You know, I should make more warm, crisp, New York style bagels with an soon and smear them in cream cheese, then top them with thin sliced onions, capers, and smoked salmon... Anyone want one? ;D

Bio

Greetings and salutations, my friends!

I am the Revenant Writer, but you may call me Reven, or really whatever you would like (within reason and good manners, thank you), and I am nineteen years of age.

I am very diverse in my interests, so I enjoy doing practically everything from hiking to horse riding, currently own a small farm, am an animal whisperer, an artist, a great cook, an entrepreneur, and am working steadily to bring to life my many stories in the form of books, graphic novels, and eventually video games, films and TV.

I am intrigued by most genres, including slice of life, action/adventure, sci-fi, fantasy, supernatural, gothic, steampunk, alternate universes, and on. Dark and gritty, more realistic themes are my preference, and I will practically curse many of my characters with misfortune when appropriate, but I am open to most all ideas.

Some romance is fine with me, and I will go fairly far with it, but I do draw the line at writing intimacy and am not interested in the lovingly nicknamed 'smut'. Just not my cup of tea. So, thank you for the interest... but, no, just no.

Mid-Casual and up is my preference, with world building, plot and character development being of utmost importance. I ONLY RP in third-person and find first-person not only confusing, but extremely awkward.

Currently, I am mainly interested in doing 1x1 and small group. PM me if you are interested in starting something.

Best regards,
-Reven

@Revenant Writer Heh. Not against a 1x1x1 if Nev would prefer fewer threads to keep track of ;p

Great idea, by the way!
I am certainly up for a 1x1x1 (there sure is an easier way of putting that ;) ).

As for ideas, what do you both think about the upper classes having vary advanced tech and living lavishly, while others have it much worse, living harsh lives traveling in junk ships and living on planets throughout the galaxy.
@RBYDark

LOL. I did not even see your post there!

Well, I'm honestly game for whatever. I've done some free, I was in one advanced, but I've mostly done Mid-casual. While realism isn't a must for me, I do think that characters and, by extension, character development, are the most important part of any RP or Story.

Oh, don't worry- by realism, I only mean that the events in a story sound plausible for that world.

Has no one taken The Serpentis, yet? It sounds as if there are multiple of the others, and though I like those plots a lot, too, I think I'd be most interested in whichever has been least done.
Welcome to the forum, Beltzer.

If you still want someone to pratice with, send me a PM. :)
Hello, Snarl.

I would be interested in the Monster hunter and Bounty-hunter pairings, and The Familiar plot. PM me if you are still looking for partners.

@Revenant Writer I really have no idea what you mean by that.

In less cryptic language, then: I was going to PM you 'cause I thought your first post was good, then I saw your the gif in your signature and because I do not like it, I decided not to. No offense, just not my style.
What writing style do you prefer, Nev? I am interested, but I only do advanced-casual and up, and strange character development along with realism is a must for me.
Funny, I read your first post and was thinking to myself, cool, I think I will PM this guy... but then I scrolled down, saw your new signature and thought, on second thought, maybe not.
@Revenant Writer Usually the answer is "no" as we feel that would give an unfair advantage to those with more free time to write (After all, if you have the time to write three entries, you could theoretically attack all three bonus categories right on the head). That said, if you write more than one piece for this contest we would be willing to showcase them all; in that case we would ask you to select one of your pieces to be eligible to win prizes, and the others would still be posted with the contest thread for feedback, but would not be eligible for bonus categories or the popular vote.

(At least this is how we've handled situations like this before, in prior contests. The one time it happened.)

Ha! I have about as far as you can get from 'more free time to write', but I understand your meaning. In that case, if I am able to finish both works which I have started, I will do as you have said.

Thanks for the info. :)
