@Rex Just wondering, but did you adapt him from a Serenity RP character? The picture and, of course, character names made me think of that. I was in one once, but in never got started good.

The only problems I saw were the names, as they don't fit with the Avatar universe. The team can still be the Fireflies (after all, there's also the fire ferrets playing) but your name, Malcolm, and Serenity don't really fit. Other than that it's fine.

Seth was born in the fire nation to a black smith family. From a young age he was taught how to create weapons using his fire bending skills. By the time he was ten he had made his very own Weapon of black steel he called the Black Star Blade. While he was still young his father told him of the amazing adventures he went on as a kid, but by far his favorite was when his father met the Avatar. Seth admired the Avatar and their efforts to keep the peace. However, as Seth grew he slowly lost interest in black smiting and more into Pro-bending. He would listen to every match on the radio and always said he would be a great Pro-bending champion. For his fifteenth birth day his parents took his to Republic City to watch a match live. Seth was enthralled at the match because for years he had envisioned what a match would look like, but he never imagined a match to be like this.

Seth began to train when he got back home to join the ranks of the Pro-bending players. It was a long road but as he perfected his skills he finally felt comfortable in his skills to try out in Republic City. He left home when he was nineteen to join a Pro-bending team. It was much harder than it seemed because he didn’t immodestly get into Pro-bending but first got a job as a dishwasher at a café. However, every night he would scour the city for flyers or other indications that someone was looking for a Fire Bender for their Pro-Bending. It took him 6 months but he finally found a team looking for Fire Bender try outs. He immediately went to where the try outs where held and watched as the other fire benders had their turn. Seth was sacred at the fact that many of the Fire benders where good and he wouldn’t be able to become a Pro-Bender player.

When Seth’s name was called he went into the try outs and preformed with all his heart. By the end of the try outs he and the rest of them were told they would make their decision by the end of the week and asked for contact information. Seth gave it to them and walked out feeling lest then stellar. He couldn’t tell if they were impressed with him or found him lack luster and pathetic. A week later the two Pro Bending players he tried out in front of came by his work, but he felt they were only there to eat. Since trying out he was pushed up to waiter and while he helped other guests one of the waitress told Seth the two wanted to speak to him. His heart leapt into his throat when he heard this and proceeded to their table.

The two introduced themselves: the earth bender was named Sotoe Grey and his water bender partner was Tulu Frost. They asked Seth if he had some time to talk to which Seth was able to get time from his boss. The two talked about his try out and what things they liked and what things he could improve on. By the end of the conversation Sotoe congratulated Seth on joining their Pro-Bending team called Firefly. Seth wanted to leap up and down and hug the two, but he kept his composure and thanked the two. When the two left and he went back into the kitchen he celebrated like a child who got the toy they wanted for their birthday.

The next day Seth met the two at the training grounds where they helped Seth improve on the skills he needed to while also perfecting the skills they had commemorated him for. By the time three months had passed Seth was waiting with Sotoe and Tulu. He was nervous for his first Pro-Bending match but Sotoe reassured him that he was nervous for his first match as well, but his team helped him through it. That’s what Sotoe and Tulu did as the match began. It started out slow and Seth made a few mistakes, but as the match progressed. Seth got into a grove and with the help of Sotoe and Tulu they won the match.

The post-match party in Seth’s mind was the best thing that ever happened to him. He was on the road to becoming a Pro-Bender player and he knew once Firefly became famous he could bring his parents to Republic City and give them a home to live in so he wasn’t so far away.

The next two years went by so quickly Seth felt it was like he blinked and time had speed up. Firefly was doing great, they had won matches but also lost some but the ladder leaned more towards the winning side since they were 15-5. Seth was at the height of his life. He was a Pro-Bender player, his mother and father came to one of his matches which they lost, but he didn’t care since he got to see his parents. He was even asked to be Sotoe’s best man when he asked Tulu to marry him. He felt like he found the rails to the rest of his life, but that came to a crashing halt when news broke that the Avatar was killed. It was a blow to everyone’s mood and soon it became apparent that everything was going to change.

