I'm interested.
I have a character that would really work for this setting, however, I'm not sure how RPs would turn out (Because I think about the whole plot of the RP before I actually do it. And I'm struggling to find something.)

I'm still quite interested, I'm still 'iffy' on how it would play out. I'll give it a shot. But I'm still pretty 'eh' about laser weapons, because typically as an Assassin, you would use firearms, but since bullets have been almost completely overwritten by lasers (which possibly create something visibly worse than a tracer, and when I say that, I mean in terms of "I can see where it came from.") I'm not sure how I'm going to work it out.

Edit: I'm so stupid. Sorryyy
Her head snapped around to see a man with a bottle and a mace walk past her. He had opened the damaged wooden door, which may have caused trouble for her if she was to try open it. She followed him out, her feet stepping into the puddles of blood that had flooded around the door. She was seemingly unfazed by the gruesome sight, as if her mind intentionally blanked it all out and replaced it with a regular puddle of water. The fog surrounded them, making it hard to see, but that didn't really bother Alya at all, because fog was something that happened on occasion and there was no point in making a fuss about it.

She heard a metallic clink. Followed by a series of tapping sounds against what she made out to be from glass. It was coming from the house next to the tavern; she didn't know who owned it, neither did it matter to her. She wanted to know what was making the noise. She slowly walked over to the house, her feet leaving a trail of blood in the dirt and grass. As she approached the door, she could hear the clinking in a higher frequency than before, as if something was struggling. She slowly opened the door, which conveniently enough, wasn't locked at all. It was quite typical of people in Green Fall to just forget to lock their doors, who knows why.

A somewhat high pitched YAP! sound rang out as she opened the door, the noise caused her to flinch slightly, but she noticed that it was a small animal. A wolf cub. She frowned slightly at the bindings that held the poor creature, the shackles it wore had rubbed at it's ankles causing it to lose the fur and injure it slightly. She approached the excited cub, giving it a warm smile before whistling to it as you would to a regular dog. She decided it would be a good idea to give it a pat. She figured that the man that she followed would know what to do with shackles when he saw them.
@Lord Zee

Would there still be a few ammunition manufacturers? I'd imagine that if one wanted to be an Assassin or Sniper, a Laser rifle/pistol would be quite hard to use, since the light from the laser is brighter than a muzzle flash and it'd be easier to trace trajectory. All in All, easier to notice.
Are Bullets still used in firearms or has it been completely overwritten by laser weaponry?
This sounds really awesome! I'm interested~

Name: Megumi Tsukiyama

Race: Half Katzheer

Gender: Female

Age: 25

Birthday: 5th day of Jadeyan, 276 DM

Birthplace: Azure Strand

Resides in: Ruby Banks

Occupation: Thief

Appearance:
Megumi is quite a beauty by Ebonfort standard, her long flowing hair and her bold red irises make her quite desired by many a man. She isn’t very tall in stature (Around 5'5”), and her womanly proportions are lacking a little due to her slender build, but this doesn’t detract from her overall attractiveness. She tends to wear her ‘thieving’ clothes around in broad daylight, because she’s confident that she can get away with anything. The only thing that identifies her as part Katzheer is her black tail and her cat-like pupils. Her human-side seems to be more dominant in her physical appearance.

Personality:
Megumi is an extremely money-driven person, it's difficult to find something she wouldn't do to make a few good gold pieces. Despite her ‘profession’, she’s a social person, quite extroverted and pretty easy-going. She can be warm-hearted toward others, but when it comes down to her thievery, she is at her coldest. She will not hesitate to kill people who interfere with her activities. She has a tendency to avoid talking about herself when it comes to her personal life, but she’s willing to talk about everything else. She is willing to use her womanly charm to get what she wants from others.

History:
Born of a Katzheer mother who was a skilled, if not professional thief and a Human father who worked in the Azure Strand crime network, she learnt how be independent from a very young age. Her mother taught her the skills that she needed to survive in a world like this. You needed to take things that you needed.. As well as what you wanted.

As a child, Megumi was quite a mischievous one, and was seen as the troublemaker in the town. Using the skills that she continued to learn from her mother, she started to pick pockets and steal food from the stalls and shops. She'd often give the stolen food to other children who were less fortunate, but as time went by, those children started to disappear. Gradually she became colder in personality as she wasn't stealing for others anymore, but for herself.

She had lived in the Azure Strand for most of her life, but her parents had decided that she should start travelling and learning about this country. The good things and the bad. Keeping in mind her mother's favourite saying, 'Dirty money is better than no money.'

She gave the Elf a slight nod when he thanked her. She smiled at him again when he retrieved her flute, but the interaction was interrupted when a familiar, but loud sound rang throughout the tavern once more. She was confused to say the least, rather than panicked like everyone else was. What should they do? What should she do? Music wouldn't help in a time like this. Her life was getting far too eventful for her to even comprehend, but she needed to make a decision, quickly. If she had learnt some kind of fighting skill she may have tried to help them, but she knew that even if she did, she wouldn't be very helpful.

She quickly walked over to Susie, patting her on the arm to get her attention as a child might do. She then pointed at the front door to indicate where she was planning to go. She hadn't thought about where, but she didn't mind where she went, it seemed better than staying here. She'd be worried about her parents if not for the fact that they were out on a holiday somewhere in the Azure Strand. Her parents had already allowed her to travel, but she hasn't done it yet. Well it starts now. She started toward the front door, unwilling to slow down. Hopefully everyone else would follow her, but she didn't think that they would. She thought of whistling to get their attention, but she thought against it... She knew how dogs worked after all..
"Rouge, huh? I like it." she responded in a light tone. She flinched when the other girl she was talking to was suddenly pushed aside. She turned to Araris who had gone into a combat stance. She glanced at the man in the doctors outfit before she looked back at the giant snake that had spawned in front of them. It looks like a.. field boss? Maybe one of those Mini bosses that she's been told about. Who knows, it looked pretty strong. "It'll make things easier if you join~" she responded as she quickly sent a party invite to the Doctor. By now she had already created some distance from the snake, in case it targeted her, but fortunately, it was locked onto Araris.

She unsheathed her sword as she sprinted toward the snake, relatively unobstructed since it was focused on Araris. "Yol!" she called out as as fireball formed in her hand. she flicked her wrist, launching the fireball. It hit the snake in the side of it's face, causing it to change targets to her. It hissed angrily as it lashed it's long tail violently at her. She managed to dive roll over it; she recovered quickly, slashing at it. She activated her Aura, slowing the attack speed of the snake.
