Esdras is a composed man whose rather sedated expressions hides a very angsty and dark monologue. He sees the world and others as his play things, toys to be put back in the box whenever he's done with them; or, if it pleases him, to be torn apart and thrown away. Among his dark lines are subtle lies, a fickle rage, and a sadistic joy from watching others fail.

Most would compare such cruelty to a demon but its only the front of a agonizing storm. Pain swirls in a heavy hurricane as negativity grips at him. Happiness is always a league and a half away, and if he ever reaches it, its always fading and short-lived. This happens regardless of the situation or his outlook, for his power often drains him of positive emotions. Leaving only hatred, dark ambitions, and sadness.

Esdras powers are contained, sealed if you will, in a alternate form that he controls with great pain and effort on his part. When he transforms, the mutations that he undergoes, the dark power that courses through him is similar to fire dancing on the skin. The ability to manipulate magnetic fields is the strength he gains in this form. While not necessary, transforming does increase his capabilities. When using this ability, metals such as iron, nickle, cobalt, and rare earthen minerals are under his control.

Esdras has observed that he can generate and manipulate magnetic fields, attract and repel metal objects, construct magnetic force fields, and to his own surprise, sense disturbances in the field. Physical limits have been noted, he can only lift objects that weight up to 4 automobiles and his range for his magnetic awareness stretches to over ten meters (30ft) around himself. Its weaknesses comes in the form of the objects he uses. Magnetism in a object can be degenerated by extreme heat and creating magnetic fields takes a literal minute to construct and implant within the existing field.

Giichi gave Yamato a hard nod. The straight line of his face threatening to turn into a smirk. His approval, for whatever reason, meant a lot of to him. Even if at times, he believed him to be overly aggressive, borderline scary.

Standing to his feet, Giichi watched Gin leave before heading out himself. It would be nice to get to know another ninja, especially one from another village. It interested him how others veiwed their homelands compared to the rest of the world. He had that goal in mind as he strolled out behind the ninja, that was until a hand fell onto his shoulder.

Looking over his shoulder, he gazed at Yamato with trepidation. Crap, did I mess up? Maybe he was just pretending that I did well. When he answered Giichi's thoughts, the youth could only smile.

“Thanks.”

With a slight frown, he accepted the mission. He didn't particularly enjoy thinking that a fellow ninja could be an enemy but it was a reality. One that he guessed was being forced down his throat, not by Yamato, but by the world in most cases. Reluctantly, Giichi tilted his face to the side, crossed his arms, and answered. “Okay. I'll keep a eye on him. Honestly though, I don't think he's too bad.”

Leaving the room after Yamato, Giichi scratched his head with a lone finger. The extra burden showed that Yamato was trusting him to carry it out, which left him with little choice in the matter. The Minamoru and the Uzumaki clans were on good terms at the moment. If he remembered, he believed his father was speaking of an alliance. That stuff was beyond him most of the time but a inner-circle of sorts was beginning to show itself to him.

Not thinking too hard on Gin's words, Giichi followed suit and with nervous, if not, adaptive smiles comforted his jokes. So Gin had known, which honestly took a lot off his shoulders. He wondered how for a second but figured he had just overheard them.

Giichi staid in the doorway. “Doubt it,” he answered bluntly. “He's not the type to blame the clan on a single ninja--Maybe vice-versa … I think. He knows my clan is respectable, powerful; sure a insult might go out to them in anger but I don't think he would mean it.”

“Thing is, Yamato holds power in high-esteem. If ya wanna get on his good side, show you're worth.” A frown dotted his lips at his next thought. “I can sorta see why he acts that way … its complicated and ... well, traditional.”