Seth wanted to stay in Republic City and continue his Pro-Bending career, but he knew the leader of the fire nation would want to mobilize a unit should the peace be threatened. Sotoe and Tulu understood Seth and told him to go back to the Fire nation to help with the peace efforts. When asked about his replacement. Sotoe and Tulu informed him they were having a child and would retire from Pro-bending. Seth wished them the best of luck and caught the next boat to the Fire nation.

Once he returned to the fire nation, his first stop was his parents’ house. He informed them of what he was doing and his father presented him with Seth’s very first weapon, The Black Star Blade. Seth said his goodbyes to his parents and left for the military camp. He wasn’t sure he’d need to worry since the next avatar would show up soon, but something in his gut told him otherwise.

Through the years, Seth trained at the military camp and improved his Fire bending skills for more combat then Pro-bending matches. However, he found that his skills in Pro-Bending made him more agile and faster at seeing potential threats. He was never one to be a leader so instead he followed every general’s order and trained until he could no longer move at times

It’s been twenty-one years since the Avatars death and Seth now finds himself among the youth of the Fire nation. He was never one to be a leader, but now he finds himself as a lieutenant under one of the generals in the Fire Nation. Their mission is to help the White lotus keep the Red lotus at bay.

oh no, I knew what you meant. I might have come off as a jerk though. sorry. I do have a question. when the Avatar dies, would Zuko's daughter ask any and all fire nation people who left the fire nation to come back to help the war effort or would she only ask those in the fire nation to fight?

It's mostly a timeline problem. The Avatar was killed 21 years ago and with all of the worldwide trade that happens and radios, it wouldn't have taken more than a few days for the word of her death to reach them.

That said, I'm going to have Kuvira conscript every bender in her Empire, putting the children in military school, so if you want to be in the military as a child, that's fine. You could also be a military brat, and have simply grown up with the troops. Or whatever.

Also, I think you accidentally deleted the equipment and "other" sections from your CS.

Seth’s village was attacked by beasts when he was three. He survived with his best friend Alex. The two traveled the world trying their best to survive with no home and no support beside one another. Seth was always fascinated with weapons. He loved the feel and loved building them since his father and mother where both black smiths. After working countless jobs, Seth was able to build and create his Wolf Blades. Eight yo-yo’s with built in saw blades to fight off any creatures that would attack him or his friend.

Fearing that Alex might be attacking while Seth was gone, he worked even harder to get enough money to build her a weapon of her own. Seth knew she could fend for herself, but Seth always feared she might bite off more than she could chew. He made sure he made enough money to create the perfect weapon. He created the Guardian Dragoon for her so she could fight both long range and short range, but ultimately hopped she’d use the long range weapons to stay out of trouble.

One day Alex mentioned Beαcoɴ, a school that could help them fight against beasts. Seth was skeptical since he felt looking for a fight was suicide, but after she continued to bring up the school. Seth caved and agreed to go with her to Beαcoɴ.
Semblance: Soul Strings: Invisible strands of the soul connect to Seth’s weapons so he can effectively control them.

Alex was always a fighter, especially when it can to her friends. She would always befriend the Faunus in her village. One friend she has had for a while has been Seth. He was always the type to get into fights because someone else was being hurt and she admired that in him. However, he didn’t fight too well and usually his animal instincts kicked in and he became feral. Her father and Seth’s parents always got along since her father was a war veteran and Seth’s parents where black smiths. Their lives changed when a pack of beasts attacked their village. Alex was told to take Seth away from the village while the others fended off the monsters. When they returned they found everyone in the village slaughtered

Alex and Seth soon found themselves living in the streets and fighting for their lives to keep alive. Seth however, seemed determined to get enough money for something he didn’t tell Alex about. Over the years the two worked to get enough money to survive on, but one day Seth showed Alex a weapon he had created from the money he saved. She told her it was something to help her get out of a fight. Seth too had created Weapons for himself. this gave Alex an idea, she mentioned Beαcoɴ to Seth and how they would help improve their fighting against beasts. It took a while for her to convince him, but in the end she was able to get him to agree to heading to Beαcoɴ.

