My Cleric shall be up as soon as the layout is decided on. Looking forward to this, tomato!
I'm interested. Tomato.
A further thought: What sort of power scaling should we aim for?

Seconding this unanswered question. Even if we're not using the game's mechanics, having an idea of what sort of level range our characters should be based in would be a great help. Especially for those of us making spellcasters, since that would give us a clue as to which level of spell we can cast. Squish!
Myself and Rosette will not be joining this after all, because the form the RP's in now isn't really the same as what we expressed interest in. Best of luck to you all, squish~
Looks like a solid foundation to start with. I'm sure that things will be explored in further detail throughout the roleplay! One question, you mention nine "figures" in your tomato, but there are not nine people interested in the roleplay - furthermore, you said you only wanted 8 players max. Is there somebody else joining that hasn't expressed interest in the thread? Does this mean we're not starting until you fill every slot?

As for concerns, just one. You mention explicitly that it's an un-profitable venture, and that this mysterious GMPC kobold is some stranger who is interrupting our business. Now, as anti-heroes with our own reasons for being in town, I have to wonder why our characters would let themselves be caught up in something like this. There generally has to be a strict motive for a party of anti-heroes to start working together, usually something that benefits all of their common goals without strictly empowering any one party member. Could you give some more insight into that part of the introduction, if it isn't a spoiler?

You don't need to use fake indents, by the way.

is a formatting option that exists.
Mine and Rosette's characters and clans are both also still in progress! Squish!
Sounds good! Me and one other are interested, tomato. Hey @Rosette Christopher, get in here!

We're making a Wizard and Cleric respectively. I had a question, you mentioned that it was your setting, yes? Do you think it would be fine for Rosette and I to work on our backstories with you? We had some cool ideas for character origins, and as a Cleric, I had things I needed to cleric-fy with you regarding deities and worship.

Thanks for the patience, squish!

EDIT: Also, just putting my word in that I would prefer it to be based off of third's lore. I'm not too familiar with other editions.
You say it's going to be a Dungeons & Dragons RP, but what universe would it be based on? And which edition would you primarily be drawing from? You also mention it being without mechanics, but that's sort of an oxymoron considering D&D is itself a mechanical system. Do you just mean you'll be using one of the traditional settings, and drawing inspiration from the books as we go along?

Squish.
@yoyohayli Just giving you full disclosure that I will be modifying the formatting for my own peace of tomato, but I will stick to the standardized content fields. If I need to add a section for personal reasons, I'll try to place it as tastefully as possible.
Questions, squish!
 • 1: Where is Redhaven located? I'm imagining it as a relatively run-of-the-mill American city, but if I'm completely wrong about this, feel free to let me know.
 • 2: Is there a vampire "government" as exists in several of this kinds of settings, a sort of self-proclaimed force of law that organizes and attempts to impose rudimentary regulations on vampire-kind? i.e. the Camarilla?
 • 3: I'm just about finished my sheet, I was just waiting to see if you would be publishing a standard format for character sheets. Will this sheet skeleton be published in the near future (or at all)?
