Kamen Rider.
It is a title taken by those who protect the world against monsters and other strange phenomena, typically through a persona with astounding abilities to battle such creatures. Just as the monsters do, Kamen Riders come and go, either when their monster is gone, or their own goal after peace is achieved. There are very few of these heroes that can actually stand against the test of time.
Three years ago, another one of these monstrous epidemics began to spread across the nation. Pacts, they called themselves. They were summoned by humans in order for them achieve their goals, though usually at a price or for some sort of trade-off. Depending on the situation, a different Pact would set a contract with the human. Each member of the deal would be given a coin. One side of the coin would have the insignia of the Pact on it, and the other side would show what is being offered for the Pact's services. If the pact or the object of trade is destroyed, then that side of the coin will wear and age before all viewing eyes to inform either the Human or that Pact.
Most Pacts are follow rules and guidelines to perform their task, but they have been known to deviate from the Human's orders for unknown reasons.
For three years, the warrior known as Kamen Rider Titan has been fighting these monsters tirelessly. Kamen Rider Titan, as his name suggest, was one of the most powerful and fearsome Kamen Riders to ever exist, having fought evil in his vicinity for more then twenty years. The Pacts were supposed to be nothing more than another monster of the year.
Even though the hid in rumor, those who were aware of the Kamen Rider Titan were worried when he was suddenly no longer there to protect them. There was no sign of him anywhere.
In the wake of Kamen Rider Titan's disappearance, a new warrior of justice knew that he had to be the one to take his place and pick up where Titan left off, fighting the Pacts and ending their contracts for once and for all. Though young, he wasn't completely unprepared for this turn of events. He would need help, of course. One could not just take the place of a legendary Icon so quickly. The bar was immensely high.
However, there was more than the simple mission to eradicate the evil. He needed to find Kamen Rider Titan.
He needed to find his father.
So, erm.
Yeah.
This is a Kamen Rider/Sentai inspired RP, with a simple, Kamen Rider base plot line. Nothing too exciting in the plot itself.
The excitement in in the characters that the plot follows! It's all about the characters. The Good, the Bad, the Ugly, the Monsters. Everyone has a motive and a reason for what they do, and depending on how our characters interact with each other and the world around them, things are sure to change from the original plot that I /mostly/ have completely worked out.
Now, there are a couple things, rules and apologies and such (you'll see why)
RULES:
This is a casual/high-casual RP, maybe even Advanced if we're both up for it.
That said, I can understand smaller posts below the normal threshold in faster situations, but please, for the love of everything that is holly (conrad), please no one liners.
Communication! Just like our characters, you and I have to talk in order to keep things going. I would be less inclined to talk to a person that PMs me or talks to me here like "Hey I want to roleplay" than I would a person who talks to me like a person first.
Please let me know if you no longer want to continue the RP, and please state why, if possible. I'd love some criticism so I can get better wherever I'm lacking.
If you are going to be leaving or not posting for a while, please let me know so that I don't think that you hate me or are abandoning this.
If possible, could you let me know if you are or aren't familiar with Sentai/Kamen Rider? So we can figure out a good wacky-insanity-to-actual-story ratio?
If you don't reply for a week, or let me know, I will be sending out an additional PM to check for a pulse, but after that, there will be no more warnings and I may consider if scrapped if you do not return.

"Carnelian." Sodalite looked to the red gem. "We can do two things. You can charm your way through this and help Aqua and the Gemlings, while I go into town assess the problem there. Or, you go into town and asses the problem, and I stay here with Aqua." If Sodalite were being honest, either of the options would have worked for her. Though she did want to see the gemlings a little more, the town was equally important to their mission, just as the rest of the earth was.
Slowly, she stepped forward. She seemed to have faded to the back of people's minds, not that she truly minded that. More often than not, being alone and unnoticed was more helpful with gathering information and exploring, but this one one of those times where she needed to take a stance and actually make a direct difference on things. She could not do that by hiding in the background, not here.

favo Fusion? Opal. To me, Opal seems more the Pearl/Garnet fusion than Sandonyx is, but I still do love Sards for all she is.
I don't know, I just think that Opal's calm stoicness and how she sang back to Steven when they first met was something that Garnet would totally do to remind Steven that that its still them as well as Opal.
Plus I just love that entire scene with her killing the birds then smiling at Steven like kill me now
As for general characters? Of the CGs, Garnet, Peri is a close second
Of the Humans, Greg, then Jamie

Prism could understand Sklog's actions rather well. Someone had to stay back and monitor the convoy, and Sklog, the heaviest hitter, was the one to do it. "Sklog's going with them" She pointed to the Dinobot while speaking to Turbulence. "There, we not have someone watching over the Junkions, and if there's any trouble, Sklog can take them on or radio us if he needs to."
