um... I'm sorry for making such a displeasing character?
If you really looked into my character sheet... the first man she beheaded to prove her worth had a bastard sword, and that was where she got it. She does NOT use it for normal tactics, hence why I put down that is is an occaisional weapon, used mostly during one-on-one battles or against several opponents. She doesn't use it often, and GOD no she wouldn't use that as a shinobi. People have forgotten, Shinobis and ninjas are not what things like the anime 'Naruto' and Co. present them as. They are more slice-your-throat-as-you-sleep than attack you head on, and thats why they fell so often to the samurai. They lack in traditional melee.
For the sake of there being a war, I felt it necessary to give her a fighting chance. Does it displease you?

Fate Tied in a Knot

Katherina stared not at the glorious mansion, but back to the sea they had been ferried over. She didn't stand to get up and admire the lights of the mansion, She didn't belong in crowds. She sat on the seat, with her knees curled into her chest, wondering... what would it feel like to drown in that water? Would it be fast... fleeting... or painful? She brought her head back to the front of her knees, pushing her glasses into place. She grabbed up her bag and went to the others, deciding finally that being alone would help no one. It was funny. Many girls filled their bags with shoes alone, but Katherina stuck to books. She had many bags, all on a cart beside her.
Her family had seemed more than happy to let her be.
She looked down, waiting for everyone to part ways before getting off the ferry.

Powers: Teleportation, Extreme bouts of strength when angered and minor transformation when the Demon overtakes her mind. She can summon the Demon, at a price. She must inflict self harm upon herself, the demon can only come where there is intense suffering. She may cut off an arm or gouge out an eyeball to bring him in, which the demon heals before he retreats to his home.

History before circus: Rosalind lived a normal life until she and three other girls, all in their twenties at the time, were kidnapped by a cult while on a trip away from home. One by one the girls were offered as a sacrifice to the demon they wished to summon, until they at last got to Rosalind. Before they could sacrifice her, the demon appeared, 'Thanking' the cultists by killing every single one of them. Rosalind, covered in blood, stared at the Demon. As he came to her, instead of killing her, offered her a prize. To make a pact with him, so he could continue inflicting harm upon humanity through her as he pleased, as he was weak in the human world to continue killing and hurting alone.
The Pact was made, she became his eyes and she took much of his strength as well. She stopped ageing, and for a while fought back in fear of the Demon.
A vampire whom had been stalking her attempted to drink from her one night when the demon overtook her mind, killing the the vampire. Word spread about the Pact to the vampires, when she was offered to help them create a circus. The Demon, who knew circus's for being a feeding place of misery, agreed to it.

History in circus: For years, Rosalind and the Demon have become more and more comfortable with each other. Nowadays, they're almost like brother and sister and trust each other. It took a long time for that bond to form, a few decades in fact. Since then he's trained her how to teleport, and ancient summoning dances that she uses to perform with at the circus, but not fully in fear of causing herself pain would bring him to the circus, and maturing enough to become the ring leader. She rules with an iron fist and a good sense of humor. At times the demon will take over her body to speak to someone through her, and she allows him to.

Personality: Sadistic, Always smiling, and very confident in herself, Rosalind has grown from the scared young woman she was before. With age, and her body staying the same, it has matured her and taught her to see the lighter side of life. She and the demon both love to see heads roll and thrive from the pain of others, despite herself. She adores leisure, long baths, being lazy, reading a book, yet cracks the whip like no other on her performers. She loves her job.

About: A Demon who thrives on being sadistic more so than his fellow demons, he changes his appearance often. He often appears to Rosalind as a more humanoid figure while not shedding his true self to keep them both more comfortable. He enjoys prodding Rosalind to cause more havok than she already does.

Kind hearted, Level headed, and loves to learn. Her passion is the arts, cooking, dancing, and singing. She has a fascination with animals and has on more than one occasion nearly failed a mission from a deer getting in her range. She has yet to let down her father and mother on a mission, and she hopes to keep it that way. She is aware of her status and calls it to action when she feels her or her family have been dishonored, either in bloodshed or political matters.

Weaknesses: No matter what, on every mission, she seems to give away her location by the tiniest of noises at least once. Has a problem hurting animals even for her own survival; can only hold the Transformation for 4 to 5 hours depending on the details of the transformation.

Biography

Biography: Growing up in the Hideniyo Clan as the youngest and only female daughter of the Leader has been no cakewalk. From the time she could stand up on her own she has been put through treatments to desensitize her to bloodshed. Trained since she was four, she quickly excelled as a ninja and in her teachings to be a representative as the Princess of the Hideniyo Clan. Her brothers always teased her, pushed her around, which only made her stronger in the end despite her distaste for it. She is very close with her siblings and mother while maintaining a strained and professional relationship with her father.
When she was but fourteen, her father began to send out all four brothers to eliminate a single male target. Misako pleaded to be allowed on this mission, but her father quickly deemed it too dangerous for a woman. Enraged by her father holding her back simply because she was a woman, Misako stole to her dressers room where she spent every morning being put into her Princess attire, and gave herself the look of a geisha.
She tracked down the male target, whom all her brothers had failed to assassinate, to a seedy geisha house full of underage women. She snuck in, got him to choose her for the night, and killed him in the room he took her back to.
She returned to her father that morning, covered in blood, and tossed the head of the target on the floor. "My handicap is not that I bear womanhood," She said to him. "My handicap is a father who only sees the womanhood that is beared."
She left to her dressing room after that. She was earned new respect from both her father and her peers, who never held her back from a possible mission again. From then on she honed in on her disguise skills, sometimes going as far as kidnapping a woman she needed to be disguised as, holding her hostage and changing to take their appearance. Now that she is older and being put into an arranged marriage, she has her entire system figured out and uses it to her advantage.
