@Kronshiyeah, it seems to work for their fusion in a geological sense, as well as a metaphysical sense. I like it
If you guys remember that episode where Mayor Dewey had Steven and Jamie put on a play, and Pearl reworked the script to be accurate, there was a massive fusion that warned Dewey about the dangers of Beach City. My guess is that particular fusion is the one between Garnet and Rose, or Garnet, Rose, and Pearl. Due to Garnet's size, and Rose's size, I think that it could have been the two of them.
@AkayaofthemoonWell, gems are hard light, and as we know, they can change their form at will. It possible that she could have always been Rose's pearl, but it's just as likely that she couldn't be. Pearl's defection could have been on homeworld, where white diamond, who I assume is the head of them, resides or resided, and the change to Pearl's space suit would have been to further support her defection from WD.

But, nothing is really concrete right now, so anything is possible.
@LoonyHuh. It very well could be. We know that Lapis doesn't like the Gems or Homeworld, but is in fact loyal to steven, but it could be another lapis. If it were, though... thta would be very interesting... and actually gives me a few ideas...
@AkayaofthemoonYeah. We also know how Rose found each of the crystal gems, or at least assume pretty strongly.

Garnet is probably the most concrete one, having a whole episode dedicated to her origins. We know that Ruby was a bodyguard who went out of line to protect the clairvoyant Sapphire, making the two fuse for the first time, and during their escape, they met rose.

Amethyst, though not concrete, we do know that she is from one of the kindergartens, and was the last of the gems to be found (With the exception of Lapis, whom we still know almost nothing about), most likely during the rebelion, or sometime right after.

And Pearl is where things get interesting. From what we've seen of other Pearls, their gem placement matches that of the gem/diamonds that they are assigned to, and even match their colors. given the placement of the gems on both the Diamonds and their Pearls, it's pretty safe to assume that our Pearl was actually White Diamond's pearl, who, with what we've seen of White Diamond, does have her gem on her forehead, like pearl. It would also make sense for Garnet to call her a Renegade pearl if she left her previous owner for Rose.
@AkayaofthemoonNo problem. The most recent bomb finally gave us a look at two of the four diamonds, and a pretty good look at Homeworld, even if we didn't really see homeworld, per se.
@Akayaofthemoongood, and you?

@ForsytheWell, my own plans can hold off for a little, so I'm sure that there won't be any problems with whatever you or anyone else may have in mind
