You are the new hope.
A sideline to the official plot of Attack on Titan, You can either be a civilian, cadet in training, or a titan yourself (without powers). Everyone will be starting in the training camp, and eventually move up to defend the Great Walls. Throughout this rp there will be competitions among members to see if you rank in the top ten, only those who are will have the opportunity to join the military police, the most well known safe-job. NPC's will be played by me, the GM. Titans, played by individual members, can also be used.
You can and will be killed off.
This is a cruel world we live in. If you hesitate you're better off dead. Do not wait to strike, or risk being eaten.

History: Unfortunately, Her parents died of illness at a young age, leaving Ava to look after and care for her little sister Arya. Ava and Arya were able to get by barely by Ava taking odd jobs and surviving in the secondmost inner ring of the Walls. She made it, and raised her sister until the fall of wall Maria. With the new comers, food was hard to come by and with her little sister but two years younger than her, Ava made the decision to join the military in hopes to join the military police, and make a better life for her sister by having her move there with her. She doesn't understand that by being in the military police, she would only be able to go alone...

Personality: Hailing from a very culinary based family, Cesare learned to cook from a young age. He constantly has to be in a hurry because of this as he learned in a restaurant with cheap food. Cheap food meant a lot of starving poor people to feed. Now all Cesare can think about is not waiting for anything. Other than this, he thinks his views are correct in every way and nothing will change his mind. His methods are tried and true, well, at least he says that. He's never actually fought a titan, but trust me, he knows how to handle one. At least he thinks.
History: Born into a large family with only one actually sibling, an older sister who died in a titan attack when they first moved into the walls. He was only 2 so he honestly doesn't recall the event even though he claims it's his inspiration for fighting. He group up very fast due to his parents constant pestering, so he never learned to not act out. he acts out. A lot. He was never told as a child to stop doing things like this as his parents were always busy with something else. He joined the cadets as soon as he was old enough to pass as being old enough and got kicked out for being 3 years too young. His parents had planned on ditching him, but he showed up before they could leave, so three yoears later he joined again. And they left. And now he graduated and is aspiring to not joining the scout team.
Other: He had a pet once. A rooster named "Big Red". His parents cooked it for dinner one day, and Cesare had to hold him down so they could cut the head off.

General skills: Aoi tends to be very observant of her surroundings; she is also pretty skilled with crafting things out of unwanted objects or out of plants. She also has a good photographic memory

Appearance: Aoi is a tanned skinned girl of about 5 ft 8 in. She has long black hair that she usually keeps tied back in a bow. Her almond shaped eyes are light brown and, although her body is thin, she has some sort of muscle definition, especially in her legs since she runs often. There is a small teardrop shaped birthmark on her neck that she inherited from her father.
Personality: Aoi is what you'd consider to be the 'quiet type', though she has no problem saying what is on her mind if she knew that it would make a difference with the situation at hand. She may even come off as rude but Aoi just lacks proper communication skills that most of her peers already have. Despite that, she actually cares for the people around her, even if she does not express it verbally.
History: Aoi lost her father to a titan while he was out on a mission with the survey corps. She was only ten at the time but was extremely close to her father. As a result, she fell into a silence that no one could coax her out of. Of course this made making friends nearly impossible and Aoi was usually seen sitting of to the side to herself, drawing pictures that she would not allow anyone to see. A while later, she lost her mother in the fall of wall Maria but Aoi managed to make it inside the second wall before her life could be taken as well. Now, she wanted to become a member of the survey corps in order to see if what the things her dad told her truly existed outside these walls.
Other: After discovering an art book in an old abandoned home one day, Aoi became fascinated with art. Everyday she would sit and draw the images from the book until she could practically do it with her eyes closed. One day, she got the idea of drawing what she believed was outside the walls after listening to her father describe his adventures as a member of the survey corps. She continued to draw these images even after her was killed and can often be seen siting on the roof of her home and drawing on multiple pieces of paper at once. She is also known to draw on the sides of the walls of houses and other buildings, which sometimes gets her into trouble.

