather attractive women with the group, though he made the rapid assumption one or the other was with the man who came in after. For the time being he remained with Josephine, letting her arm remain around his own as he was oblivious to Vera's glances and sidelong looks, focused now on the newcomers.

As his eyes followed the man, he couldn't help but give something of a respectable smile as he watched him move toward the major. He might not've been rushing to thank either of them for their service, nor goad or suck up to them (they were limeys, after all), but he held an often unspoken respect for those who donned the uniform. Had he more time, more desire, and perhaps much more of an understanding or willingness to follow 'rules' - he perhaps would have signed up himself. Alas, that was not to be, and he was much, much happier for it. For the time being, he simply remained quiet and waited for them to be off, though his impatience was growing.
@Morose

I'll be posting soon, but possibly not tonight since i'm celebrating my exams being over :P I've just done the roll for Kordath though - you can assume Jaina has shot him in the chest, and while he isn't dead he's in pretty bad shape if you want to put a post in though.
Ahh crap, Sorry guys I actually missed Lady A's first post after my last one, my bad, i'll be happy to extend everyone's counters for a bit if you can't get in a post before you hit 8, I probably won't be able to get one in today but I will have one up for sure after my exam tomorrow.
Lucas Walsh

Location: Safe House

Lucas sighed, shrugging his shoulders, it was a fair point, he didn't really know why Gregory wouldn't have offed them by now, but there was something about it all still, in his eyes he could have easily been trying to lure them both into a sense of security. He shrugged his shoulders at her next suggestion, reaching up to rub idly at the back of his neck as he thought, moving to sit down and looking over at her. "Might be a decent idea, we could look into that now while Roy's away, and then head out for the other spot when we send Roy to the UN?" He suggested with a shrug.

Standing again, he moved over to the weapons and picked up his PPK, sighing as he looked over it, simply beginning to go through his basic and usual routine as he loaded the weapon, ensuring the safety was on as he tucked it into the holster which was hidden at the small of his back, settling it there as he sighed, looking back over at her. "You're sure you're going to be fine to go, right?" He questioned, sincerely.

Scott Fairburne

Location:AfterDark

Giving Zoie one last nod before she left, Scott turned his gaze to Freddy as he replied, chuckling at the man's comment. He kept his grin as the man spoke, looking over to the office as he pointed it out, smile fading a little. Scott did attempt to stay out of his bosses path whenever and wherever he could. She seemed like the could of woman who was surrounded by trouble, the kind the man wanted to keep his neck out of. When he turned his gaze back over to where Freddie was, he had already made his way back over to the door. Shrugging his shoulders, he let the smile return to his face as he continued, idly moving up and down the bar as he ensured everything was in good shape.
