A week in the hospital sucks for everyone involved. Still no answers. It looks like my family member is doing better though.

Well, I'm back home and happy, but now a family member is in dire straits. I'll be spending a good amount of time at the hospital this week, I think. :/

@TemplarKnight07 - My next post plans to do this exact thing! :D
If I may ask, what would the RP be focusing on if not some form of conflict? Is the wedding just happening without a hitch, and the scenes are an excuse for our characters to interact?

Nothing wrong with either option - I just want to know. :D
@BCTheEntity - Nakera can cry behind a console and hope she doesn't explode!

@Jbcool - The next scene I see is her and Kaicero coming in, with their stealthy eldar friend in tow. Nakera tries not to vomit while fiddling with the systems and identifies that the Boss is currently doing all sorts of terrible, defiling things to the installation's main reactor? Maybe he's planning on detonating one of the ships or something - I don't know. Apocalyptic scenario. Nakera feels better not being alone so she goes with, knowing they'll also need help fixing whatever things he's doing to agitate the Reactor's machine spirits.
@Legion02 - Doesn't need to be Old Rivals. Maybe he can't understand why such a guy would be invited to the wedding. Maybe he thinks the military is bad. Maybe Dom smiles at the girl he fancies. It could be a bunch of things to make them butt heads.

But yes, I'd like to keep Dominic's family with me...and dead.
I vote for more time planet side. Most of us were heading to the commu center anyway
@Quinntessential Okay I got this idea of a little brother of Dom who kind of looked up to him but felt left behind when Dom entered the army.

I was kinda thinking that Dom would be an only child. I think if you wanted to have some kind of antagonistic relationship with him, it could be an old rival from High School...or just someone rich and snobby enough to find Dom's lifestyle insulting. He 'gave up' his wealth to serve with the common folk, after all. Forgetfulness is the only reason he has any money. :P (at least that's the rumormill)

Name: Dominic Dalton
Age:28
Picture:

Role: Groomsman
Occupation: Bouncer, Ex-Army Vet
Personality: Caretaker

Bio: Dominic is from wealthy family that made it's money in Pharmaceuticals. His early life was spent in the richest part of Chicago - Millennium Park. He attended a private school for High School and graduated with top marks - enough of a student to earn a scholarship at any Ivy League college. He shocked and stunned his family when, instead of going into any form of college, he volunteered for the US Army. His family, absolutely betrayed by his decision, disowned him. For nearly ten years, his life and existence was a complete mystery. When he returned last year, he had a fair number of scars and no one to greet him. He learned then that his parents both died in a tragic car crash, but he was unable to be located. Contrary to his father's angry rantings, they never removed him from their Will. Their death meant the family's sizable wealth went solely to him. He currently lives in the same Chicago penthouse he grew up in, too nervous to sell his families things. Not long after returning, he reconnected with an old friend from High School. @jman221 found him six months after returning, just about three months ago. Since then, they've reconnected partly. Dominic is much more reserved than the dramatic, thrill seeking pretty boy he'd known in college, but his good nature and brave heart hasn't changed a bit. He's very quiet about his time overseas. All that he tends to share is that he was a Helicopter pilot, and helped evacuate wounded soldiers.

Any other information:
Dominic has a very good collection of battle scars. He's been shot twice (once in the right thigh and once in the left shoulder) and has shrapnel scars covering his whole right side, from knee to cheek. While it's worst on his abdomen and torso with his skin looking almost twisted in places along his abs, his right neck and cheek are pocked with little dimples. With a shirt on, it looks like bad acne scars. Once the full sight is in view, it's obvious he's suffered some trauma. He may be incredibly wealthy, but he's notorious for living on a shoestring budget. His clothes are plain, rarely name brand, and generally out of fashion.

Likes:
Bike Riding: He absolutely loves getting on a bike and going until he has to stop.
Being Outdoors: He likes to find himself camping. Not that he has a preference for camping, but just any form of experience in the outdoors. He'll gladly run, hike, swim, or climb - as long as it involves a natural setting, he's likely in.

Dislikes:
Hostility: It may be cliche, but one of the biggest things he'll actively work to turn off or put out is hostility. Arguments, bar fights, or screaming matches - he'll do what he can to resolve a dispute. Not doing so will drive him off the walls.

@Dylan Agreed. Central and Southern Florida would be shit for a camp unless they paid a TON of money to pave over a part of the 'glades. Ft Bragg could work. So could Ft Benning in GA.
Okay!

So do we want to jump straight to the ship, or do any more scenes planet side?
