Didn't Pyrrha say she only activated Jaune's aura and the rest of it was his own aura at work? It wasn't her healing him so much as helping him heal himself, isn't it? That's how I understood it anyway.

I'm of the thought process that semblances aren't just a specialization of your aura, but a unique ability.Still, if everybody can become wolverine and everyone is a field medic, it'll make being wounded just something to shrug off. Oh, you sliced my torso open? I can heal that. I'm low on aura? I have three other teammates who can do it for me.

It might also be something like a cursed wound or something? Like certain Grimm or relics might have the ability to inflict cursed wounds that don't heal completely or locks the Aura in the wounded area so it can't be used or something. If aura is a manifestation of the soul, it would stand to reason that the Grimm, lacking souls, might have some anti-thesis version of it.

Also, with regards to the IC, I'm waiting on Tirren before I post again... Daiki's somewhere in D5, I'm going to roughly say.

The moment the first arrow was fired, Thea found herself busy casting spells and making sure the darkspawn didn't manage to surround them or get any closer. Her sylvan was getting destroyed by swords and axes, but for each blow it received, the offending darkspawn was swatted away with just as much force and brutality. Just as the group of three ran past Kaitlyn, busy with her own opponents, to get to her, Thea swiped her staff in front her in a large arc and sent shards of ice erupting from the ground.

The wall of ice spears impaled one hurlock, and froze the other genlocks in place. With a blast of rock, Thea shattered them both with a well placed Stone Fist spell. She was fighting harder than ever before, not only because she was no longer fighting with a score of Dalish warriors around her, but also because she knew what happened to women the darkspawn took. She wanted to avoid that fate as much as possible.

She did not notice the Tranquil struggling with the darkspawn, forgetting that he had neither magic nor armor to defend himself with. She was too occupied with the darkspawn trying to get to her, realising that their enemy had a mage. She then cursed when she spotted a hurlock emissary striding through the trees and preparing to blast them all with a fireball. She whirled around to face the blasted creature and sent a bolt of ice magic right from her hand, freezing the emissary in place and interrupting its spell before it could send it their way. A bolt of lightning to follow up shattered the emissary's arm and a few more blasts from her staff ensured the darkspawn stayed dead and would not harass them further. It was at this point that a genlock dagger nearly found her side, had she not jumped out of the way as she spotted movement in the corner of her eye.

A retaliation blast for its effort was all it took to bring the genlock down, and it seemed they had defeated their first wave of darkspawn attackers. Unfortunately seeing one scouting or raiding party often meant others would undoubtedly catch their scent. The fight was over but they had a long road ahead. She turned to the templar. "That went well." She commented, just glad she had survived the battle.

Though I do see your point on Ironsight though maybe half of the reason is that even though you're an RPer/player in Stryder & Chev's RP, you're still quite intimidating to talk to and very dominant in your arguments so again, in Stryders defence maybe he feels intimidated to even ask you since he knows you'd say no without question first. (which is why I talk to you more than he does) Shadowhawk always had a mental resistant and was a planned character for a long time by me and Stryder after mason's death. Technically Shadowhawk had mental resistances before phantom was even known and it's mostly because of the arc me and Stryder have together which involves Jilocasin. Bishop though was not resistant to Phantom so while he didn't get the tank he got one that was slightly better, the controller. I don't see the CS of Ironsight yet so I'll talk to stryder and see if we can ALL come up with a GOOD and FAIR compromise on the issue.There are a lot of good solutions that can keep Hikari and Ironsight separate and honestly, in my opinion they all can be done. Though remember that Ironsight isn't with the titans, when Hikari sees him they will be fighting for survival against one another. No offence to stryder though, but I think Hikari would win that fight. Again, you're a very intimidating person to even talk to, even for me at times... And you know I can handle myself pretty well in an argument and that like. The main thing though is that you say your characters get ignored, though Rachel wasn't ignored for a long time, nor was Hikari (Yan I'll admit I ignored for a long time because I never had a character really interact with her.) but in the end your characters do get quite a bit of attention... at times I felt as though my characters got ignored (sinna gave commands to everyone to ease the situation and only 3-4 people followed through) Characters get their times to shine, and they get their times when they are ignored and in the shadows alone. It happens to even the best of us.

And on Phantom cutting in... I believe someone (I can't remember who) gave the okay to come in at a certain point and when that point happened that's when I came in. If anyone changed things I did not realise it. I guess I should apologise for that then.

To be fair, Stry was not the only one ignoring characters, I get that. My beef was that several people often lose track of who they're interacting with and there's too much chaos in the RP and my frustration boils when the GMs don't step in to sort things out as is their job, though I do confess I contributed to it at times. Stry was just the unfortunate one to draw my fire this instance and several others.

With all that said, sure, I know I can have pretty high standards and don't mince words when it comes to how I see an RP, I'll try to tone down on that.

1. Your characters took care of the entire mall, including a zombie Bane in one post. How is that not overshadowing? Plus the impression from all your debates about how your characters would trump ours in the OOC (Blitz and Flash) doesn't help either even when everyone keeps telling you it doesn't work that way.

2. KKL and I had a long fight planned out for Hikari and Razor Wind but guess what happened because someone said we were dragging it out too long?

3. You know what happened when you introduced Iron Sight the last time, and now you tell me you're bringing him back despite the fact that you know I had objections instead of asking me. Sure, you're the GM, but how do you think I feel as a member of this RP when you phrase things like that? Even if you didn't mean to, doing shit like that just makes people think you're saying "fuck you, I do what I want".

4. I create Nightingale, you create Iron Sight. I create Phantom, your characters suddenly have high mental resistances. Forget the fact that they're all 18 at the most going up against an adult villain, of course I'd feel as if you were doing shit just to one up me.

5. Drakel: Sure, I don't mind Iron Sight coming in if I felt he was a different type of archer or served a different role or style from Nightingale. The problem is I don't see it.

6. I don't want to be a jerk about this but the fact is that my characters have been blatantly forgotten or ignored in this RP before so I feel I have to speak up a lot more when it comes to things like this. If you, as the GM, simply say "this is how I want to do things" instead addressing the issue (telling me they are different and explaining how they are different are two different things) then don't blame me for being an ass about it.

7. Arsenal: yay or nay? I removed the "Oracle-ness".

Spellthief was created as an anti-mage character. Iron Sight's function is a lot closer to Nightingale's.

No, no, this is your RP. Do whatever you want. We all have to accept your decision and live with it. I made myself clear - I won't play Nightingale if Iron Sight is in because I don't want to play duplicate heroes. Plus you have an annoying trend of taking the spotlight and outshining everyone with your characters so if you have an archer there's no point in me playing one either. After I created Phantom suddenly "High mental resistance" became a superpower in the CSes that came after that... Coincidence?

Look, if you don't like people having conflicting opinions or saying they object to your idea, then why are you doing something that involves interacting with other people like roleplaying?

It's not like I've never had to cancel my plans/re-write plots for my characters in this RP before...

Fine. I made her normal, average girl. You would think that people would appreciate a wheelchair bound girl kicking ass in an RP with so many overused powers but NO, nobody appreciates novelty.

If you tell me I created a female Iron Man next I'm going to punch you. Honestly.

And if you want the archer so much you can have him. I'll retire Hikari. I'm sick of duplicates and repeat character types in this RP.

No I didn't. Oracle didn't control mechs if I recall. Honestly the idea is that she's physically weak. Wheelchair bound was the first idea that came to mind. I don't want to create a technopath.
