Beatrice took the offered hand and shook it. She would kiss no mans palm; it was a horrid practice of showing dominance in her eyes. To the ladies it would be courteous but she was not here to stroke the ego of a tomcat. Although she ignored the vampire that appeared beside them, she did quirk a brow at her body guard.

The burly man that was Beatrice's bodyguard sniffed the delicate white flowers before waggling his eyebrows at the vampire that had turned them from his glistening knives. He blew a kiss and gave him a wink before tucking the flower into the lapel of his shirt, folding his arms again.

Beatrice turned her attention back to Claudius, taking a delicate tea cup and pot for her drinking pleasure before speaking. "Sir Claudius, as I'm sure your owners have told you, I am an advocate of equality for beings of the super and the natural." She paused to begin adding sugar cubes into the small teacup. "I come here today looking to join forces with you and your advocates to strengthen the army in the Ferrous castle." She paused to sip the tea, wrinkle her nose, and continued to add copious amounts of sugar cubes. "But you wouldn't be without benefit of your own." She sipped her tea again, smiled in satisfaction at how overly sweet it was, and set it, and its saucer down before turning back to the ancient pureblood.

"I've heard stories of the Grand Claudius since I was a girl," She admitted, cocking her head to the side. "How they burned villages trying to rid of the cur of the night, sent small armies to stop you and other purebloods." Her eyes flashed with... a perhaps sick fascination at the thought. "And how you would tear them down without a moments hesitation."

The room had become deathly silent as she leaned over, her voice barely a whisper as she took Claudius' icy hands into her own, sun-warm ones. "Teach us," She murmured, her eyes looking into his once again. "We cannot spread our message of peace between races unless we conquer Kingdoms and change the laws of others. We must fight to prevent more of this hatred, this fear of others like you, demons, and other beings alike. It will be a war... and I need your help, Sir Claudius." As she spoke a single locke of blond hair moved from behind her ear to her cheek, but with the intensity of her connection with this pureblood she could not notice.

Aagni stared at the demon speaking to him, then, slowly before the demons eyes, he seemed to melt from his own clothing, dissappearing... leaving nothing but his too-big cloak behind. What the demon would not see is Aagni, turned into the snake form of temptaion, slithering his way down the rafters and around Samuels neck. Mimicing exactly what the demon did before, Aagni hissed into Samuels ear in the form of his royal advisor.

"Perhaps joining her.... would not be such a bad idea, Sire..."
im waiting for the ferret Ursa to post before pinning my response.

"And have you actually TRIED to teach him the business of the 'morrow?" Beatrice hissed, snapping her head to look directly at the last vampire who'd spoke. "If you truly cared about who sired who then perhaps you should have considered the possibility that the ache of Sir Claudius' loins might simply dry up in his long slumber?" She tried to bite it back, but she could not stifle a small giggle. She took a breath and held herself upright.

"Thank you sirs, I shall take my chair and will be sure to project my tune loud enough for your .... grand hall." With that, Beatrice moved with her strange ladylike swagger, plucked up the seat from where it was positioned for her to sit, and moved down the side of the table. Her bodyguard remained where he was, chuckling softly, and under closer inspection held a throwing knife in his palm, eyeing all vampires present. As she walked with a chair in hand many of the vampires gasped, and she spoke whilst moving down the long table. "Oh hush I'm not going to stab him. That would be absurd."

She sat her chair down beside Claudius, took the documents from his hand and placed them into her lap before crossing her ankles in a very ladylike manner. "Now on with out business, shall we?" She spoke, looking directly into Claudius' eyes again. "I apologize for my brashness, I'm certain the ladies of your time were far less brazen and more the type to flee from you in terror, tripping over their skirts and all."

At least one of the Vampires fainted.
Aagni looked down at the talking snake... listening to every word it said. His mask betrayed no emotion. Once the snake had finished talking, Aagni picked him up by the 'neck,' the space just after the head to keep the serpent from striking.

" ...Snake..." Was all that came from Aagni. His voice was like a whisper, but it was gentle and airy, almost a sigh. He gently grabbed the other end of the green snake, opened his satchel, and put it inside before closing it with a drawstring. He continued to watch emotionlessly.
