In that case-- *our carpet comes to a stop* The What-If Rift is a device developed by some members of Tier Five which, given some input information, produced a simulation of a reality under those parameters. We produced the foundation for that technology long ago. However, we did not go as far as Tier Five did in making it entirely compatible and indefinite in scope. We used it to create extremely realistic training simulations and devoted our attention to making them enterable.

The effect cannot be distributed over the entire planet. We provide rural families with devices which will restrict magic in their vicinity or their land when turned on and off, with several security measures.

The Sevenfold Covenant and the Tri-Rune System are exceptionally powerful if used properly. We do not restrict access to spells and Realmatic configurations which can cause harm. But harm can be caused instantly, so a police force is not enough to stop those who would use their magic maliciously.
