No trouble at all! This room specifically has double layered protection, so it will hide you even if he comes into the building. But, as log as there isn’t an emergency, you’ll be fine to also roam the complex. Just don’t leave the mountain, and be wary of going outside.

It should. It’s supposed to sever any link someone has to you, and keep it separated as long as you stay here. So, he may notice he no longer has you in his grasp, eventually, but now he has to find you. And better here than anywhere, since villains never go too far into this building, and it’s pretty well defended anyways.
