@CirusArvennicus Lol, super sorry. I read your post but now I have to read the others. I'll reply soon
Name: Drust Royle
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Ethnicity: African-American

Appearance: Drust is a tall and lean young man of African descent. Due to this, his skin is dark or rather light in color. He has a sharp nose, large brown eyes, and full lips. Ontop of his head is soft, black hair, edged and cut close. He has a rather short face with semi-angular features and round cheeks. A unique trait of his is his eyebrows, as they are thick and wild. He always has a teardrop pendant around his necklace, tied with a pink, thick, string.

Personality: Not so dependable or trustworthy, Drust, like any other teen was content with living second to second. Though his mind was constantly plagued with the dreads of the future, he was always too complacent to deal with his immediate problems. He does however, carry a very free air about himself. Unrestrained and rather reckless, he's always felt a need to be in the center of the spotlight. A very dangerous trait when living in Modern City, Georgia.

Background: Besides the disappearance of his father, Drust had a rather average life. Living on the fringes of middle class America, he's been well for most of his life. However, around the age of 17, he rebelled against his strict mother and live-in uncle. The two of them was quick to toss him out onto the street. Normally, this would have been a terrifying experience. Which it was for the first two days but something, rather unremarkable happened on the third.

He saw a helpless kitten trapped in a metal trash can on a rainy night, its cries for help drew him from out a glass bus stop he took refuge in. When he reached it, he found himself capable of, without any lectures or hindrances, of saving the kitten. The following weak he spent his time tending for it and despite his best efforts of saving it, watched it die one night.

In his numbness he realized that he had the freedom or was unchained enough to save that kitten. To give it another week of life. Since, he's valued his freedom. And though he sought understanding from his mother and uncle, he respected them from then on.

Years later he found himself strolling along the streets to honor his freedom. One night, he took a cab near the docks, just to appreciate the scenery. But instead he was met with a horrific sight and scary outcome. A explosion that blinded him and sent him to the hospital for several days. It was bad, because though he was warned to not be so close, he took in hand his own freedom, and made a foolish mistake.

When he awoke from the explosion, the vista of his right arm being on fire and his left one, as cold and pale as ice sent him frantically into the streets. A car exploded soon afterwards. When he awoke again he was in the hospital. He spent several days there before being released. He was dodging school the day his powers emerged again. He still has yet to decide what to do with them.

Other: None for now
Interested.

Well in Modern City we should have corporations of course. And with corporations come small and big competition. I'm thinking a uptown metropolis with a almost too obvious divide between a impoverished downtown.

The school can be smacked down in the middle and be called Modern Academy. Massive in size.

Can we have a unusual mountain near it? Making it a mountain city.

Just a few thoughts.
Katsuo Masahige

Standing from his place near the teacher, he pulled the strap of his backpack on his shoulder and strode off towards the others. He eyed the lit candles on the beginning of each long and curved desk with caution. It was a bit creepy and different, especially when compared to the pristine conditions of the labs. He pinched one until it smothered into a dark wisp, the heat not quite as bothersome as battle damage would be.

When he removed his finger, the flame was still lit.

"What the-" He reposed from the fire with a nervous, quiet chuckle and preceded up the stairs.

In one lane, he noticed the red-head and a purple-haired girl going at it... or maybe they were playing. The tall one that had gotten a second glance was sitting above another, a boy who seemed more or less normal. Katsuo rubbed his neck lightly as the feeling of being the odd one out crept up on him.

He was going to initiate a conversation but quickly enough things went south. The tall man pushed out his chair and reprimanded the girl with a rather threatening tone. Instinct led Katsuo to grabbing a katana that was nowhere near his person, his hand reaching at his side as he braced himself to dispatch the boy. But it was short lived, just as the man's reaction to the red-head girl.

Once he realized his side was empty, he straightened up and with sideways, puckered, lips asked. "Is it customary to yell at women like that? I might be wrong," he said aloud, scratching the bottom of his chin. "But I felt heavy for a moment."

I'll get a post out myself tonight :3
@Raijinslayer Ahh, so that's what happened. Didn't even know. Well, perhaps Sable and Aiden can meet up.

My current reaction to the recent Sable posts so far:

But yeah, it's understandable edge.

How is Aiden and Oriel's training going anyway?

Sable's seems to have gone full Edgy Anti-hero on us, I wonder how this will play out

Just goes to show how much that vision affected him. Hopefully it won't come true but in the meantime, he has a lot to accomplish before the Grand Magic Games begin.
Soooo yea. I'm back and will be on all afternoon tomorrow.

His back still smoked from Cyn's tantrum attack. The muscle surrounding his spine stung. It felt like fine hairs had been ripped from flesh and was fighting through the compact, tense, muscles to regrow. He was doing a fine job of ignoring the pain, he had been through much worse before.

Since Cyn had left, he had made quick work disposing of the fire--though he doubted he needed to due to the cold--,packed the few things he had laid out, and regrettably trudged on. She had decided to leave, it was her choice and one he had respected and felt relief over. Thanks to her verdict on the situation, he wouldn't have to worry about being stabbed in the back. With the serrated wind picking up and Rush shivering from it, Sable thought it best to tuck the Exceed in his sac.

I need to grow stronger, I need to be ready. I want power. And not just any power, I want true power! he uttered to himself, brows furrowing and jaws tensing.

He adjusted the straps of his pack and felt the tattered remains of his cloak tug towards the bottom of the mountain. White schools of icicles fluttered around him with the strength of a storm but he trudged on. The crunch of his boots were the only sound that he heard above the deathly howl. For a long time he contemplated how to gain strength and when the memory of Aiden passed through, he felt for a moment, that a small thread had introduced itself to him.

Magnus Hunters... That bastard... he was strong. The bastard that whisked Aiden and Oriel away.