Appearance: Aleks is a pale boy who stands at about 5’4”. He has medium length messy dark brown hair that he hardly ever takes the effort to groom into anything other than a ruffled mess. He has a pretty light build which sort of matches his short demeanor in a way. His eyes are a nice dark shade of green. He has multiple scars on his knees from all of his falls he took while learning to do his acrobatic tricks.
Personality: Aleks is often kind of joking and sarcastic. He tries not to take things too seriously because you’ll drive yourself crazy thinking about everything 100% serious at all time. He can say the wrong thing sometimes and mess up the intention of his words. He still tries his best with words and people but he’s socially awkward with people, even friends. Despite his usual attitude under pressure he can’t usually find it in himself to make a joke or even speak when not nessecary.
History: Aleks had lived in a small town with his parents and all went well for a while. The family got by on an honest living but it didn’t last forever. When wall Maria fell the town was far enough away that they weren’t immediately affected but were still made to evacuate. This understandably caused panic but with little people to control the townsfolk anarchy ensued. It was a terrifying experience for young Aleks but what was worse was that in the panic his mom had been killed. They had lost track of her for a moment and when they had found her again she had a slit throat in an alleyway. After that Aleks’s father took him to the evacuation zone for his safety and the two made it to safety. They lived in a larger town now but much more crowded and with far less food. Aleks decided he would join the military to stop this kind of stuff from happening. He knew first hand it wasn’t just the physical being of titans that plagued humanity, it was the constant fear and thought of them.
Other: Aleks actually keeps a journal to write things he feels are important. While the writing in the journal is getting scarce he still finds time every so often to write in it and the pace at which he does so is increasing.

Personality: Silas is someone who lives in his own fantasy world. He has a wide imagination and wants to explore everything outside of the walls. He is kinda weird, and often keeps distance from others while being with them. Like he is with them, but he's just there. He always has been an intelligent boy which only has been expressed through his drawings and writing as he could not make use of it otherwise. He is a bit social needs to be approached as he won't be approached easily.
History: Silas was born in a simple household. One with a mother, a father and later also a little sister. Like any ordinary family his parents began having more fights with each others. The fights kept getting worse and eventually they divorced. Silas and his sister stayed with their mother who eventually got a new man, however did not marry. They got a child though, Silas' half-brother. The relationship didn't last very long but again his half-brother stayed with his mother too.
Then the day that Wall Maria fell. Silas, along with his family, were close to the boats so they thought they could escape quickly. However because of the chaos they lost each other in the crowd. Silas was left alone with his 4 year old brother in his arms. He didn't know where his mother or his sister were, but he just hoped they would be okay. His task right now is to protect his brother. Once he was in Wall Rose, he searched for his mother and sister but never found them. He presumed both of them were dead. Appearance: Minna is 5’1 and just barely, pale with freckles, and having a thin lanky body type. She has short dirty blond hair that she makes a weak attempt to keep tied up. Her eyes are golden and are usually covered by her bangs much to her displeasure. She wears the usual Military attire with a rich blue shirt underneath. When wearing civilian clothes she will usually be in bright colored dresses or cute blouses and skirts. She has a small scar below her left ear do to an accident on the farm. She has a leather necklace around her neck with a small silver vial at the end, which is usually tucked into her shirt when she needs it out of the way.
Personality: Mina is a bright kind of person,always trying to stay in the conversation and makes an effort to involve other in it. She is kind to the people around her, as she hopes to try and make friends since she never really had any outside of her family. She can stand up for herself though, despite looking so small ( growing up as the smallest in a big family had its advantages) and does not let people walk over her. She does not frighten easily, used to seeing blood and fights, but the very idea of titans frightens her because of her mother’s stories. She can get very flustered around people she thinks are cool, but she tries to downplay it (horribly).
History: Minna was born the youngest to a big family with 5 brothers and 2 sisters, not including her cousins and their children. She lived in Rogaka, a small village near the south of Wall Rose, her father a prominent farmer and her mother an expert in medicinal herbs and plant based substances and their uses which she taught to Minna. She lived a relatively peaceful life there, despite the fights that sometimes broke out with the neighboring farmers or her mother’s paranoid rants about the wall, and her family got along. Appearance: Minna is 5’1 and just barely, pale with freckles, and having a thin lanky body type. She has short dirty blond hair that she makes a weak attempt to keep tied up. Her eyes are golden and are usually covered by her bangs much to her displeasure. She wears the usual Military attire with a rich blue shirt underneath. When wearing civilian clothes she will usually be in bright colored dresses or cute blouses and skirts. She has a small scar below her left ear do to an accident on the farm. She has a leather necklace around her neck with a small silver vial at the end, which is usually tucked into her shirt when she needs it out of the way.
Personality: Mina is a bright kind of person,always trying to stay in the conversation and makes an effort to involve other in it. She is kind to the people around her, as she hopes to try and make friends since she never really had any outside of her family. She can stand up for herself though, despite looking so small ( growing up as the smallest in a big family had its advantages) and does not let people walk over her. She does not frighten easily, used to seeing blood and fights, but the very idea of titans frightens her because of her mother’s stories. She can get very flustered around people she thinks are cool, but she tries to downplay it (horribly).
History: Minna was born the youngest to a big family with 5 brothers and 2 sisters, not including her cousins and their children. She lived in Rogaka, a small village near the south of Wall Rose, her father a prominent farmer and her mother an expert in medicinal herbs and plant based substances and their uses which she taught to Minna.
