Alya had taken no notice to the hostility of the man who almost threw a tankard at her. She could still see the fear in some of the travelers as they sat nervously in the corner. She was concerned for them, but her mind was mostly focused on playing her music so there wasn't really any time for her to worry too much. She continued to play for some time, but it was evident to her that not many of the patrons left in the tavern were feeling any better than they were a few minutes ago. This made her worry a little more. It was strange, because patrons usually feel more relaxed after she plays a song like that, but they were still panicking. Since she had learnt from her parents that making the customer happy was the key to a successful tavern; the fact that she couldn't help these patrons find any peace, saddened her a little. But she continued to play for them, hoping that it would reach them.

Her song was stopped abruptly as two armored men fell through the door frame where the door once was. The thick wooden door had swung open, slapping the wall with a thud. It was a similar sound to what the men made when they slammed the door shut. The sudden loud noises had shaken her concentration, causing her to stop playing the music. Her heart quickened from the shock of noise, but she calmed down after she saw where the noise came from. As the white elf slumped into the chair, she gently placed her flute on the floor next to her. Slowly, she wandered over to him, her feet carrying her with an air of elegance. As she came face to face with the armored man, she studied his expression for a moment. This look of fear was different from the patrons, but was seemingly all the same. She gently placed her hand on his cheek. It was dirty from all of his struggles, that she knew, but it didn't bother her in the slightest. She gave the other elf a soft smile as if to tell him that everything was going to be okay.
Better late than never. I haven't actually been here for very long!

Hey guys! I'm Rekaigan, you can shorten that to Rek or Rekai if you'd like. I frequent the IRC a lot so.. We can talk there if you'd like, or you can PM me or whatever floats your boat!

I don't know if I should repeat what my description says in my page, so I'll leave it up to you guys to ask me questions! Fire away~
As usual, at the 6th stretch of morning, Alya was already awake. But as always, she was unaware of what was going on. As she walked down stairs to the ground floor of the tavern, a loud crash rang out throughout the structure. Even this amount of sound was enough to snap Alya out of her usual daydreaming state. She stood there, shocked for a moment before calming down. She blankly scanned the room, seeing many of the remaining patrons begin to panic. She still didn't know what was going on, but her instincts told her it was nothing good. The door didn't look as nice as it did the day before. It looked...hurt.

She glanced as Susie for a moment, wondering if she should ask her what was happening, but she figured that she could just carry on with her usual routines. Whatever they were. She slowly stepped across the slightly scuffed wooden floor of the tavern, her bare feet making almost no sound. She had brought her flute from upstairs; she never went anywhere without it. She calmly sat down on the stool on the slightly elevated platform, raising the flute's lip plate to her lips.

The tune that resonated from the flute was soft and melodic. It was a simple song. It was slow, holding each note. The sound echoed throughout the tavern, Alya's mind set on preserving peace within the tavern. She didn't know if her music would help, but she hoped that everyone would calm down.
She nodded in acknowledgement of the other girl's goals in this game. Raeki, didn't really have any goals rather than to just play the game and make friends within it. As always, it'd be a goal like 'I'm going to be the strongest battle mage in the game!', but it felt really lackluster compared to this girl's endgame. She explored her options as the girl spoke about her future endeavors.. She was interested in Alchemy, but she didn't know what it was really capable of. But she'll give it a go. Become the best Alchemist, why not.

The sudden change in direction of the conversation caught Raeki off guard, but it she recovered quickly, nodding again with a grin. "Of course they can! Just tell me their name and I'll invite them~ What do you think Ara-" She had turned around to look in Araris' direction, but he had disappeared. She quickly checked the party list, to see that he had disconnected. How weird. She shrugged as she turned back to the girl. "Dis-Distrugerea..Inger.." She murmured, trying to pronounce the name. "Did you want me to call you by the full name or is there a shortened version?"

@Ermine
@Crimson Raven You can always make your character log out for some reason.. I think that's what we have in place when you have RL stuff happening and you can't post.
Friendly reminder for everyone, since we never stated this:

You don't lose items from dying. The only penalties are loss of EXP and some of your Cor.

Definite values haven't been decided on. But I'll say 5% of both.

EDIT: Sorry for the confusion, right now EXP isn't a thing. So you just lose Cor.
We start in the Town of Beginnings. The area surrounding it has wild Boars. Beyond those areas is unknown to our players, but most likely have dire wolves and stronger animals.
@boomlover I would say Cor, as it was the currency in Aincrad in SAO.

"Cor can take the form of physical coins, known denominations include a silver coin worth 100 Cor, a gold coin worth 500 Cor"

Just for some values that were used in SAO in terms of how expensive things were in that game:
- 1 Cor - The cheapest dry and unrefined black bread purchased from an NPC bakery.
- 30 Cor - The amount of Cor that can be obtained by defeating a single Frenzy Boar in the field.
- 50 Cor - The price of renting a room in a 1st Floor Inn for one night (less than 6 jō tatami mats or 100 square ft). Comes with one bed and a table.
- 1,000 Cor - The amount of Cor that can be obtained by defeating a Lizardman Lord on the 74th Floor.
- 100,000 Cor - The minimum price of a custom-made weapon made using special ingredients by Lisbeth(For our RP, probably any skilled Blacksmith).

So when using these values, try to gauge a... reasonable amount. Mobs don't drop that much money as you can see from the relatively low increase in money gained from a Boar to Lizardman Lord.

Unless @NightmareInd has a different idea for currency and value, I think Cor would be a good place to start.
@ErmineI think it can be anyone in that party but for most cases the leader has to be notified and make the final judgement.

In almost all MMOs, only the party leader has the power to invite, and they are more often than not, the person who decides whether or not that person joins the party. Considering my character's personality, I don't think that'll be a problem. However, we'll need to actually start doing collab posts to lessen the amount of small post.
