A little about myself and why Im here. Im an adult mid twenties with a serious addiction to fantasy stories and art, metaphysics and dimensions. Plus history and politics. My stories rarely involve fairy dust and rainbows. I aim to reflect the deepest and rawest parts of humanity into my work. Then have it reflect back to others.

Check out my album on here with my sketches.

I have a roleplay called Ascension.
A tale of 7 bloodlines. 5 elements combine with Dragons & Seraphim. Mix them as you will. Then explore and create in a changing world. I've out years of thought into this roleplay. If you're looking for a high fantasy with a active GM. If you love long term roleplays, ones where characters grow old and die. Here you go. roleplayerguild.com/topics/171791-asc…

First before I answer your question. I enjoyed reading your breakdown. You are 100% correct, the combinations allow strengths and weaknesses. There's a sort of balance inherently put it in. But I can say with full confidence I'm not sure if everything is balanced. I feel like someone will find a way to break it.

How would you feel about a Seraph-Nayu hybrid who had the ability to affect the darkness in their target's soul?

It needs more details. Darkness in a soul is I assume you're equating to malice, or some kind of inherent impurity in their souls. Most forms of darkness is either legitimate shadow, lack of light, or a manifestation of shadow, An otherworldly property. Again I'll need to know more about it to determine if its possible given the bloodline you stated. So far it is close.

This question has led me to make another rule, or rather explanation.
Combing / Creating Spells, Powers, & Abilities: When a spell or power comes to mind that is unique in a way you are not sure what category it falls under. Ask the Game Master "Me, Rai" what your detailed power or spell will fall under. Explain how its activated and what effect it has on opponents. Whether its possible for your bloodline to do so or not will be determined by a careful study of the properties of your spell and which parts of it fall into what category of spell casting.

Bloodline Affinities and Experience points

Experience points: You will have 10 experience points to spend on character creation. This is to limit and not limit the powers and creative liberties people will take when forging a character to win in battle. Accept the limits and create a finite character. Or go crazy as best you can with crazy spells. Review the Bloodline trait tree to grasp a better understanding of what your character can do with what bloodline. For a explanation see below.

Conjuration: Each conjuration spell belongs to one of five subschools. Conjurations bring manifestations of objects, creatures, or some form of energy to you (the summoning subschool), actually transport creatures from another plane of existence to your plane (calling), heal (healing), transport creatures or objects over great distances (teleportation), or create objects or effects on the spot (creation). Creatures you conjure usually, but not always, obey your commands.
A creature or object brought into being or transported to your location by a conjuration spell cannot appear inside another creature or object, nor can it appear floating in an empty space. It must arrive in an open location on a surface capable of supporting it.
The creature or object must appear within the spell’s range, but it does not have to remain within the range.
Matching Bloodlines:Nayu, Sol, Oro, Lassa, Tyro, Seraph

Enchantment: Enchantment spells affect the minds of others, influencing or controlling their behavior.
All enchantments are mind-affecting spells. Two types of enchantment spells grant you influence over a subject creature.
Matching Bloodlines: Seraphim, Tyro, Lassa, Oro, Nayu

Abjuration: Abjuration spells are protective in nature, though some of them have aggressive uses. They create magical barriers, negate harmful effects, harm trespassers, or banish creatures to other planes of existence.
Matching Bloodlines: Sol, Seraph

Transmutation: The transmutation school of magic consisted of spells that changed the physical properties of some creature, thing, or condition. The school was previously known as alteration.
Matching Bloodlines: Nayu, Sol, Oro, Dragon

Evocation: Evocation spells manipulate energy or tap an unseen source of power to produce a desired end. In effect, they create something out of nothing. Many of these spells produce spectacular effects, and evocation spells can deal large amounts of damage.
Matching Bloodlines: Lassa, Oro, Tyro, Nayu, Sol, Dragon

Divination: Divination spells enable you to learn secrets long forgotten, to predict the future, to find hidden things, and to foil deceptive spells.
Matching Bloodlines:Seraph, Sol, Nayu

Illusion: Illusion spells deceive the senses or minds of others. They cause people to see things that are not there, not see things that are there, hear phantom noises, or remember things that never happened.
Matching Bloodlines: Seraph, Sol, Nayu

Aelithea was suddenly feeling a bit cold. The ship was relatively warm it was just the cold metal and plastic that didn't absorb heat that made her hairs stand on end. A visible result in her white shirt from her bosom. Nonchalantly she took her seat and crossed her long bare legs vertically. The rowdy banter from the two men of the crew made her yawn. Stretching kept her attention occupied. Bringing her arms up her shirt revealed her belly button briefly before it was covered again when her arms came down. She turned to see the Erkani alien in all its sleek slender and curious form. She marveled at its odd other worldly complexion before turning her attention to the screen of the Queen's will.

