The park was oddly lonely. Though the sun shined through the dense leaves, giving the world a emerald hue, it still felt very much dull to him. Amidst the burning of his right side and the tight squeeze of his left, he could only wince occasionally from the pain that now consumed him. To distract himself, he leaned his head back on the black iron bench and gazed at the clouds.

There was three in his line of vision. All of them wispy and almost transparent. He felt like that should have been him for a moment, all transparent and invisible. How lucky was a cloud to be considered so mundane. One look up was all it took to be able to ignore them for the rest of the day. He leaned back up minutes later when the pain would tolerate no distractions.

He gritted his teeth before holding his arms, the few kids that were around seemed to not notice.

"Dammit! What the hell am I suppose to do about this?"
It always makes me laugh for some reason.
Katsuo Masahige

A bit distracted by his surroundings, more so what was directly beside him, Katsuo had to pull his sideways stare from the wacky scene. "Yea, for reasons I'd rather not get in to," he explained a bit dully. "I'm a Meister. Wielder of many weapons and the best at what I do if you don't mind me saying."

He had heard somewhere that confidence was looked on with favor by most cultures. Then something she said struck him wrong. What was that about being both? was that even possible?

"Wa- Wait! you can be both!?" he asked, posture degenerating to pure excitement. His voice echoing off the walls of the classroom.
My character can literally wield anyone. Whoever needs a partner or wants one, I'm down.

Time had, ironically, frozen what little change had occurred in the last few months. He had rather quickly reverted to the rude upstart that walked with self-importance. Cloaked in a brown, tattered robe, Sable and his partner Exceed: Rush was on there way towards the Magic Council when he spotted a red-head girl.

As she approached him, he stopped walking and swept back the hood that covered his features. "That's the first fucking thing you say to me?" He smiled fondly at her before leaning a bit closer, a balled fist falling onto his hip. "If you don't want the job, why not telling me where your higher-up is. I'm going to make the bastard train me. And then... well... let's just say I plan on having a hell of alot of fun."
Spider-Rogue

"We don't have time fo-" Spider-Rogue shouted but was interrupted by a white clad Spiderman.

It was a good thing too, he honestly felt a argument would have sparked from his disagreement. While the other Spidermen spoke, he fell into the drone-like state of half-listening and half bracing himself for the battle. He could feel his hands tightening, clenching onto his skin as his heart thundered forth.

This is it. No mistakes and no clanking up. All I have to do is take down as many of the enemy as I can. And perhaps save a couple people in the process. I was chosen for a reason, I'm sure someone out there must believe in me. Spider-Rogue smirked before pulling his mask over his face, the usual temper and sarcasm falling on his face as he ran and leaped into the portal.

A sweltering heat passed his face on the other side. He looked on with horror at large and dark columns of smoke. The screams of citizens, the buzz of Goblin Gliders, and shaking of the mess going on below all became a despairing soundtrack to him. His spider-sense guided his hands as he flung a string of web and himself onto the wrecked surface of a skyscraper. He instinctively avoided the broken window pane and held tight to the surface a cracked on.

"I know they said the party had started without us but..." He gazed down on a oblivious Brute below as it flipped a car over and stomped down the single street. Enraged a bit, he prepared to attack but his spider-sense ticked him off to an assault from above. Just before the knife hit him, he flipped over to the next pane and shot a string at the Goblin Glider above.

Using it as a anchor, he swung around the building and up onto its roof. Then with a yank, he sent the Goblin down towards the brute. The explosion rocked the building and sent another, dark, column of smoke into the air. Spider-Rogue walked to the edge of the building and crouched down onto it, leaning over the ledge.

"No more Mr. Bad Goblins. Its time to put the kiddies to bed," he barked before swinging off towards his next target.
Awesome, I'm about to post now guys. Won't be on later tonight. Gotta do something for the fam.
My character is up and in the Char Tab.
Name: Drust "Dru" Royle
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Ethnicity: African-American

Appearance

Drust is a tall and lean young man of African descent. Due to this, his skin is dark or rather light in color. He has a sharp nose, large brown eyes, and full lips. Ontop of his head is soft, black hair, edged and cut close. He has a rather short face with semi-angular features and round cheeks. A unique trait of his is his eyebrows, as they are thick and wild. He always has a teardrop pendant around his necklace, tied with a pink, thick, string.

Personality: Not so dependable or trustworthy, Drust, like any other teen was content with living second to second. Though his mind was constantly plagued with the dreads of the future, he was always too complacent to deal with his immediate problems. He does however, carry a very free air about himself. Unrestrained and rather reckless, he's always felt a need to be in the center of the spotlight. A very dangerous trait when living in Modern City, Georgia.

Background: Besides the disappearance of his father, Drust had a rather average life. Living on the fringes of middle class America, he's been well for most of his life. However, around the age of 17, he rebelled against his strict mother and live-in uncle. The two of them was quick to toss him out onto the street. Normally, this would have been a terrifying experience. Which it was for the first two days but something, rather unremarkable happened on the third.

He saw a helpless kitten trapped in a metal trash can on a rainy night, its cries for help drew him from out a glass bus stop he took refuge in. When he reached it, he found himself capable of, without any lectures or hindrances, of saving the kitten. The following weak he spent his time tending for it and despite his best efforts of saving it, watched it die one night.

In his numbness he realized that he had the freedom or was unchained enough to save that kitten. To give it another week of life. Since, he's valued his freedom. And though he sought understanding from his mother and uncle, he respected them from then on.

Years later he found himself strolling along the streets to honor his freedom. One night, he took a cab near the docks, just to appreciate the scenery. But instead he was met with a horrific sight and scary outcome. A explosion that blinded him and sent him to the hospital for several days. It was bad, because though he was warned to not be so close, he took in hand his own freedom, and made a foolish mistake.

When he awoke from the explosion, the vista of his right arm being on fire and his left one, as cold and pale as ice sent him frantically into the streets. A car exploded soon afterwards. When he awoke again he was in the hospital. He spent several days there before being released. He was dodging school the day his powers emerged again. He still has yet to decide what to do with them.

Other: None for now
Katsuo Masahige

Katsuo leaned back and bounced the toe of his left boot. "Sorry about that, guess I wasn't thinking."

I'll leave a mental note that girls are just as capable as men, he thought to himself while eyeing the others. They all seemed rather quirky, if not abnormal in the grand scheme of things. It honestly made him feel a bit, not entirely, but a bit more comfortable with himself and his ignorance of the world.

He chuckled at the scene as it started to unfold but someone walking towards him drew his attention. He looked upon a girl with brown hair and a even lighter shade of eyes. It was the same girl from when he was forced to squat near the teacher but now she appeared a bit more vivid than before.

Katsuo turned to face her, a quaint smile forming as she approached. When she spoke Japanese, Katsuo's smile became sincere. He relaxed his posture and transitioned to his native tongue, letting the words flow out fluently. "Katsuo is just fine. I'm pretty laid-back and I wasn't born in Japan so I'm not as uptight about formality. What about you though? you got a name?"