Semblance: Dragon Skin; Alex’s skin becomes as thick as dragon scales and can withstand attacks for a short period of time.

Zack’s child hood was a unlike one to say the least. His father owned Cross Guard industries. A manufacture of weapons that was used to against beasts and creatures for solders to use. Because his father was never around, Zack began to play various board and card games against the butlers and nannies at his estate. However, Zack started to become obsessed with the board games that use strategic algorithms to succeed and he soon began to strategize his entire life. Every possible outcome ran through his head from what would happen if he had a certain food for breakfast to what would happen if he took a certain street home.

Zack became board with how his life was going so he informed his father he would enroll in Beαcoɴ and become a fighter to better understand the world and so he wouldn’t have a desk job like his father. As he predicted his father was upset, but after Zack showed all the pros and cons of enrolling in Beαcoɴ. His father gave the ok for him to enroll and gave Zack his very weapons, specially designed for him.
Semblance: Eyes of Time: Zack can see in to the future to prepare for any attack or strategy. However, his sight can only see five minutes into the future.

From a young age Nails always was looking for a fight. He loved to fight and loved the thrill of fighting. Fighting another human or Faunus gave him a rush and it didn’t matter if he won or lost. He was just looking for a good time and a fun experience. However, things change when he fights a beats because the fight becomes a thrill right that makes him feel alive. He doesn’t have to hold back anything and should the creature die. Then he looks at it as survival of the fittest and he was the clear winner. He does hold back when fighting another human or Faunus because he’s just looking for a good time and not looking to take another human or Faunus’s life. He has enrolled in Beαcoɴ to increase his fighting skill and hopefully find others that share his passion of fighting and having a good time.
Semblance: Sanity Check: Nails is able to switch off his nervous system so he is no longer able to feel pain however, this makes him lose sanity and be consumed by madness if he is exposed for long periods of time.

Seth watched wide eyed as all the chairs were taken expect for the last one. However, his attention was diverted to the small sphere and hologram. He could care less about the women shown. He was more interested in the sphere.

“Oh no, I know that look,” Blake sighed before he added; “No you cannot get up there and take the sphere apart. First of all it’s not yours to do as you wish and second, you’ll probably get kicked out before you even get a chance to try for the school of thought.”

“Oh come on Blake! Look at it,” Seth said as Blake hovered around him and sighed. Seth’s white fox tail swished back and forth with excitement as he continued, “Look at the detail, the beauty of that machine. The hologram it produces looks flawless with no glitches. It’s wonderful!”

“And what does that make me?” Blake asked.

“Wait, are you jealous?” Seth aid before he laughed, “You are!”

“It’s your fault for adding the emotional chip to the A.I. chip and beside I’m ten times better than that hunk of metal,” Blake said.
Seth patted his eye fly on the top of its head and said, “No worries. You’re better than the rest Blake. I just want to see what makes it tick. I know what makes you tick because I made you,” Seth said before he added, “Maybe I should have given you a female voice if you’re going to get like this every time I look at another machine.”

Blake was quite for a while before he spoke again, but this time his voice had changed into a female’s voice, “Not funny Seth.”
Seth crouched over and laughed as he held his rubs. Tears were filling his eyes as he continued the laugh before he finally got himself together and said, “I can’t call you Blake any more now can I. How about Betty?”

“Serenity,” the eye fly said.

“Serenity?” Seth asked a little confused.

“I want to be called Serenity from now on,” Serenity said.

“Fine,” Seth said before he turned his attention to all the people that had sat down and he let out a sigh, “Figures there’s no Anthropomorphic s up there.”

“Jealous?” Serenity mocked.

“Shut up,” Seth growled.
