Personality:
Possibly the most compassionate person you'll ever meet, she is highly sympathetic to the needs of others and has the bad habit of putting others before her. She enjoys what she does and is exceptionally gentle with people. That is not to say that she isn't stubborn, however. Not only is she Irish but she fastidiously bears Irish pride. She will NOT tolerate others bringing her down and can hold her own, alone or otherwise. Many a time people have taken her kindness as weakness and have stabbed her in the back. If they stabbed her in the back with an actual knife she'd take it out and impale you through the face and walk away leaving you to rot. She does not seek drama nor will she put up with it. That being said, she is infinitely optimistic and tries to make the best of the worst situations.

Bio:
Living in a small village most of her life and the daughter of a doctor and a midwife, Ashling easily picked up the trick of the trade. Since she could walk she aided in helping the sick or those giving birth, whether it was handling towels, water, whatever. What was important that she built up an immunity to shocking sights like blood or illness. She studied in the local schools whose school system she found to be lacking for her own intellect. Luckily, it wasn't long till they moved to a larger city when her father accepted a job in the larger city. She could no longer help her father as she used to when he went into the hospitals but could still work with her stay-at-home mother that worked as a midwife on call.
It was after the move that Ashling had her first encounter with death. Something was wrong with a mothers child that her mother and her hadn't caught in time, and unfortunately the mother of the newborn quickly fell victim to the reapers scythe. It was a while until Ashling could return to helping her mother midwife, the shock of the event taking its toll. She eventually did return, getting to be good enough to help deliver children on her own. The event had hardened her a bit, and she found a new desire to help others. She looked to become a professional in the medical field and looked into prestigious academies worldwide to find what suited her next step into the world of doctors. It wasn't long until she found... the academy. Her parents saw her to the airport with heavy hearts. Her mother cried for months before she left, but Ashling looks to the future with hope.

Oh... careful about that. That's a pretty big insult to the Wiccan community. They don't do anything like that, they're very based in nature, sticking only to herbs and poltices, white magic.