"I can't wait to see some graves." Sarcasm from the corner seat. She tapped her foot on the floor playfully whilst wearing a smirk on her face. Her shorts being pinched down periodically by the thighs. Sports attire not meant for sitting in plastic slippery seats. She was not that comfortable now and her smirk wore off. She instead merely gazed at the screen they were highlighting. Looking at the word grave with them she found what they were going on about. Then she looked at Ryland who scanned the seats. This prompted her to catch his eye with her own natural green ones.

The light of the monitors reflected off her eyes giving a piercing neon glow to them as she gave him a playful wink while simultaneously lifting her shirt up slowly, a tongue sticking out at him like a snake hissing. Yet it was a tease. Meant to be behind everyone's back, or if anyone else saw she didn't mind. The sweat from her body glistened over the foundation of her hardened abdomen. Nothing was shown beyond her belly button and honed musculature.. and anyone else that may have been flustered by her would be a bonus. But at the moment she targeted the Paladin.

Yay a new victim person! I hope you do join as there's still plenty of room for brand new characters to shine.

You can see countless examples on creating a character here in the Ascension character gallery.

Ziton&Baqar

The moogles were a strange sight. Some declared them to be of angelic descent. However upon further meeting the descendants knew the moogles, along with those who guarded them, were from an alternate timeline. The wise sages who read from ancient scrolls were the ones to make this known. The creatures that were being called darklings were now given another name, thanks to the moogles. Heartless. It was a strange name to most who heard it. Few did however. The kingdoms kept most knowledge given to them by these newcomers to themselves. Slow to forge an alliance the moogles decided to leave their offer open to those who would accept it.

This is where Ziton stepped in. He approached the village a moogle was setting up shop. He had next to him Baqar who couldn't help but stare at the adorable floating oddity. "I can tell this is where I need to be to find it. A way to another world. I am Ziton the Seeker, wanted man in this world. But my skills will be useful no doubt." He spoke softly. But almost as if talking to himself. His face was hardly visible beneath the hair and hat on his head. "Right.. This way to my ship Kupo!" The guards followed the small creature and so did Ziton with Baqar behind him. It was not long until they were on the gummi ship, a vessel that was odd yet fascinating for beings of this world. Ziton could not help but wear a grin even as they descended to the world that would serve as the first checkpoint for the birth of this tale.

Flying from the Gummi Ziton's leather coat opened almost like a parachute as he fell with Bawar clinging to his shoulders. He landed gracefully and looked up at the palace with a single piercing yellow and red pupil eye peering through his hair. "It's fantastic!" Exclaimed Baqar as he whipped around on the mans shoulders, giving awe struck looks to all of the lights and architectural designs. Other worlds sure were fascinating. But this was only the beginning. Aware of this Ziton merely eyed the premises. Seeing the different people surrounding the area. It seemed he and Baqar would be the only ones with horns attending this "party."

It was not long until they were greeted by the ones who summoned them all here. "It's close. What I'm looking for is near here.. And yet.. It's so far away." Ziton muttered to himself without alerting the concern of those around him. His eyes however were set on those who stood before him and the door to darkness. Most importantly those blades their wielded. Those were essential in what he was searching for. Somehow. He looked up now. Both menacing eyes of his were visible as he listened to them speak of a quest. He was eager to hear it and gain a better understanding of how to get closer to them and possibly what he wanted...

Swish, crack, boom, crack. The snapping of air as it was split gave a loud cry before the deafening sound of Aelithia's left leg hitting a bag that lit up with each strike. A screen projected the amount of force and speed behind each. She would pause between each kick. She was ensuring they had an equal or more rating on the screen. Her sweat was flying from her leg and face. She was breathing with fast and heavy sucks at the moment she propelled her leg to deliver a kick. The bag would bend as if it would stay that way however as it came back down it returned to normal. A marvelous design of alien technology and a human primal inclinations.

She placed her hair in a ponytail. Using a band she had on her wrist. She began to hear the sound from the intercom. She was just winding down on her training for now when it happened. She took slow breathes and walked to a mirror. This was her room. It was spacious indeed but it also led right to the weapons storage room. She had a clear view of the weapons from her other wall monitor. She listened to Paladin talk while she wiped her face with a container of water and a towel. She was wearing a small pair of blue shorts, a white undershirt and her pink towel hung from over her shoulders.

She walked with a casual switch while drinking her water with a steady pour, her lips puckered to take it in. She briefly took the water top out of her mouth. "I hope this is worth it." She muttered out loud as she walked down the halls bare foot. Finally approaching the bridge she crossed her arms in anticipation. "So what's the deal?" She asked frankly to no one in particular. Her assumption was that Nikki could easily make out where she was and what she said to be a part of the conversation. Even if she didn't want her to be.
Apologies. Thanks for accepting me. I'll write a post soon.
